"Discard Z-Metal Tracks. Monster effect activated: Change Disruptor Green to Attack Position!"

"Oh my god!!" The one-eyed monster with its long tongue, originally crouched on the field, tongue lolling, froze as VW's cannon aimed at it, trembling violently as it clenched its fists to muster courage.

"Hahaha, Jun, looks like this is over!" Beside him, Chang Zuo burst into laughter.

Wan Wan Zhangmu had stubbornly held on for over a dozen turns using nothing but monsters with 0 Attack. Though he never once attacked, he'd clung on this long, causing deep anxiety in this complete novice who didn't understand dueling.

It noticed Tenjo Hikari walking into the audience crowd. A stream of data flashed in its eyes—it recognized him as the duelist who had rescued the Alliance residents—but it did not alter its demeanor, continuing to fixate on Wan Wan Zhangmu.

"But relentless defense only drains your strength," it clenched its fist with a crack, "If you never launch an offensive until the very end, I will never recognize you as a true duelist."

What X-Leader Cannon loved—only one thing: Strong Attack!

"Hmph, direct attack? Perfect—I love Strong Attack too!" Wan Wan Zhangmu roared.

"Zzz… End Phase."

He glanced at the card he drew.

"I Normal Summon Disruptor Yellow in Attack Position!"

Disruptor Yellow, Level 2, Light Attribute, Beast, 0 Attack.

"At this point, you choose Attack Position? Jun, you've given up," Chang Zuo laughed. "Maybe you should wear this monster's outfit and become an Entertainment Duelist—you might even go viral."

"Big Brother Chang, watch closely!" Lightning's eyes blazed like fire. "No such thing as impossible for a duelist!"

"When Disruptor Yellow, Disruptor Green, and Disruptor Black gather on the field, something extraordinary happens!" He dramatically revealed a card from his hand. "I activate the Spell Card: Disruptor Triangular Hurricane!

Only when all three of these trash monsters are on my field. Destroy all cards on your field!"

"What?!" Chang Zuo's eyes widened. "Those trash monsters have hidden power like that?!"

"Go, Disruptors!"

"Yes, Brother!" The three Disruptor monsters leapt together, merging into a storm that swept across the field, destroying every card on X-Leader Cannon's side.

"Your Disruptor Tokens were summoned by my trap—Disruptor Trio. When each Token is destroyed, you take 300 life point damage—that's 900 total!"

X-Leader Cannon LP: 3500 → 2600.

"But even so, does this even matter?" A student voiced his doubt.

"After all… Disruptors have 0 Attack…"

As if sensing their thoughts, Wan Wan Zhangmu roared: "Naive! I change Disruptor Black to Attack Position, then activate the Spell Card: Right Shield, Left Sword!

When this card activates, all face-up monsters on the field swap their Attack and Defense!"

Disruptor Yellow, Disruptor Green, Disruptor Black—all had 1000 Defense. Meaning their Attack now became—1000 each!

The three monsters surged in unison, their small bodies exploding with muscle half their size.

"Ah?!" Chang Zuo stood frozen in shock.

"I see! Genius! Wan Wan Zhangmu—you only needed Attack! You didn't need Defense! Just swap them!"

"Incredible! This guy—Wan Wan Zhangmu—isn't just hype!"

As if reading their minds again, Wan Wan Zhangmu shouted:

"It's—"

"Ten!"

"Hundred!"

"Thousand—"

"Wan Wan Zhangmu Lightning!!" All students watching the duel shouted his slogan in unison.

Wan Wan Zhangmu raised his hand, pointing forward: "Disruptors, attack X-Leader Cannon!"

Beautiful!

Tenjo Hikari was the first to clap.

This duel was far harder than the one he'd fought against Chang Zuo in the original story!

"Huh…" After the duel ended, X-Leader Cannon played a cheerful tune—clearly, it was delighted with the final battle.

Destroying all cards and attacking directly—that was the charm of Strong Attack!

Wan Wan Zhangmu exhaled in relief.

The duel between Lord Lord Ba Wang and Lord Lord Zhai Wang yesterday was a bit disappointing—Lord Lord Ba Wang didn't use Super Fusion, and Lord Lord Zhai Wang didn't shout "Za Warudo." What a shame.

But Lord Lord Zhai Wang joined the Fusion Dimension too—will GX duels now all involve Contact Fusion or Card-Eating Fusion from now on?
