Chapter 182

Then he lay down.

He needed rest.

He slept soundly on the bed in this simple short-term rental room.

He slept until nearly six in the afternoon.

Only then did he get up.

He went downstairs and had a meal.

Then, he returned to the room.

He simply sat by the bed, watching the city lights begin to glow outside the window.

As if waiting for something.

Night began to fall over the small town of Anji.

This border town had a population of roughly four hundred thousand.

After night fell, the town's all-day bustle began to quiet down.

However, the town's unique nightlife also began.

Though not comparable to a bustling metropolis, it possessed a touch of exotic charm unique to the region.

125. We can design a virtual avatar for him.

Tianyin Music Company.

At the board meeting.

Fang Lan, the head of the Planning Department, was reporting to the directors.

"Currently, there are six songs in total," she said.

Text appeared on the large screen.

"Since we cannot contact this streamer Brother Shiguang, we can only select keywords from his lyrics to serve as the song titles."

"The directors can now see."

"The names of these six songs."

On the large screen.

They were "Just Once," "Suddenly Miss You," "Stranded," "Long Time No See," "With You," and "As Wished."

"The last one, 'As Wished,' is the song he sang not long ago."

"But due to streaming issues at the time, we currently do not have a complete version of this song."

"However, our music staff has already begun working backwards from the lyrics and recurring melody of 'As Wished' to reconstruct the first third; this work will be completed very soon."

"Six songs are actually enough," someone said.

Fang Lan nodded. "True, but if we plan to hold a Cloud Fanchang Society event, the quantity is still too small."

"We hope to collect more of his songs, so that we can release a full album to the market."

"This idea is certainly good, but," a director paused, "I heard that Douyin previously took the lead, promoting one of Brother Shiguang's songs on their platform."

"It was 'Long Time No See,' yes," Fang Lan nodded.

"So," that director smiled, "I was just thinking that since we are doing this, we cannot merely consider the album itself; we must also consider speed. Otherwise, if someone else seizes this excellent opportunity first, the loss would be great."

"We have already considered this point and have a corresponding strategy," Fang Lan smiled.

"Oh? Tell us."

"Currently, our Tianyin partner is the Shark platform, because streamer Brother Shiguang was originally a streamer under Shark. At the very beginning, before we made this plan, we first established contact with Shark."

"The Shark side was very interested, so initially, the players were just our two companies."

"However, not long ago, Douyin suddenly intervened. At first, it did catch us somewhat off guard," Fang Lan said, "but once this album is released, it will inevitably cause a huge sensation throughout the entire Dongguo market, and even expand to the entire Chinese music industry market outside Dongguo! There is no doubt about this!"

"So, three days ago, I personally went to Douyin's Shanghai branch."

"You went to negotiate this with them?" Others were somewhat surprised.

Fang Lan smiled and nodded. "I gave them two paths."

"First, if they are unwilling to cooperate, then everyone will go to war against each other. After all, the final copyright revenue belongs to Shark and Mr. Shiguang; this is unquestionable under the law."

"But in that case, we Tianyin will join forces with Shark. With our Tianyin's resources and energy ranking in the top three of the Dongguo music industry, and the Shark platform ranking in the top five of Dongguo's short-video live-streaming platforms, combining our two strengths to complement each other while focusing on music itself, the scale of that energy and resources is something they cannot fail to understand."

"And Douyin's strength lies in short videos and traffic; the music field is unfamiliar territory for them."

"Although they can rely on pouring in traffic to build up music, this will inevitably lead to an imbalance in their internal resource allocation."

"Furthermore, I also told them that currently, the capital forces eyeing Brother Shiguang are not limited to just our Tianyin music company."

"But," Fang Lan smiled.

"If they are willing to cooperate."

"Then it will not merely be the alliance of Tianyin and Shark, but also the addition of Douyin, the traffic king! That would be a three-way alliance! Shark, as Mr. Shiguang's former employer, will firmly hold the ground of Mr. Shiguang's live stream room; Tianyin will be responsible for Mr. Shiguang's music aspect; and Douyin will provide the traffic outlet!"

"Once this three-way alliance is formed."

"Throughout the entire Dongguo capital world, it will have no equal; music production, the live-streaming headquarters, and the traffic outlet will all be fully present."

"At that time, it will be a win-win-win situation!"

Fang Lan's voice rang out with conviction.

The Tianyin directors present also nodded in agreement one after another.

Indeed so.

"What was Douyin's response?"

"They listened. They have already reported this to Douyin headquarters. The news I received from within their organization is that Douyin headquarters is very satisfied with this proposal and should have good news very soon."

"We have currently drafted a name for this plan."

"It is called the 'Wings of Time' Plan!"

Thus.

It is indeed tremendous good news.

The three powers join hands to promote Mr. Shiguang together.

We believe that once the "Wings of Time" project launches, the entire landscape of the Dong Kingdom entertainment industry will be shaken and impacted greatly.

The directors of Tianyin, as well as the chairman, were very satisfied with Fang Lan's report.

"However, at present, there is actually still one problem."

"Oh?"

"That is, neither the Shark Platform, nor us, nor Douyin, have been able to contact Mr. Shiguang."

"We once tried to follow the content of his live streams, heading in the corresponding directions to pursue and even intercept him."

"But his live streams are not continuous."

"Often, after one live stream reaches a location and the travel check-in is finished, once he goes offline, by the time he starts broadcasting again, he is already on the road, or even already in another place."

"In short, to catch up with him and find him, unless he stops, it is almost impossible."

Fang Lan spoke, looking at the others.

He slowly exhaled a breath.

"And this will inevitably cause a regret."

"After all, a person with such a voice who can write such perfect songs, yet cannot perform them live, cannot but be called a regret."

"We possess videos of him singing and recordings of his live streams, but these cannot make up for this regret."

"The live version is, after all, still different."

The other directors heard this and understood as well.

"Is this why you, from the very beginning, wanted to make the 'Wings of Time' project into a cloud-based Fanchang Society?" a director said.

"That's right," Fang Lan gave a bitter smile, "I had to take this regret into consideration."

Turning, Fang Lan spoke again.

"So, currently, our Planning Department has a preliminary idea."

"It is to replace Brother Shiguang."

"Replace Brother Shiguang?" Everyone was somewhat surprised.

"Are you joking? These are his songs; how can someone be found to replace him?"

"It is not about finding someone to replace Brother Shiguang."

"It is to let Brother Shiguang," Fang Lan looked at everyone, "replace Brother Shiguang."

"Let Brother Shiguang replace Brother Shiguang??"
