Chapter 53

At this moment.

Seeing this blood moon.

Zhang Chengfeng, the veteran expert from the Earthquake Bureau, quickly made a preliminary explanation.

He was speaking about the blood moon from the perspective of a total lunar eclipse.

"This belongs to the red moon phenomenon," the old expert appeared quite calm, after all, he possessed professional knowledge.

"It mainly occurs during a lunar eclipse because the thick atmosphere absorbs violet, blue, green, and yellow light, leaving only red light to penetrate through, so the red moon appears only during a total lunar eclipse."

"Of course, the blood moon is rare to see, after all, a total lunar eclipse is itself a rare sight."

"So, the matter—the problem lies with the total lunar eclipse."

As Old Expert Zhang Chengfeng spoke, his gaze never left that red moon on the live broadcast screen.

"But, tonight, no total lunar eclipse occurred."

"Could the appearance of this red moon phenomenon be related to the volcanic eruption?"

Saying this.

A staff member suddenly said:

"Director, CCTV has already broadcast the footage; it is currently airing, directly interrupting the midnight news."

Everyone was stunned.

CCTV's speed is quite fast!

"Has our official draft come out?" the big leader asked.

"A press release has already been issued," the staff member said, "but a detailed report must wait until tonight's event is completely over."

The big leader nodded.

After all, this is the official department for earthquakes and geology.

Let alone CCTV.

They shouldn't be slower than those media outlets online, right?

But at this moment, it seems their official department is indeed half a step behind.

Because they were also following this streamer's live broadcast.

Thinking that news in this regard was first exploded by self-media rather than being released by them first.

The big leader felt displeased.

After all, this is a matter of face.

Old Expert Zhang Chengfeng, with one hand on his forehead, was still pondering this matter.

To be honest.

With his theoretical knowledge.

He currently cannot determine if the volcanic eruption is related to the red moon.

After all, there has never been any experience in this regard before.

But what is seen before the eyes is indeed a fact.

But it is not a red moon occurring during a total lunar eclipse.

It is indeed a volcanic eruption, the red moon behind the mushroom cloud!

Suddenly!

Old Expert Zhang Chengfeng's eyes lit up!

"Ah... I've figured it out!"

"What?" Everyone was stunned again.

"Quick! Quick! Do we have someone in this live room?!"

"There has always been someone there, what's wrong?"

"Press release—let the official Shark Platform release it! I've figured it out! According to what I say, in the name of the official Geology Bureau, ask Shark official to help post an announcement in this live room!"

"Okay, okay—what exactly is the situation?" the big leader asked with a confused face.

But the person in front was, after all, one of the top two veteran experts in the bureau.

His words carried great weight.

Old Expert Zhang Chengfeng coughed, his face filled with joy; he believed that this time, the Geology Bureau side could take the lead!

Just now, he suddenly realized.

What content the streamer named Brother Shiguang was here to broadcast tonight!

Not just a volcanic eruption!

Nor just this red moon before the eyes!

But what comes next!

And he, as the representative of the Geology Bureau, finally understood!

Once understood, he could release this news before this streamer!

This way, at least they could win back a round for the earthquake and geology department!

After all, before, the National Astronomical Observatory lost face because a meteor shower and fireball—let alone the legendary Nine Stars Conjunction prophecy! —was live-streamed first by this streamer Brother Shiguang!

Becoming the laughingstock of the entire internet!

The entire internet was saying that the prestigious Astronomical Observatory was not even as good as a travel streamer...

And now, a volcanic eruption, such a huge event, was again live-streamed first by this streamer.

The red moon, he took a step ahead again!

But now, Zhang Chengfeng already knows, this is not over yet!

This streamer is here for what comes next!

"Old Zhang, dictate your words; the Shark Platform will display them directly as an announcement. The number of viewers in this live room is already nearly... one point seven million!" the high-ranking official said, gazing eagerly at Zhang Chengfeng.

Zhang Chengfeng nodded and began to speak:

【Dear audience, this is the Northeast Earthquake and Geological Monitoring Bureau. The red moon phenomenon you are seeing now is extremely rare. Under normal circumstances, a red moon appears only during a total lunar eclipse, because the thick atmosphere absorbs violet, blue, green, and yellow light, leaving only red light to pass through, thus forming the red moon phenomenon.】

【But there is no total lunar eclipse tonight. However, although there is no total lunar eclipse.】

【The condition for the red moon's formation—a thick atmosphere—is met, because the Changbai Tianchi volcano on Changbai Mountain is erupting now, with massive amounts of steam and thick smoke rising, creating the thick atmosphere condition. Therefore, it can still absorb violet, blue, green, and other lights, leaving only red to penetrate.】

【And this is the reason the red moon formed!】

【But, dear audience, do you think that is all?】

【What you are about to see next is not just the red moon!】

【There is an even more miraculous spectacle—the moonbow!】

【A rainbow beneath the moon!】

【Believe this! Even this streamer never expected it, right?】

42. So, he came tonight to undergo his tribulation...

In the night sky.

Behind that giant mushroom cloud.

That crescent red moon.

Ning Chen saw it.

But.

On his face, there was no special expression.

No surprise, no joy, no horror.

If an ordinary person saw a crescent red moon hanging above a mushroom cloud.

They would surely feel goosebumps all over.

But, for Ning Chen.

A red moon?

He had never thought of it.

Nor had he ever expected it.

So, although he saw it now.

What did it have to do with him?

What he wanted was not a red moon at all.
