Chapter 546

Knights of Favonius.

Conference room.

Besides Inspector Diluc, Cavalry Captain and Chief Instructor Kaeya, and Acting Grand Master Jean, ten other people were seated.

The people in this conference room held high positions throughout Mondstadt and wielded power in their hands.

Gu Chen pushed the door open and entered. After sitting in the main seat, he looked around and said slowly, "I heard that recently, because of the Lawrence Clan descendant wanting to join the Knights, everyone has different opinions?"

Diluc nodded and said, "There are indeed some different opinions, but I personally support it."

Jean said softly, "I am more inclined to agree. I am even prepared to invite her to join the Knights; this is a manifestation of protecting Mondstadt."

The expressions of the others varied; clearly, some did not quite agree with this opinion.

After taking a sip of tea, Gu Chen tapped the table and said lightly, "The matter of the Lawrence Clan is already an old story. Whether she has ulterior motives or has turned over a new leaf, the Knights must show their own stature."

"If she has ulterior motives and wants to destroy the current excellent situation, then it proves that the Lawrence Clan has not changed its nature after a thousand years."

"If it is a change in ideology and she wants to protect Mondstadt, I think we should give this opportunity. What are your opinions?"

Although Gu Chen's voice was calm, in the Knights of Favonius, or rather in all of Mondstadt, Gu Chen's words were absolute authority.

Whether from the habits of many years or from prestige, very few people refuted the decisions made by Gu Chen.

The few times there were refutations, it was because people close to Diluc and others proposed amendments, which were generally good things.

Now, Gu Chen's words were like the final word; this matter was already settled.

Immediately, someone said with a complicated expression, "Since the Grand Master has made the decision, then I also express my support. However, if she really has ill intentions, please ask the Grand Master to severely punish the Lawrence Clan!"

The pain the Lawrence Clan brought to Mondstadt a thousand years ago must be remembered to this day.

It can be said that it was a dark history that created the Lawrence Clan, which is despised, and also created Vanessa, the hero who stirred up the wind of justice.

A thousand years have passed since then.

Setting aside prejudice, it is indeed possible to give the Lawrence Clan a chance.

"We cannot let go of any enemy, but we must absolutely not refuse anyone who carries a heart to protect Mondstadt."

After Gu Chen set the theme, everyone expressed their opinions one after another.

After discussion, Diluc said, "I think surveillance is completely unnecessary. Since the decision has been made, we should be bolder."

"I agree. Can't we just not open some classified information for the time being? Besides, starting as an apprentice knight, she wouldn't be able to access that much anyway," Kaeya laughed.

【Nilou】: This matter was actually discussed for so long. What exactly did the Lawrence Clan do? (Nahida: Curious)

【Dvalin】: Being a dictator in free Mondstadt, 'tyrant' isn't enough to describe the Lawrence Clan. You might as well call them evil nobles. In short, they were all things festering with evil. (Pah)

【Albedo】: To this day, the descendants of the Lawrence Clan are still despised by the people of Mondstadt, but the theme of this meeting is Eula Lawrence. Reality has already proven that Spindrift Knight Eula Lawrence is an upright knight, although her personality seems a bit unique.

【Jean】: Eula is indeed a very good person. She is a very excellent knight. In the real world, I invited Eula to join the Knights, and Grand Master Varka also fully affirmed Eula, which is enough to show that Eula has no problems. (Jean: Thumbs up)

【Paimon】: Hehe, Eula and we are also quite familiar. Except for having a bit of a catchphrase and being difficult to get along with for people who aren't familiar with her, Eula is a very good person! (Paimon: Hmph hmph)

【Eula】: Evaluating me behind my back in the group, I'll remember this grudge! (Eula: Disdain)

【Keqing】: It seems she is indeed a person with a lot of personality. (Keqing: Thumbs up)

【Yae Miko】: I understand. This kind of setting is called 'tsundere' in light novels, but tsundere has already receded from the environment now. (Yae Miko: Smirk)

【Gu Chen】: Tsundere True Lord, Tsundere Knight, Tsundere God, all have receded from the environment. (Venti: Scattering flowers)

【Furina】: Who is the Tsundere God talking about?! (Alert)

【Cloud Retainer】:?

【Amber】: Hehe, in short, Eula being exposed is also a good thing. Mr. Gu Chen has recognized her like this, so everyone watching the video in reality should also change their views on Eula, right? (Klee: Yay)

【Eula】: Who let you do this without permission... (Whispering)

【Gu Chen】: Are you excited? Are you so excited you want to cry? This Grand Master is full of holy light! (Seeing Zhongli: Long Wang crooked mouth)

【Kaeya】: Brother, sometimes you really don't have to destroy your lofty image like this. (Funny)

【Azhdaha】: What do you know? What do you know! The Sect Leader lowering his status to chat with you in the same group is giving you face. You have to take it. Kaeya, hurry up and kowtow to the Sect Leader!

【Kaeya】: Hehe! (Venti kowtow video 5s)

【Venti】: Who the hell let you save this video?! (Annoyed)

【Osial】: Don't say it, really don't say it. If something happens in the future, just use this video to apologize to everyone. (Venti kowtow video 5s)

【Seeing Zhongli】: There shouldn't be any Venti fans in the group, right?

【Barbara】: Not familiar.

【Rosaria】: Don't know him.

【Klee】: The singing big brother is so pitiful.

【Venti】: Little Klee, full of innocence, is still cute. (Venti: Clapping)

【Klee】: If Klee accidentally causes trouble in the future, can I use the singing big brother's video to apologize? (Klee: Please, I beg you)

【Kaeya】: Still cute? (Funny)

【Azhdaha】: Little brother, speak!
