Chapter 45
The moment he stepped inside.
Ye Zi was startled too.
He'd only been gone a few minutes—how had the situation suddenly turned so chaotic?
In Brother Shiguang's livestream room, an official announcement from the Sharks platform had actually appeared!
Reading the announcement, Ye Zi was utterly dumbfounded.
It turned out…
The purpose of his entire journey here.
Was actually!
To witness a volcanic eruption in person!
Looking at the barrage comments that were now in full-blown meltdown.
Ye Zi suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of worry.
Logically speaking, a streamer who had prepared to livestream a volcanic eruption.
Setting aside how he'd foreseen it in advance.
Should at the very least have made thorough preparations.
But.
For some unknown reason.
Ye Zi suddenly felt that inexplicable worry.
She didn't know this man called Brother Shiguang at all.
But.
She'd only heard his songs and watched his livestreams.
A first impression.
Suddenly made Ye Zi feel.
This man.
Was like…
Like a moth.
The kind of moth that would fling itself into the flames at any moment!
The instant this thought flashed through Ye Zi's mind.
In Brother Shiguang's livestream room.
On the livestream screen.
After finishing that song.
The streamer Brother Shiguang, who had been sitting quietly on top of his RV until now.
Finally rose to his feet.
He reached out and picked up a pile of things that had been beside him.
At this moment, all the viewers realized.
That pile of things.
Was actually something like a raincoat-cape.
The streamer Brother Shiguang began to put the cape on himself.
He put on a pair of sunglasses and a motorcycle helmet.
Slung a black crossbody bag over his shoulder.
His entire body was wrapped in that grey cape.
He climbed down from the RV.
Then, without a second's pause.
He began walking forward.
His special livestream camera, following his advance, began to jolt forward as well.
Seeing his actions on the barrage.
It exploded once again.
【Wow! He's on the move!】
【Didn't the officials say the eruption would be soon? How is he already moving tonight?】
【Does that mean the place he's at right now is Changbai Tianchi?】
【Probably at the foot of the mountain!】
【Can't be sure, but I think it must be!】
【Wonder what angle he'll give us to watch this volcanic eruption?】
As the barrage comments flew.
Did Ning Chen, began walking upward.
Ahead.
Several mountain ridges.
Yes.
This was the destination.
He had arrived here.
The site of a volcanic eruption.
But not recently.
It's tonight!
The million viewers in the livestream all believed.
This streamer named Did Ning Chen had come here to broadcast a volcanic eruption live to the entire internet.
This was already an unprecedented feat.
However…
No one knew.
That he had come here.
In fact, not merely to greet this eruption of Changbai Tianchi.
But even more so!
To witness a miracle never seen before—
Volcanic lightning!
And to witness this miracle.
There was only one way.
And that was, to enter the volcano's interior!
(Begging all you Masters to cast a few votes~).
37. This, is magma!
Changbai Tianchi is oval-shaped.
Originally, it was a volcanic crater lake naturally formed by eruptions.
When the volcano spewed out massive amounts of lava, a basin formed at the crater; over time, under the action of rainwater, snowmelt, and underground spring water, the water accumulated into a lake, forming the present-day Tianchi.
The entire Tianchi lake covers an area of roughly ten square kilometers.
And surrounding it are sixteen peaks.
The sixteen peaks encircle Tianchi, the whole lake like a piece of jade.
September has arrived, the golden autumn season.
Tianchi in golden autumn—its scenery is naturally boundless.
"Sparkling waters shine brightest on a clear day; misty mountains hold their own wonder in rain"—this is exactly what it describes.
Only now, it was night, impossible to see clearly.
An autumn night in the north, the chill is pronounced, and one or two in the early morning even more so.
What Ning Chen was draped in was the reward items obtained earlier.
