Chapter 1177: The Shaken Infected

Lin Yi stared at the advanced infected in front of him in astonishment. Unable to care whether it was dangerous or not, he reached out and poked its face.

The others were even more shocked, because they had been watching that advanced infected the whole time, and by the end they had even come to believe that Lin Yi's appearance was exactly what the advanced infected now looked like.

But when Lin Yi leaned over and compared the two side by side, he realized the two people could not be said to look unlike each other — they could be said to have absolutely no connection at all.

That advanced infected's features had completely transformed; if they hadn't seen it happen right under their noses, they probably wouldn't have believed it.

The only ones who probably weren't surprised by this change were Did Ning Chen and Xiao Han.

"Time to get ready and go." Did Ning Chen grabbed the infected with one hand, then sat down in the driver's seat himself and told it to start giving directions.

Although this advanced infected wasn't very bright, it had a decent memory for routes. At least with its lefts and rights, they quickly arrived at the infected's base in City A.

Not far from the base, Did Ning Chen parked the car in a corner, then activated his ability to scan the surroundings.

The surroundings were utterly chaotic; far too many infected were gathered in this area.

From low-level to advanced, they were all there.

"How do we get in?" The advanced infected looked at the familiar road ahead, a flash of bloodlust passing through its eyes.

"That's not hard. You can tie the two of us up and bring us in. That way you have something to account for to them, and it can lower their guard at the same time."

After Did Ning Chen finished speaking, Xiao Han immediately released vines, binding both of their hands, and along the way withdrew the vines from the advanced infected.

All these vines were under Xiao Han's control; if he wanted them to disappear, they could disappear.

The advanced infected got up and shifted its body. Although its body wouldn't stiffen and it wouldn't feel pain, after holding one posture for too long it still wanted to move around a bit.

"Alright, you two, let's go." The advanced infected strolled ahead, a vine in its hand — the very one linking Did Ning Chen and Xiao Han together.

Following the advanced infected inside, halfway in, infected began to appear.

Those infected looked at Did Ning Chen and Xiao Han with ravenous hunger, as if the two of them were some kind of delicious treat.

Although in their eyes, the two of them really might just be a big feast.

With the advanced infected right in front of them, the other infected didn't dare to move; they could only stand in place and let out wave after wave of roars at the two of them.

The advanced infected led the two deeper inside; the further in they went, the higher the infected's levels.

The group arrived at a place that resembled a factory.
