Chapter 196

After Lin Chen settled Lin Guodong's family in the temporary dormitory of the Starfire base,

he immediately gathered the members of the assault team. "Iron Hand Group members have repeatedly provoked Lin Guodong,

and even used their hands to hurt people; this cannot just be let go." Lin Chen's fingers tapped lightly on the desktop, "We must use a psychological offensive to let Zhou Bao know that bullying the people we protect will come at a price."

Li Wei leaned over: "What do you want to do? Attack directly? Now is not the time to completely turn against them."

Lin Chen shook his head: "No need for a hard fight; we captured three Iron Hand Group prisoners from the last attack on the medical station,

let them take a message back, specifically to humiliate Lin Guodong and worsen his situation in the Iron Hand Group."

Everyone was a bit confused, and Lin Chen explained: "Lin Guodong is already being excluded in the Iron Hand Group,

and we will have the prisoners pass the word that 'Lin Guodong can only rely on the Starfire Group for protection,

and is just a piece of trash that no one wants in the Iron Hand Group'; for the sake of face, Zhou Bao

will definitely treat Lin Guodong even more coldly, and other members will also target him even more intensely. By then, Lin Guodong will have no way out, and might even take the initiative to provide us with information about the Iron Hand Group."

Li Wei's eyes lit up: "This move is brilliant! Not only do we not need to do it ourselves, but we can also disrupt the interior of the Iron Hand Group,

and we can also win over Lin Guodong; three birds with one stone." Lin Chen immediately had people bring over the three prisoners, one of whom, a prisoner named Zhao San, had had conflicts with Lin Guodong before and was the most suitable to pass this message.

"If you want to live,

then take this sentence to Zhou Bao and the people of the Iron Hand Group." Lin Chen stared at Zhao San,

his voice cold, "Just say 'Lin Guodong is eating and drinking well at the Starfire base, and has people protecting him,

unlike in the Iron Hand Group, where he is not even as good as a dog; only people like you who have no ability

would bully a family'. Remember, not a single word can be wrong; if you dare to change it, or if it's not passed on, you know the consequences."

Zhao San was so scared he nodded repeatedly: "I remember! I will definitely pass it on!

" Lin Chen had people untie his ropes, and also released the other two prisoners: "You two go back with him,

watch him, and ensure the message is passed on." The three prisoners felt as if they had been granted amnesty, stumbled out of the Starfire base, and ran toward the Iron Hand Group stronghold.

In less than an hour, the message reached Zhou Bao's ears.

"Unreasonable!

Lin Chen is deliberately humiliating us!" Zhou Bao was so angry he smashed the teacup in his hand on the ground,

and the fragments splashed all over Zhao San. The backbone members nearby hurriedly said: "Leader, we can't let Lin Guodong stay in the stronghold anymore, otherwise everyone will think we are afraid of the Starfire Group!"

Zhou Bao gritted his teeth: "Tear down Lin Guodong's shed, and make them move to the ruins outside the stronghold!

From now on, don't provide them with any food or medicine, and let them fend for themselves!"

Once the order was given, several members immediately took tools to tear down the shed where Lin Guodong had lived before; Lin Guodong had just returned from the Starfire base to get things, and seeing this scene, he was so angry his whole body trembled.

"By what right do you tear down my house?" Lin Guodong rushed up to stop them, but was pushed to the ground by a member,

"Leader Zhou said, trash like you who rely on outsiders for protection is not worthy of living in the stronghold!"

The surrounding members gathered around one after another, pointing at Lin Guodong and mocking: "Did you hear? Even Leader Zhou thinks you are shameful; you'd better hurry and get out to the Starfire Group, don't be an eyesore here!"

Liu Mei held Lin Xiaoxiao, hiding to the side and secretly wiping tears, while Lin Xiaoxiao was so scared she hugged Liu Mei's neck tightly, not daring to make a sound. Lin Guodong climbed up,

looking at the shed that had been torn into a mess, and then looking at the mocking eyes of the surrounding members, his heart was both angry and hateful—he knew that all of this was caused by Lin Chen's message, but now, he didn't even have the strength to refute.

The news reached the Starfire base, and Lin Chen was organizing medical supplies with Xia Nuan. "The message worked; Zhou Bao drove Lin Guodong to the ruins and even cut off their food." Li Wei said with a smile, "Next,

we just wait for Lin Guodong to come to us on his own." Lin Chen nodded, but his heart was not relaxed—he knew that although this psychological offensive was effective, it also pushed Lin Guodong to the brink, but in the contest between the two major forces, there was no room for any soft-heartedness.

Xia Nuan looked at Lin Chen's expression and said softly: "Don't worry too much,

if Lin Guodong is really at the end of his rope, we'll help him again; that can be considered having done our best."

Lin Chen said "hmm", picked up a bag of compressed biscuits: "Have the guards send some food to Lin Guodong; don't let them really starve to death; what we want is his information, not his life."

When the guards arrived at the ruins with the food, Lin Guodong was sitting on the ground in a daze, while Liu Mei and Lin Xiaoxiao were curled up to the side,

their faces pale. "This is the food Team Leader Lin asked me to send you." The guard handed the biscuits to Lin Guodong,

"Team Leader Lin said, if you've thought it through, you can go to the Starfire base to find him at any time." Lin Guodong took the biscuits, looking at the packaging bag in his hand, his heart full of mixed feelings—he didn't expect that the one who was finally willing to help him would be Lin Chen, whom he had betrayed before.
