Chapter 360

"Then. Draw." Tiancheng Guang slowly drew a card.

"Ah." Tiera beside him saw the card Tiancheng Guang drew, and her pupils shrank.

Tiancheng Guang gently picked up the card and placed it on his left side.

"Wow, Tiancheng Guang, if you use this, Fusion the new card you obtained, you should be able to destroy all his monsters!" Although Tiera hadn't dueled many times, she knew Tiancheng Guang's cards very well, and plus her brain turned fast enough, she instantly thought of a chance.

Fusion "Fusion Dragon," using Fusion Dragon's effect to destroy the two monsters on the opponent's field, could indeed solve the situation, but that way, he would have absolutely no resources left.

By then, facing the opponent's powerful search cards and recovery cards, how could he persist?

"I activate the effect of Thunder Dragon in my hand, discard it, and add up to two Thunder Dragons from my deck to my hand. I add 1 Thunder Dragon from my deck to my hand."

Tiancheng Guang opened his deck, added one Thunder Dragon from it to his hand, and immediately activated its effect: "Immediately after, discard the second Thunder Dragon as well, and add the third Thunder Dragon from my deck to my hand."

"Release Denier on the field, Tribute Summon, Thunder Dragon."

Thunder Dragon, Level 5, Light Attribute, Thunder-Type, ATK 1600.

"Then—evolve, the power that symbolizes the future of Fusion!"

"In the turn that a Thunder-Type monster's effect is activated in the hand, Tribute 1 Thunder-Type effect monster on the field other than a Fusion monster, and I can call this Fusion monster directly from the Extra Deck!"

"Descend, Thunder Dragon Colossus!"

Thunder Dragon Colossus, Level 8, Dark Attribute, Thunder-Type, DEF 2400.

"Ha, DEF is only 2400? Ridiculous, this little ATK simply cannot defeat Chaos Ruler."

"Just watch carefully." Tiancheng Guang said calmly.

"I set one card face-down," he slowly folded his hands together, "That's it, end turn."

"What?? Tiancheng Guang, how can you end it just like that!!" Tiera on the side was anxious, "DEF 2400, it can't block anything at all!"

She grabbed Tiancheng Guang's collar and kept shouting: "If you lose, even if it's me, there's no way to forcibly keep your personality!"

"Heh... Just watch." Tiancheng Guang shook his head calmly.

He looked at the Light of Destruction and opened his mouth to say: "Light of Destruction, it's your turn, toss the coin again."

"Cannot understand." The Light of Destruction spoke again, "Could it be that this man miscalculated? Just like this, what kind of courage do you have to say you can defeat Me?

Human, could it be that your power is only this much?"

"Stop joking, Light of Destruction." Tiancheng Guang shook his head, "【Only this much】 is you!"

!?

Tiancheng Guang narrowed his eyes slightly and said: "Light of Destruction, I admit, your cards and your power are far stronger than mine."

Tiancheng Guang had only dueled for a few turns, but he had already felt the heavy pressure.

From the first turn, Tiancheng Guang had used all his strength every turn, whether it was the opening Winda or the subsequent turns, he was going all out.

But even so, he was completely unable to stop the Light of Destruction, unable to stop the Light of Destruction from completing its ideas.

Because the cards of the Light of Destruction were far more powerful than his!

Every card was more modernized than Tiancheng Guang's!

But—

Precisely because of this, Tiancheng Guang suddenly noticed something wrong during the duel.

"Powerful cards can indeed bring victory, but no matter how powerful the cards are, they still need the user to operate them!"

Otherwise, there would be abstract scenes like the chain of Branded Fusion and Allure of Darkness, then discarding all cards in hand.

"The Sartorius you control is not the real Sartorius. The real Sartorius possesses the luck favored by fate; he absolutely doesn't need a card like Light Barrier!" Tiancheng Guang pointed at Light Barrier, exposing the flaws of the Light of Destruction.

"However, Chaos Ruler's effect also needs Light Barrier to activate!"

"This cannot cover up your lack in dueling."

Tiancheng Guang clenched his fists slowly: "Although I don't really approve of Sartorius's idea of two consciousnesses, at least in dueling, he firmly believes in his own 【Fate】, just like I forever believe in 【Fusion】. In this aspect, he is an extreme duelist—while you, Light of Destruction, you just need a tool man who can exert powerful strength and help you destroy others!

This is the difference between you!"

"Saying so much won't change the status quo!" The Light of Destruction was not angry, because His advantage at this moment was so huge that everyone could see it clearly, "No matter how good you say it is, it's useless."

Sartorius's Shadow was ready: "My turn, draw!"

He finished drawing, and Light Barrier began to spin again, and this time the result was...

Reversed!

"!!"

Whether it was out of nervousness or because he was pointed out by Tiancheng Guang, this time Light Barrier was actually in the Reversed Position.

"Heh, you really said it right, but it doesn't matter! Now, Light Barrier's effect is no longer needed! As long as Chaos Ruler negates the monster effects on your field, that's enough!"

Sartorius's Shadow laughed wildly: "Activate the Spell Card, Arcana Reading. When Light Barrier exists on the field, I can choose one effect to activate directly without tossing a coin—I choose the Upright Position, add 1 card with a coin-tossing effect other than Arcana Reading from my deck to my hand..."

Sartorius inserted the Spell Card into the Duel Disk, but suddenly discovered that it seemed he couldn't activate the Upright effect of this card.

"What's going on?"

"Sorry, when Thunder Dragon Colossus is on the field, the opponent cannot add cards from the deck to the hand except by drawing."

"What?" The Light of Destruction was shocked, "Isn't the monster on your field unable to activate effects?"

"So—this is an effect that takes effect without activation!!" Tiancheng Guang interrupted His speech, "Because of Thunder Dragon Colossus, you cannot activate the effect of this card, so its effect is negated!"

"Ugh... since it's such a terrible monster, let's fight!" Sartorius snorted coldly, "In front of the ruler of all things, a monster of this caliber will be destroyed in an instant!"

"Chaos Ruler, attack Thunder Dragon Colossus!"

"Disappear!"

The three dragons on Chaos Ruler gathered power, aiming at Thunder Dragon Colossus. At the moment Thunder Dragon Colossus was about to explode, Tiancheng Guang opened his Graveyard: "Thunder Dragon Colossus can banish 1 Thunder-Type monster from the Graveyard to replace its own destruction!"

"???"

"I banish Gem-Knight Lazuli!"

"Ah!!" Serena looked at this scene and suddenly realized, "So that's it, replacing destruction is a non-activated effect; it doesn't need activation at all!"

"Bastard—Dark Ruler attacks twice!!!"

Thunder Dragon Colossus stood in front of Tiancheng Guang, using its wings to block the attack. Although the attack was powerful, it was offset in an instant.

"Banish two Thunder Dragons! Continue to replace destruction!"

"Tsk..." Watching the monster that still stood on the field after repeated attacks, Sartorius couldn't help but curse.

"Heh, it doesn't matter. No matter how much you struggle, all things will eventually return to the end."

"Destruction exists anywhere in the universe!"

"Even if you survive this turn, what can you do next turn?" He shook his head and set a card face-down.

"Ultimately futile."

"Futile... is it..."

Tiancheng Guang shook his head lightly.

"No... there is never such a thing." Tiancheng Guang slowly held the deck in front of him, his right hand aimed at the deck, "Dueling is a process of competition. Dueling is not eternal destruction, but creation and connection.

I have already seen it, the power of Fusion."

"In this duel, I have already felt it! The final souls of Sartorius and Aster!"

"They are telling me the answer!!"

Tiancheng Guang gently placed his hand on the very top of the deck.

Beside him, the phantoms of two people appeared, reaching toward the deck together with Tiancheng Guang.

"My turn, draw—"

Tiancheng Guang drew fiercely.

Along with his draw, purple radiance flickered on him.

"Is it here—"

The card in his hand.

Elemental HERO Avian.

"All preparations are here!!!"

Tiancheng Guang held a card high.

In this cosmic phantom shrouded by the power of the Light of Destruction, purple light began to spread wildly with Tiancheng Guang as the center.

The Sartorius simulated by the Light of Destruction watched Tiancheng Guang act like this, instinctively widening his eyes and calling out in a low voice: "... The Sun?"

"Spell Card, Fusion!"

At this moment, the most primitive, most basic Fusion Spell Card!

Fusion!

"Fusion Avian and Burstinatrix in my hand!"

"The Fusion condition is Burstinatrix and Avian!"

"No matter how much pain it experiences, no matter how much lamentable pain it experiences, it will never fall! This card symbolizes the hero who never yields!"

"Fusion Summon, Level 6, Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer!"

Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer, Level 6, Fire Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 2100.

"Phoenix Enforcer?" Sartorius Mizuchi looked at this familiar card and couldn't help but stand up, "Yes, that's right, Phoenix Enforcer cannot be destroyed by battle! As long as it's there, it can survive this turn!"

"However, why is it in Attack Position?" Serena shouted in surprise.

"It's not over yet!!" Tiancheng Guang opened his Graveyard, "It's time, the final moment—banish the second Malicious in the Graveyard, Special Summon the third Destiny HERO - Malicious from my deck!"

The silent hero slowly stood beside Tiancheng Guang.

Destiny HERO - Malicious, Level 6, Dark Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 800.

"Could it be!?" On the side, Tiera slowly widened her eyes, completely unable to maintain her posture of watching the show, and reached out to grab Tiancheng Guang's shoulder, "Wait, Tiancheng Guang, in a duel, forcibly creating a brand-new Fusion monster card with that card, you will have to pay a huge price!"

For two people whose relationship wasn't that particularly close, paying such a price!?

"It's come to this, there's no more hesitation!"

"Light of Destruction, now, witness the 【Ultimate Mystery】 of Fusion!"

"Discard Contact with the God's False Body in my hand, activate—"

"Quick-Play Spell!!"

"Super Polymerization!!!"

He held the Spell in his hand high!

In an instant, the world changed. Almost all the scenes created by the Light of Destruction were torn to shreds in an instant!

All things in the universe were torn apart by its power. A terrifying Fusion vortex appeared directly above Tiancheng Guang.

Ultimate power, completely liberated!!
