Chapter 315

Gloria carefully began to check the cards in the graveyard.

Hikari Tenjou only covered one card, which was "Resh Shaddoll Incarnation," so if there was any card that could help her, it would definitely be in the graveyard.

Not only that, he also retained his "Monster Reborn"...

She checked carefully for a while, then suddenly narrowed her eyes and found the card Hikari Tenjou had used in the graveyard.

So it was this card.

Her eyes lit up.

"Open covered card, Monster Reborn!"

Gloria waved her right hand, like a female general, directing the card to flip open: "This card can revive one monster in the graveyard."

"Su Sheng a monster in the graveyard? Who do you want to revive?" The Empress was curious, "Could it be you want to revive my Warrior Chief? Or, you want to revive your teammate's Construct?

Heh, no matter which one, it's useless!"

The Empress confidently stabbed her great sword into the ground.

After all, she still had Curse Mirror on her field.

Even if the opponent fuses the fake Empress again, the ATK is only the same as hers.

Endurance battle?

Heh—

She wanted to resolve the opponent in her turn and absolutely couldn't let the other party drag it to the next turn of that warrior called Hikari Tenjou.

Now it seems that human warrior is indeed worthy of his reputation; no wonder he was trusted so much by Daichi Misawa, no wonder the humans around would cheer for his appearance—however, this is a tag duel.

She would end the battle in her turn!

"Hmph, neither!" Just when the Empress thought Gloria was at her wit's end, Gloria picked up a card from the graveyard and slapped it on the field, "I choose this one—

Special Summon in defense position.

Qadshaddoll Keios!"

What the—

Under everyone's surprised gaze, an ancient warrior covered in arrows and wearing armor revived from the graveyard, and after it stood up, everyone was surprised to find that a huge mouth replaced its abdomen!

Qadshaddoll Keios, Level 5, Light Attribute, Warrior-Type, DEF 2100.

"Eh? What time was that card?"

"Strange, the Tyler sisters' deck doesn't have that kind of card, right?"

"Hikari Tenjou's card?"

"When?"

The Empress was stunned for a while, then suddenly remembered: "It's the fusion material for Shaddoll Fusion!"

"That's right!" Gloria grinned.

"So it's Hikari Tenjou's card..."

"Didn't expect the captain to use Hikari Tenjou's card."

"Why say those things at this time!"

Some Hikari Tenjou fans hidden within the Fusion Army seized the opportunity and shouted: "Since it's Hikari Tenjou's card, then it must—"

"Ha, Qadshaddoll Keios, when successfully Special Summoned, can activate by paying 500 life points! Send the fusion materials decided by the Warrior-Type Fusion Monster from your hand/field to the graveyard, and Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster!"

"Sure enough, it's Fusion!!"

"It's monster fusion!"

Everyone present understood.

Gloria & Hikari Tenjou, LP: 5200→4700.

"Send Spiritualist and Queen on the field to the graveyard, Fusion Summon!"

"Amazoness Empress!"

Amazoness Empress, Level 8, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 2800.

"Tsk..." Amazoness Empress saw another version of herself summoned and couldn't help but snort unhappily.

"Normal Summon, Amazoness Swords Woman." Gloria didn't stop.

Amazoness Swords Woman, Level 4, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 1500.

"Battle! Amazoness Empress attacks Magical Scientist—"

She didn't hesitate, hurriedly trying to get rid of that dangerous monster.

"Amazoness Curse Mirror, once per turn, makes battle damage 0." The Empress snorted.

"Then how do you block this! Amazoness Swords Woman attacks Amazoness Empress—you should know its effect!"

"Tsk... the damage taken by Swords Woman in battle is borne by the opponent."

Empress & Mathematician, LP: 5000→3700

"End battle, activate Spiritualist's effect in the graveyard, return Amazoness Swords Woman on the field to the hand, Special Summon this card in defense position."

Amazoness Spiritualist, Level 2, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, DEF 1800.

"Cover two cards, turn end!"

"By the way, speaking of which, Fusion Recycling Plant's effect, during the End Phase, recycle one fusion material used for fusion this turn, return Queen to the hand."

She looked at the field and nodded with satisfaction.

She forgot this effect when she was thinking before; at that time, she didn't think about these things in her mind at all, because she always felt Hikari Tenjou wouldn't cooperate with her.

Now it seems, she was still narrow-minded.

"... Magician, activate your covered card."

"Oh? Ho ho ho, alright." Hearing the Empress's words, the Mathematician wouldn't refuse.

He was just a guest, so since the host here wanted to use it, let it be.

"Trap Card, Skill Successor. Increase the ATK of 1 face-up monster on the field by 400 until the end of the turn."

"Looks like they want to decide the winner." The surrounding audience saw it.

Daichi Misawa also explained appropriately: "Skill Successor can increase the ATK of a face-up monster on the field by 400 the turn it is activated, but its more powerful point lies in banishing itself from the graveyard to increase the ATK of 1 monster on the field by 800—of course, these two effects cannot be activated at the same time; the effect in the graveyard can only be used on a turn it wasn't sent to the graveyard."

Gloria looked at the opponent vigilantly.

Wanting to decide the winner this turn?

Not that simple!

"My turn, draw card." The Empress drew a card, glanced at the drawn card, and sneered.

"Covered two cards, right? Don't know what kind of defensive cards they are, but—as long as there is this, it's enough.

Normal Summon, Amazoness Sage."

Amazoness Sage, Level 4, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 1400.

Gloria raised her eyebrows slightly.

When Amazoness Sage attacks, one can destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on the field at the end of the Damage Step.

The guy who breaks traps.

And because the Empress is on the field, there's no need to worry about being destroyed.

"Battle!" The Empress waved her hand, pointing to the opposite side, "I want to attack that Spiritualist who actually dared to resist me!"

"Before that, look at this!" Gloria sneered, flipping open the covered card, "Quick-Play Spell Card Rush, activate by selecting 1 monster on the field. That monster's ATK increases by 700 until the end of the turn—I choose your Amazoness Empress!"

"Oh? This meaning?" Amazoness Empress immediately realized what Gloria was going to do, "Rescue, right?"

"That's right!" Gloria opened the covered card at the same time, "Trap Card Rescue!"

Activate when a card targeting an 【Amazoness】 monster on the field is activated. The targeted monster card returns to the hand, and 1 other monster is Special Summoned from the hand.

"Heh, can't be destroyed, so use other means to resolve it; I admit, this kind of chain of yours can effectively deal with me, and can also Special Summon monsters, supplementing the field; if it passes, it will directly reverse the field. So, as a warrior using an Amazoness deck, your wisdom is already qualified... but! I am the Amazoness King!"

The Empress suddenly brushed a card from her hand: "Quick-Play Spell Card! Amazoness Secret Arts!"

"Send the fusion materials decided by the 【Amazoness】 Fusion Monster from your hand/field to the graveyard, and Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster!"

The Empress laughed wildly: "Haven't been this passionate for a long time!

You two, not bad—but, my power is far from this!!

Let you see the brand new power I possess after training in the critical point dimension!

Fuse me and Sage on the field!"

Her cloak fluttered in the wind, the animal bones used for decoration began to grow, and a huge metal throne like a halo slowly stood on her field.

In her eyes, blood-colored light flowed, and she grinned: "The fusion condition is, Amazoness Fusion Monster and Amazoness monster!"

"Fusion Summon—

My full-power posture!"

"Amazoness Empress Queen!"

Amazoness Empress Queen, Level 10, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 3200!

"Ah?"

"Empress, can still fuse and evolve?" Grace was surprised.

She hadn't seen it either.

Gloria frowned, looking at the opponent solemnly.

Because all the cards lost their targets, the two cards she activated lost their effects.

Empress Queen gently shook her hands: "When I am successfully Fusion Summoned. I can Special Summon any Amazoness monster from the deck."

"Use the monster you used to attack me before—come on, Swords Woman, come to my side."

"Yes!"

The brave female swordsman appeared beside her.

Amazoness Swords Woman, Level 4, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 1500.

"Skill Successor's effect in the graveyard, increase my ATK by 800."

Amazoness Empress Queen, ATK: 3200→4000.

Empress Queen moved her neck with her right hand.

"Using Empress or Queen as fusion material to Fusion Summon me, one can attack twice in one Battle Phase."

"Ah? 4000 ATK double attack!?"

"Hiss—what's going on, they are all aimed at killing the opponent in seconds!"

Empress Queen looked at the opponent, but she found that Gloria didn't seem nervous.

Oh?

Even more courageous than before?

She actually quite appreciated Gloria; if Gloria won, she might be willing to give her a share of her power.

But, now it seems, it doesn't seem possible.

She waved her huge great sword, rushed toward the opponent's Empress, and slashed.

Gloria & Hikari Tenjou, LP: 4700→3500.

Followed by the second slash—

Gloria & Hikari Tenjou, LP: 3500→2300.

Then, she flew in front of Gloria, kicked her onto the target with one foot, making a bang sound, not knowing how many targets were smashed.

However—

What made her puzzled was, why wasn't the other party afraid?

"It seems you only increased your strength, not your technique." After enduring the double attack, Gloria laughed out loud.

"?"

Gloria wiped the corner of her mouth, the fanaticism and excitement on her face not dissipating at all, "Don't underestimate people too much, old woman—"

"What???" The Empress was stunned.

Gloria returned to her position, stepped on the rubble, and pointed her right hand at Hikari Tenjou: "You think what kind of person this guy beside me is?"

"He is the guy we Fusion Army have never been able to defeat, the one who dared to say the slogan even when everyone was hostile to Fusion, the one who claims to understand all Fusion—"

She opened the graveyard, took out a card from it, and showed it to the opponent.

Empress Queen's eyes widened.

Amazoness Secret Arts!!!?

This is—

This is the card discarded by Fusion Recycling Plant's effect!?

The second effect of this card clearly wrote that this card is in the graveyard, and when an Amazoness monster fuses, one can use monsters from the Extra Deck to fuse—why go through so much trouble?

The answer is obvious, the continued fusion of Fusion Monsters!

"Ha, Hikari Tenjou knew long ago that you had a more advanced form, but he didn't stop me." Gloria grinned, "Instead, he recognized my strategy!"

"If I'm not mistaken, although your current form is stronger, but—you don't have the piercing effect on the whole field! Right!

Otherwise, the damage caused by attacking Qadshaddoll Keios and Spiritualist would be higher!"

"... Tsk." Empress Queen had to admit.

She underestimated the opponent!

That's right, her current posture increased extraordinary brute force, but in terms of "technique," it was reduced; not only could she not protect the Amazoness monsters on the field, she couldn't even pierce the enemy!

"Amazoness Swords Woman attacks Qadshaddoll Keios."

Gloria & Hikari Tenjou, LP: 2300→1700.

"Oh? It seems that even the ability to protect teammates is gone."

Thinking deeply, there are points that became stronger, and points that were weakened.

So that's it.

Gloria recalled the covered card of Empress Queen that Hikari Tenjou destroyed.

Call of the Haunted.

It was originally used to revive the Empress, right? That way, there would be piercing and double attack abilities.

She looked at the hand cards.

She also drew Amazoness Hot Spring.

Her own ATK is 3200, and with Hot Spring and Curse Mirror, plus the remaining 3700 life points, it's not that easy to be defeated.

And, the opponent's life points are not much left; with Amazoness Swords Woman on the field, the other party shouldn't dare to attack easily!

For some reason, Empress Queen, who originally just wanted to test, is now very eager to win!

It's already reached this point, can't just lose casually!

"Cover a card, turn end!"

"It's up to you, Hikari Tenjou!" Gloria looked up, "Don't let us down!"

Hikari Tenjou shook his head with a light smile.

"Draw card."

He looked at the hand cards.

Didn't draw the card he wanted.

"Fusion Recycling Plant's effect, discard a card, add 1 【Fusion】 from the deck to the hand."

Hikari Tenjou discarded the Substitute Fusion in his hand and added Fusion from the deck.

"Substitute Fusion's effect, return El Shaddoll Construct in the graveyard, banish itself, draw a card."

Hikari Tenjou drew a card.

Hmm, right.

"Normal Summon, Predaplant Sundew Kingii!"

Different from Shaddoll Lizard, this is a living plant lizard covered in plants.

Predaplant Sundew Kingii, Level 2, Dark Attribute, Plant-Type, ATK 600.

"Sundew Kingii's effect, during the Main Phase, can fuse with monsters in hand/field.

Fuse Predaplant Sundew Kingii and Shaddoll Lizard in my hand."

Hikari Tenjou revealed Shaddoll Lizard.

"It's time to devour everything—"

"Fusion Summon!

Predaplant Chimerafflesia!"

Boom boom, the land began to churn crazily, countless green branches turned in the earth, and a huge pink flower rose from the earth, letting out ten roars.

Predaplant Chimerafflesia, Level 8, Dark Attribute, Plant-Type, ATK 2500.

"Spell Card, Shaddoll Fusion."

"When the opponent has a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, one can use monsters in the deck as fusion materials."

Hikari Tenjou opened the deck and showed two cards from it: "Shaddoll Falcon, Cyber Dragon, come to my side again, El Shaddoll Construct!"

El Shaddoll Construct, Level 8, Light Attribute, Fairy-Type, ATK 2800.

"Tsk..." Empress Queen saw this monster appear and couldn't help but mutter.

This is a bit bad.

The evolved her focuses more on offense and doesn't have the ability to protect herself.

However—

She looked at the field.

It's okay, the opponent doesn't dare to attack Swords Woman.

Survive this turn, as long as the Mathematician uses Magical Scientist's power again, then they can win!

"Strange, why doesn't Hikari use Chimerafflesia's effect to banish the lower-level Amazoness Swords Woman?" Misawa frowned.

That monster is too troublesome.

"When Amazoness Empress Queen is on the field, other Amazoness monsters cannot be selected as targets for effects, so it can't be banished." Hikari Tenjou heard Misawa's words while operating and shook his head lightly.

So that's it!

Daichi Misawa suddenly realized.

"Change all monsters on the field to attack position."

Amazoness Spiritualist, ATK 800; Qadshaddoll Keios, ATK 1000.

"Battle! Chimerafflesia attacks Amazoness Empress Queen!"

"What?!"

"When Chimerafflesia attacks, it can make the opponent's monster's ATK decrease by 1000, and its own ATK increase by 1000!" Misawa explained loudly!

Doesn't that mean a 4500 monster can only die with it!?

"Then I activate the Continuous Trap Card, Amazoness Hot Spring!" Seeing this, Empress Queen immediately flipped open the covered card.

Chimerafflesia, ATK, 2500→3500

Amazoness Empress Queen, ATK, 3200→2200.

Because of Amazoness Hot Spring, it didn't lose life points.

But in this way, Empress Queen's luxurious makeup and throne were destroyed, and it could only helplessly return to the starting position.

"Then, Construct attacks Amazoness Swords Woman—don't battle, directly destroy!"

Countless puppet strings stretched out from the halo, wrapping around the female swordsman, causing it to disappear after a scream.

"There are no Amazoness monsters on your field, Hot Spring won't recover life points!"

"But, I still have Curse Mirror!" Empress Queen didn't give up yet, she still wanted to fight!

"Amazoness Empress attacks directly—"

"Useless, Curse Mirror's effect makes the damage zero!"

In this way, I can rest assured!

"Spiritualist and Keios's ATK total is only 1800, we still have 3700 life points, so—we still have 1900 life points! No matter how you attack, it's useless!" Empress Queen waved her great sword excitedly, "We won!"

Hikari Tenjou raised his eyebrows and silently held up a card from his hand: "Please don't forget, I also recycled this card, Resh Shaddoll Incarnation."

!

Empress Queen's eyes widened.

Quick-Play Fusion—

"Quick-Play Spell Card! Resh Shaddoll Incarnation!"

"Fuse Construct and Chimerafflesia!"

Hikari Tenjou's mouth curled up.

The second Midrash he got earlier was very useful.

"Fusion Summon—that's right, as always!"

"Listen to God's command!"

"God's messenger!"

"El Shaddoll Midrash!"

Swish—

Puppets, flowers, darkness, everything was fused together, and replacing them was that magician who was expressionless as always!

El Shaddoll Midrash, Level 5, Dark Attribute, Spellcaster-Type, ATK 2200!

Empress Queen's eyes widened.

All the recycled cards were used!

This human who fuses...

And Gloria was already laughing: "As expected of you, Hikari Tenjou! Sure enough, as expected of the absolute Fusion user Hikari Tenjou! Hahaha—too interesting!"

"Then, battle continues. Keios, Spiritualist, and Midrash attack directly!"

Empress Queen & Mathematician, LP: 3700→2700→1900→0!
