Chapter 90

Suddenly, he understood this.

Chen Xu's heart suddenly felt much less pressure.

He suddenly wasn't so worried about other platforms snatching people away because of this.

He was just gratified.

Fortunately, this eccentric fellow.

Chose the Shark Platform for his first live stream.

Just put down the phone.

Chen Xu's phone rang again.

He picked it up, took a look, and was stunned.

It was actually the Princess of the Shark Platform...

The daughter of the Shark boss.

Lan Ying.

Secretly called the "Shark Princess" by everyone.

He was just a small business manager; what matter could possibly trouble this Princess to call personally...

He quickly answered.

Before he could even speak.

A cold woman's voice came from the other end of the phone:

"Chen Xu, which department does that streamer Brother Shiguang belong to now?"

"Oh, it's like this, Young Lady Lan. Brother Shiguang is currently under the jurisdiction of Live Streaming Group Six, which reports directly to me."

"Oh, good. Starting today," the cold woman's voice on the other end said calmly, "separate streamer Brother Shiguang from the Live Streaming Group. I will manage him personally."

Hearing this, Chen Xu trembled all over.

67. (5/7) The Shark Princess Enters Brother Shiguang's World for the First Time (Requesting Monthly Tickets and Self-Subscriptions)

"Young Lady Lan, are you saying you want to manage this streamer personally?" Chen Xu asked in surprise.

"That's right." The cold woman's voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Over at Douyin, a short video has appeared showing streamer Brother Shiguang singing at a certain bar in Jincheng last night. They have been aggressively pushing it since last night; the current data is terrifying..."

"I know. Otherwise, why do you think I called you?"

"Yes..."

"Short videos are indeed Douyin's strength, but if we let them snatch people from our Shark Platform, it will cause extremely serious negative repercussions."

"Yes..."

"You people need to be more alert in the future." The woman's tone sounded calm, yet it carried an undeniable sense that she could not be offended or questioned.

"Yes..."

The phone was hung up.

It was clear.

This Shark Princess was very unhappy about the current situation.

Chen Xu was also scratching his head.

Then, he picked up the phone on the desk again to issue instructions to his subordinates.

Chujiang City.

The Shark Headquarters Building.

Because her father was ill.

Therefore, during this period, Lan Ying, the daughter of the Shark Chairman, was fully acting in his place.

Having just finished a major meeting, Lan Ying returned to her office.

In the morning.

When the secretary was reporting on work, she mentioned this matter to her.

This matter made her somewhat angry.

It wasn't because a streamer was that important to Shark.

After all, the Shark Platform had the most top-tier streamers on the entire network.

And reportedly, this streamer named Brother Shiguang, from what has been seen so far, is still just considered a newcomer who has only been in the industry for a little over half a month.

But Douyin actually used this method.

To push traffic for a streamer from the Shark Platform.

This was clearly an attempt to humiliate Shark.

Historically, there have been many confrontations between Douyu and Shark.

They have always been evenly matched, trading blows.

But this time, Douyu actually reached into Shark's streamers.

Even if they wanted to snatch people, it should have been through the official streamer trading procedures.

But doing such underhanded tricks behind the scenes was excessive.

That streamer Brother Shiguang, Lan Ying had also heard about recently.

He was a travel streamer.

Previously, he predicted the Perseid meteor shower.

Later, he also live-streamed the volcanic eruption and volcanic lightning of Changbai Mountain.

At that time, Shark had also made a special promotion for it.

But alas, the live-streaming business could only go viral within Shark itself, unlike short videos, which spread so easily beyond their circles.

So, what went viral was mostly that meteor shower and the volcanic lightning.

Not this streamer on Shark.

Speaking of which, this streamer.

Apart from that, it was just singing.

Just how good was the singing that it even stirred up Douyin?

Thinking thus.

The secretary brought in the coffee.

While drinking the coffee, Lan Ying.

Picked up her phone.

Found that streamer's account on the Shark platform.

But Brother Shiguang's live room was not yet open.

Lan Ying picked up the phone on the desk and instructed the secretary to retrieve Brother Shiguang's past live-streaming content from the backend and bring it to her.

A while later.

The secretary entered with a USB drive.

"Young Lady Lan, the item you requested."

Lan Ying raised her hand, inserted the USB drive, casually clicked on one piece of content, and continued drinking her coffee.

In the video footage.

A recreational vehicle.

A silent streamer.

Very young and very handsome.

His family background must have been good; otherwise, he couldn't afford such an RV.

However, what kind of successful person had Lan Ying not seen? She was used to it, so she merely smiled faintly, continued drinking her coffee, and scanned the screen with her eyes.

As a result, she finished the entire cup of coffee.

That streamer in the footage.

Still had not spoken a single word.

He had just been driving.

Hmm...

Lan Ying had no patience; she closed the video and scanned the contents of the USB drive.

She saw several marked items.
