Chapter 78

"Brother Yu, our business over here is almost done; we plan to set off and return tomorrow morning."

On the other end of the phone, Cai Qiu slowly rose from the hotel sofa, a hint of contentment on his face as he spoke.

"You've worked hard, Old Cai!"

Qin Qin Xiaoyu was quite satisfied with the efficiency of their trip; smiling, he clipped the phone between his cheek and shoulder while locking his office door.

"No, Brother Yu, aren't you going to ask how the promotional effect over here is?"

Cai Qiu was somewhat surprised.

He had stood up from the sofa precisely expecting Qin Qin Xiaoyu to ask him about the results of the promotion.

However.

After waiting for ages, the phone contained nothing but a few simple words of response and a burst of noise.

The expected question never came from Qin Qin Xiaoyu.

This left the speech he had prepared long ago with no place to be used, instantly giving him the feeling of having a point but nowhere to apply it.

Actually.

Regarding this question, Qin Qin Xiaoyu could roughly guess the answer even without asking; the effects in other regions were quite good, so there was no reason for the effect in North America to be poor.

However, judging by Old Cai's tone, he seemed very eager for Qin Qin Xiaoyu to ask him this question, so Qin Qin Xiaoyu could only smile and ask casually:

"Then tell me about it?"

Hearing this, Cai Qiu instantly perked up, his tone becoming excited: "Brother Yu, you don't know how exaggerated the effect is.

There is a new game anticipation list over here in North America, and our game is currently hanging at the top spot.

This new game anticipation list doesn't just have mobile games; there are many PC games, console games..."

Cai Qiu on the other end of the phone spoke for fully half an hour or more before finally hanging up.

To be honest.

Being able to achieve such an effect, Qin Qin Xiaoyu was somewhat surprised in his heart as well.

If what Old Cai said didn't contain too much exaggeration, then this time they had spent a small sum of money to accomplish a great feat.

Besides the twenty million Old Cai took with him when he left, Qin Qin Xiaoyu later arranged for someone to transfer money to them just once.

All added up, it was only forty million in total.

Adding the ten million in channel promotion fees from Global Interactive Entertainment.

In this Parallel World, the pre-launch marketing expenses for the game Genshin Impact overseas amounted to no more than fifty million in total.

This was a huge chunk less than in the previous life.

But the effect didn't seem to be much inferior.

Now that everything is ready, the next step is to wait for May 1st to arrive and check the results!

8:40 PM.

Qin Qin Xiaoyu finally finished his handiwork, stood up from his chair, stretched his muscles and bones, and planned to relax a bit before heading straight back.

But just then, a push notification suddenly popped up on his phone screen.

Such push notifications, unless manually turned off, are sent by almost every major APP every day.

Qin Qin Xiaoyu didn't think much of it, picked up his phone, and prepared to swipe it away directly.

But when he saw the content on it, the finger that was already preparing to swipe stopped abruptly.

"The streamer you follow, Nan Zong, is live..."

Hesitating slightly for two seconds, Qin Qin Xiaoyu finally clicked in.

Originally, after meeting Zhang Feng on the road yesterday, he had promised the other party to go to his livestream room to chat if he had time tonight.

It was just that last night, he was delayed by the Zhongli incident and the version preview matters.
