Chapter 51: Hero Saves Beauty (Part 1)

Lin Chen was woken up by the sound of the wind outside the window. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw the system notification:

and he ran to the second floor, with A Kai following closely behind.

Rushing to the second-floor stairwell, Lin Chen saw a black shadow carrying Xia Nuan and running out the window. Xia Nuan had already fainted,

her head resting on the black shadow's shoulder. "Put her down!" Lin Chen shouted, but the black shadow didn't look back,

opened the second-floor window,

and jumped down, landing right in a pickup truck parked downstairs. The black shadow started the car,

the wheels crushed the snow, splashing a mist of snow, and drove into the distance.

"Chase!" Lin Chen didn't even think and jumped out the window, with A Kai following closely.

The two landed in the snow, their knees aching from the fall, but they couldn't care about rubbing them, so they climbed up and chased in the direction of the pickup truck.

The pickup truck drove very fast, and Lin Chen and A Kai ran in the snow. Before long, they were panting, and their legs began to feel weak.

"Where is Xia Nuan?" Lin Chen shouted. Eight people suddenly stood up in the corner, all holding guns,
