Chapter 5: Wood Dragon Technique, Crushing the Archons

Jiang Yan touched his silver hair with some annoyance and let out a light sigh.

"Who cares? I'm not an Archon anyway."

"I'll open my treasure chests, and they'll fight their battles."

After comforting himself a few times, Jiang Yan stepped back into his journey.

Since the game map he played was formed after various terrain adjustments under the rule of the Seven Archons—for example, in Mondstadt, the land of the wine-drinkers, where terrain was constantly corrected, mountain peaks were sliced off, and wind and snow were swept away—he now had no idea where any treasure chests were located.

He could only take it one step at a time.

After walking for a full day and night, and opening four or five ordinary and exquisite treasure chests in a row, even one precious treasure chest, Jiang Yan finally figured out the loot drop pattern of the treasure chests.

Ordinary treasure chests could only enhance his physique and elemental power, giving nothing else.

Exquisite treasure chests allowed him to obtain miscellaneous items from the myriad worlds and some relatively common skills, such as cooking and tea art.

Precious treasure chests could yield relatively rare items from the myriad worlds.

As for magnificent treasure chests, there was no need to say more; they should yield top-tier abilities from the myriad worlds. His Wood Release was opened from one of them.

And the precious treasure chest that Jiang Yan opened granted him the Observation Haki from the One Piece World!

"It's still too weak..."

Jiang Yan sighed. Although he had the support of the top-tier ability Wood Release, the amount of elemental power he stored was too small.

Forget about True Thousand Hands; he couldn't even use the Wood Human Technique right now.

Although Observation Haki was good, if it were truly during the Archon War, even if he trained his Observation Haki to foresee the future, it would be useless.

His own strength was not enough to master the level required to wield foresight of the future.

"If only the treasure chests could yield something like Tailed Beast Chakra."

Jiang Yan imagined this, chuckling to himself.

After climbing over another mountain, Jiang Yan saw an exquisite treasure chest sitting quietly in the middle of the cliff on the mountain where he was located.

Oh ho! Another treasure chest!

Jiang Yan clapped his hands in delight. Two vines extended from the ground beneath his feet, wrapped around his waist, and lifted him up.

Carefully controlling the vines, Jiang Yan slowly moved toward the position of the treasure chest.

After so many experiences of picking up treasure chests, Jiang Yan's proficiency with his Wood Release had increased another notch.

Just as Jiang Yan was about to grab the treasure chest before him, a violent tremor surged through the entire mountain range.

Trouble!

Jiang Yan grabbed the vines tightly, stabilizing his stance.

Immediately, two huge figures swept past overhead.

They roared constantly, fighting and killing, their furious cries echoing through the clouds, shattering mountain ranges one after another.

"It's over, it's over, it's over!"

It really is the Archon War period!

At that moment, cold sweat streamed down Jiang Yan's head.

At this very moment, if he didn't know these two were Archons, he would be a fool!

If these two did this during the era of the Seven Archons, they would have long been smashed into the ground by the Geo Archon's two Geo Spears.

Tear!

Watching the two Archons fighting each other, Jiang Yan quickly controlled the vines to descend.

The head can be severed! Blood can flow!

The treasure chest cannot be left unclaimed!

This is the fine tradition of a Traveler!

【Congratulations, Host, on opening an Exquisite Treasure Chest! Obtained: Elite Jonin-level Chakra from the Naruto World!】

【Chakra converting into elemental power...】

Great!

Jiang Yan listened to the system's prompt sound with delight.

Feeling the surge of elemental power within his body, he gently clenched his fist.

His current elemental power capacity was enough for him to activate the Wood Dragon Technique for battle!

Jiang Yan even felt he could clash with the two Archons fighting not far away.

If he saved up a bit more, and once he could activate the Wood Human Technique, he could walk sideways through the Archon War!

On the other side, the two Archons were engaged in a fierce battle, and mountains were flattened one by one under their struggle.

Just then, the sky suddenly darkened, and a Geo Spear descended from the heavens, smashing into the two of them.

"Roar! Morax! You want to get involved too?!"

One of the Archons roared, his eyes死死盯着 the young man with arms crossed not far away.

"This is my territory. I hope you will leave."

Morax spoke indifferently, his expression cold.

"Then you die!"

Both Archons were now bloodthirsty, and without a word, they engaged Morax in combat.

On the mountainside, Jiang Yan, having returned to the cliff top, watched the struggle between the three Archons, his eyes sparkling as he looked at Morax.

Lord Archon!

The most reassuring man in Genshin!

I have finally met you!!

However, Jiang Yan did not intend to join this struggle.

He only wanted to quietly search for treasure chests.

Of course, it would be even better to search for treasure chests under the protection of the Emperor.

Although he already possessed the ability to protect himself in the Demon God War.

And around the three Demon Gods, the dependents of two Demon Gods were also battling the Immortals contracted with Morax.

Jiang Yan watched for a while, found it a bit boring, and prepared to leave.
