The young man's name was Li Ning, and he was an agent. Both he and Liu Wei were subordinates of Lin Zhong.

After Zhang Zhiqiang sat down, Li Ning briefed him on the mission situation.

"We are to protect an important figure. He is a General."

"A General? Which unit is he from?" Zhang Zhiqiang asked curiously.

"I cannot tell you that," Li Ning said seriously. "However, you can rest assured. Our mission is to ensure his safety. Your task is to coordinate with our operations."

Zhang Zhiqiang nodded: "Understood."

Li Ning continued: "Do you know Blood Wolf?"

Zhang Zhiqiang hesitated: "I have heard of them."

"They are a special forces unit. However, their operations have been restricted. Therefore, they have been seeking an opportunity for revenge. We must prevent them from retaliating."

Zhang Zhiqiang understood: "If you cannot stop their retaliation, then I must protect this General's safety."

"Exactly." Li Ning nodded approvingly. "You are very smart."

Zhang Zhiqiang asked: "So when do we begin operations?"

"Tomorrow morning." Li Ning replied. "Do you have any other questions?"

Zhang Zhiqiang thought for a moment: "I want to know how long this mission will last?"

"That is hard to say. It might last several months, or it might only take a few days."

"Alright. I understand." Zhang Zhiqiang said helplessly. He had already prepared for a long-term battle.

The next morning, Zhang Zhiqiang, Li Ning, and Liu Wei set out together. Their mission was to protect a General's safety. They did not know where the Blood Wolf special forces were, nor when they would launch an attack. However, they had to be prepared. Over the next few days, Zhang Zhiqiang, Li Ning, and Liu Wei protected the General closely. They lived in the same building, remaining vigilant at all times.

He and Li Ning chased after him and finally caught that figure in a corner. After interrogation, this figure was a member of the Blood Wolf special forces.

"Who are you?" Zhang Zhiqiang asked.

"I am from the Blood Wolf special forces," that figure replied. "We seek revenge!"

"Revenge for what?" Zhang Zhiqiang asked curiously.

"Revenge on you!" that figure said disdainfully. "You stole our mission!"

Zhang Zhiqiang and Li Ning returned to the room and reported the situation to Liu Wei.

"It seems these fellows will not give up easily." Liu Wei said. "We must strengthen our vigilance."

Over the next few days, Zhang Zhiqiang, Li Ning, and Liu Wei remained in a state of high alert. They constantly patrolled the hallways, checked every corner, and ensured there was no danger. At the same time, they closely monitored surrounding movements to prevent the Blood Wolf special forces from launching another attack.

"Jianguo! How are you here?" Zhang Zhiqiang asked in surprise.

Wang Jianguo said seriously: "The Blood Wolf special forces have found your hiding place. They plan to launch a full-scale attack at dawn."

"Jianguo, how did you end up here?" Zhang Zhiqiang asked.

Wang Jianguo sighed: "It is a long story. I was previously caught up in a political storm and was forced to leave the army. Later, I heard that General Lin Zhong had formed a special action group, so I came to apply."

Zhang Zhiqiang nodded: "I see."

"Alright, let us not talk about these things." Wang Jianguo changed the subject. "Zhiqiang, what are your plans now?"
