Chapter 311

"My turn!"

The Empress drew a card suddenly, then directly slapped a card onto the Duel Disk transformed from her great sword: "When there are no monsters on my field or only Amazoness monsters, my most loyal Warrior Chief can be Special Summoned!"

"Drink!"

Chieftain... Amazoness Warrior Chief carried her spear and jumped onto the battlefield.

Amazoness Warrior Chief, Level 5, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 1900.

"A more convenient way to appear than Cyber Dragon!" Daichi Misawa exclaimed.

I super—

Hikari Tenjou exclaimed in his heart.

It's a Top!

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! game, there is a special term, which is "Top," referring to the Speedroid Terrortop used by Yugo, whose biggest feature is that it can be Special Summoned directly to the field without a Normal Summon when there are no monsters or specific monsters on the field.

Of course, this is only the "first layer" ability; if one could call oneself a "Top" just by Special Summoning, that would be an insult to the name of Top. Its biggest feature lies in the second point, which is—when Summoned/Special Summoned successfully, one can directly search for cards from the deck!

"When Amazoness Warrior Chief is Summoned/Special Summoned successfully. I can select 1 【Amazoness】 Spell/Trap card or 1 【Fusion】 from the deck and cover it on the field! The turn this effect is activated, one cannot attack unless it's an Amazoness monster."

"Ah?" Gloria exclaimed when she heard this effect.

This is much more convenient than Spiritualist!

And it can also cooperate with Spiritualist to recycle and use it next turn!

"I cover Fusion from the deck on the field."

"Then... heh, Normal Summon, Princess."

A small, robust girl with refreshing short white hair, waving a spear, laughed and stood on the field.

"Wow!" Misawa couldn't help but exclaim.

Daichi Misawa's taste is... loli and muscular fierce woman.

And this little loli combines both.

But with the person he admired nearby, he just exclaimed.

Amazoness Princess, Level 3, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 1200.

"Princess is treated as 【Amazoness Queen】 while on the field/graveyard."

"Eh?" The people around realized the problem.

"In this way, one has also gathered Fusion, Amazoness monster, and Amazoness Queen?"

"Eh, that Empress, wants to Fusion Summon herself, right?"

"Ha, saying it so powerfully, isn't it the same choice as the Tyler sisters?"

Several Fusion Army members couldn't help but laugh.

Gloria put her hands on her hips, clenched her right fist in front of her: "Are you wanting to Fusion Summon yourself? Bring it on, I won't be afraid!"

"Heh, not so early—Amazoness Princess's effect: when this card is Summoned/Special Summoned successfully, add 1 【Amazoness】 Spell/Trap card from the deck to the hand."

What?!

These two monsters, didn't they just earn this for free?

How can they be so strong?

"Surprised?" Amazoness Empress looked at the surprised gazes around and gently tapped her badge. "Forgot to say, I am a special duelist, 10-star level."

10-star level!

All the humans around exclaimed in surprise.

In a 4-star camp, how is there a 10-star hidden here!

"Amazoness Princess's effect, add 1 Amazoness Spell/Trap from the deck to the hand."

She picked up her deck, searched for a bit, took one out, showed it to all the audience, and then put the deck back into the sword-shaped Duel Disk, automatically shuffling it.

"Hmm, that's about it." The Empress tapped the cards in her hand and looked at the opposite side. "When I am on the field, I can protect Amazoness cards from being destroyed. You are thinking, even if I Fusion Summon myself, I can only watch, right?"

Gloria frowned.

Although she didn't say it, she was indeed thinking that.

Same ATK, same effect, and also won't be destroyed by battle or effects; then even if she is fused out, there's no need to worry.

"Too naive!! Amazoness must not only possess passion but also wisdom, otherwise how can one survive among beasts and disasters—activate the spell card just added to the hand!

Amazoness Soul Resurrection!"

"Oh no!" Daichi Misawa exclaimed when he saw this card.

He clearly recognized this card.

Of course—

As Amazoness deck users, the Tyler sisters also immediately recognized this card.

"When there is an 【Amazoness】 on your field, select 1 Fusion Monster on the opponent's field and return it to the Extra Deck. Then Special Summon a set of materials used for the Fusion Summon from the opponent's graveyard!"

The Empress's figure gradually dissipated on Gloria's field; Gloria gritted her teeth but couldn't stop it, only able to watch the Empress gradually dissipate.

"Heh, in this way, the fake Empress is gone."

At the same time, two blue-haired female warriors also appeared on Gloria's field.

Amazoness Queen, Level 6, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 2400.

Amazoness Spiritualist, Level 2, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, DEF 1800.

"Tsk... when Spiritualist is successfully Special Summoned, one can add 【Fusion】 from the deck to the hand." Gloria helplessly added the second Fusion from the deck to her hand.

If she could, she would really like to give this extra Fusion card to Hikari Tenjou.

But she could only hold it in her hand and watch.

Hikari Tenjou stroked his chin, thinking about the card Soul Resurrection.

This is a card that only exists in the original work and hasn't been OCG-ified; if he remembered correctly, Tania should have used it.

In the end, it's actually a Normal Spell version of "De-Fusion," but because it has an "Amazoness" field, this card can be searched by Amazoness effects. To some extent, the Amazoness in this world carrying this card is still useful. After all, humans in this world, no matter what, even if the Fusion Army makes a bigger commotion, they will inevitably use Fusion.

Otherwise, drawing cards and Tribute Summoning is really hard to fight against spirit and other dimensional duelists.

"However, even if it's Amazoness Queen, she can protect Amazoness monsters on the field from being destroyed!" Gloria was calm, not minding at all that her trump card monster was easily resolved, and waved her right hand, staring at the Empress.

"Oh? But, don't forget, battle damage still has to be endured!" The Empress opened the Normal Spell card covered by the Warrior Chief.

Normal Spell cards can be used immediately the turn they are covered!

"Normal Spell Card, Fusion!"

"Fuse Amazoness Princess on the field and Amazoness Warrior Chief on the field!"

"Successor of glory, strongest warrior, now, become a brand new blade, tear apart the rainforest!"

"Fusion Summon myself!"

"Amazoness Empress!"

She waved the Duel Disk great sword on her right hand, jumped suddenly, and stood on the field.

Amazoness Empress, Level 8, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 2800.

"Heh, I want to attack Amazoness Spiritualist!" She waved the Duel Disk great sword on her right hand and rushed forward, slashing at Spiritualist.

Because of the existence of Amazoness Queen, the monsters on Gloria's field won't be destroyed by battle, but—after slashing this blow, the Empress changed direction and rushed straight toward Gloria.

"Sister Gloria!" Grace was a bit flustered.

"Don't worry! Grace!" Gloria faced the Empress directly, without the slightest cowardice, waving her left sword-shaped Duel Disk and colliding with the Empress's great sword.

Bang—

Gloria's body retreated backward, but she gritted her teeth without the slightest fear.

Gloria & Hikari Tenjou, LP: 8000→7000.

"Heh, nice guts—when I am on the field, Amazoness monsters attacking defensive monsters deal piercing damage, you should know that, right?"

"Hmph, I knew that long ago!" Gloria pushed the Empress away with force; the Empress spun and landed back on the field.

"Then, I activate the covered card!" The strong-willed Gloria saw the opponent retreat and immediately opened the covered card, then turned to look at Hikari Tenjou, "Hikari Tenjou, don't think I'll drag you down!

I won't let you bear the cost of losing life points at the start!

Continuous Trap Card, Amazoness Hot Spring!

When there is an "Amazoness" monster on your field and you take battle damage, you can activate this. Recover LP equal to the damage taken."

Hikari Tenjou felt a warm force wrap around him; on their side, a large amount of heat seemed to emerge, supplementing their physical strength, and then his life points also began to recover.

Gloria & Hikari Tenjou, LP: 7000→8000.

"Oh ho? Not bad." The Empress saw this scene, not angry but quite satisfied. "I thought you only had courage."

She flipped through the cards in her hand: "Cover two cards, turn end."

Almost the same opening.

But anyone could see that in a one-on-one duel, Gloria was clearly suppressed by Amazoness Empress!

Same deck, but completely different spirit and result!

However—

This isn't a 1v1!

Next, it's Hikari Tenjou's turn!

"My turn." Hikari Tenjou drew a card unhurriedly.

10-star Amazoness warrior...
