Chapter 28

【Finally, time for singing!】

【What is Ye Zi singing today?】

【Sing us that one by that whoever!】

【I want to hear Ye Zi sing an English song...】

Ye Zi smiled, raised her hand to adjust the microphone, and said, "Today, I will sing two songs for everyone, songs you have never heard before."

"These are also two songs I just stumbled upon online today."

"They are two original songs—but do not misunderstand; your Ye Zi only does covers. What I am singing are songs that have not yet appeared in the market, just released online."

"I cannot confirm whether these are truly original works by that person."

"But I have a feeling that it is very likely these two songs are his originals."

【Ye Zi, stop keeping us in suspense, start already!】

【It is rare to see our Ye Zi so serious...】

【What songs? Whose originals?】

In Ye Zi's live stream room, she cleared her throat lightly.

Holding her phone, on which she had already recorded the lyrics from that streamer, Brother Shiguang.

She began to sing.

Her voice suddenly became different from her usual speaking tone.

It was simply, undeniably, at the level of a professional voice actor!

"One song, from a new streamer on the same platform named Brother Shiguang—for now, let's just call it 'Once Is Enough'."

"Dedicated to Ye Zi's family, love you all~"

After speaking, Ye Zi gently closed her eyes.

For a few seconds, no background music played.

Yet Ye Zi's voice emerged—

"Want to see you smile..."

"Want to make trouble with you..."

Instantly, the 230,000 online viewers and fans in the live stream room were startled.

It was actually a cappella?!

A cappella!

This, throughout the entire singing streamer community, is Ye Zi's ultimate move!

Unless a song is exceptionally good, Ye Zi generally does not use this method!

The audience vaguely remembered the scene from half a year ago when Ye Zi last sang a cappella...

256,000 people came to raid the room, yet he did not even lift his head!

Last time.

Ye Zi sang a cappella.

It was her battle to attain godhood.

At that time, she was in a PK match with someone else.

After losing, the opponent demanded she sing a song a cappella.

That song was originally quite mediocre.

If sung a cappella, insufficient skill would make it appear even more ordinary.

However, after Ye Zi opened her mouth and finished singing.

That very night, the song which had originally received a lukewarm market response.

Immediately went viral!

Even the original singer was stunned.

She forcibly turned a completely ordinary song into a hit through the method of a cappella.

Since then, Ye Zi became famous overnight from that single battle.

Afterward, she firmly secured her position among the top three singing streamers on the Shark Platform.

And she was dubbed the "A Cappella Goddess" by her fans.

But since that time, Ye Zi had never sung a cappella again.

Until now.

She was singing a cappella once more.

This time, it was a cover of a song by a new streamer named Brother Shiguang.

As Ye Zi sang a cappella.

In the live stream room, the danmu comments became increasingly dense.

Packed tight.

Uniformly, only two words:

【So good!】

【So good!】

【So good!】

【So good!】

【So good!】

【...】

"Wow, this song is truly amazing!"

"It's so lyrical!"

"I've never heard it before! Hearing it for the first time and it sounds this good, it really is good!"

The online viewers in Ye Zi's livestream room.

After she started singing this song a cappella, the numbers began to soar directly.

Previously at over two hundred thousand, it quickly reached three hundred thousand, four hundred thousand, five hundred thousand, six hundred thousand!

Ye Zi was singing with her eyes closed.

She really liked this song, so singing it herself, she would originally get lost in it; it was an enjoyment.

When she opened her eyes, she happened to glance at the number of online viewers in her livestream room.

One million three hundred and sixty thousand!

"Wow!" Before "Once Is Enough" was finished, Ye Zi directly let out a scream!

Her eyes widened, staring at this number.

One million three hundred and sixty thousand!

Never, ever had there been this many!

Her fan count was two million, and at this moment, the livestream time was not the evening's prime time.

Even during the evening's prime time, if the number could approach half of the total fan count, that would already be a very good figure.

But now.

It had actually reached one million three hundred and sixty thousand!

The livestream room screen was completely covered by dense bullet comments.

Vaguely, one could make out.

All the bullet comments contained only two words:

"So good!"

Ye Zi raised her hand and covered her lips.

She was not a small streamer who had never seen the world.

And this song, of course, was also very good to listen to.

But...

She still hadn't expected to actually see such a spectacular scene.

"Wow... do you guys have to be so exaggerated?!" Ye Zi directly shouted out.

And right after.
