Chapter 318

Seeing that Zhu Ying's account was still offline, Yun Shen didn't waste any more time and started logging into the school's official website to choose elective courses.

Although they were called elective courses, they were actually mandatory; if you didn't choose, the system would randomly assign one, and it would be quite troublesome if you wanted to change it later.

The school network was unobstructed, and Yun Shen quickly made his choices, choosing all four courses as majors, with not a single minor.

Choosing courses as majors and minors was different, meaning the degree of importance was different, and the course arrangements after this would also be different.

Minor courses wouldn't be studied as deeply as major courses; one only needed to understand the general idea, which could save a lot of study time.

Someone like Yun Shen who chose four major courses would inevitably waste more time on study.

Next, he just needed to wait for the review to end.

As expected, Yun Shen quickly received a call from his homeroom teacher, Lin Waner.

"Yun Shen, I just saw that you reported your elective courses, and you chose four major courses."

Lin Waner's voice sounded very gentle, like a caring big sister persuading an ignorant youth to turn back.

"Mm, I chose them."

"I can understand you choosing the War God and Tower Defense routes as major courses, but Farming can completely be a minor, and there's also the War route..."

Yun Shen interrupted, "Teacher, no need to persuade me anymore; how about this, if my performance isn't good enough in the future, I'll adjust the courses then."

"... Alright then, you can try it first."

Lin Waner didn't say anything more; geniuses had pride, and persistent persuasion wouldn't be of much use. Once Yun Shen realized the difficulties, he would probably know when to retreat.

Anyway, the school would have preferential treatment for genius Lords; it was just deleting courses, and he could modify them later.

"Right, Student Yun Shen, the Village Chief in your village should have been selected, right?"

According to Lin Waner's guess, Yun Shen must have waited for the results to come out before returning to the Main World to choose his courses.

Yun Shen smiled faintly, "Mm, I still have some prestige, so no one competed with me."

On the other end of the phone, where Yun Shen couldn't see, Lin Waner curled her lips; he was truly a child with an old soul, and this mouth could really talk.

In my opinion, it's not that everyone is letting you, but eight out of ten it's hard strength, right?

Lin Waner did not voice the complaints in her heart, but instead reminded him softly: "Then you must be careful from now on; with one hundred novice villages competing for a single mayor position, there will certainly be many lords from other countries."

"Rest assured, I will try my best to protect my classmates."

Yun Shen wasn't worried about his own danger; he would kill as many foreign Lords as came, but the main problem was the other Lords in the village; their strength wasn't strong enough, and it would be easy for something to happen if they were targeted.

Lin Waner instructed, "In short, be careful; if you have any needs, you can mention them to the school."

Yun Shen raised his eyebrows, hearing the meaning in these words.

Could it be that the influence of Zhang Sanfeng made the school willing to act as his backing?

Don't say, this was quite possible.

"If it's trouble, there really is one; Zhu Ying and I joined forces to wipe out the neighboring Sakura Country Newbie Village, twelve Lords died four, and eight escaped; now Zhu Ying is the Village Chief of the neighboring village."

This matter couldn't be hidden; after all, eight surviving Lords had fled back to the Main World.

The 【Profound Heaven Iron Maiden】 troop would definitely be exposed to the sight of many people and would be linked to him.

Therefore, Yun Shen was now playing the game of sharing weal and woe; anyway, four Sakura Country Lords had died, and he said it was done by him and Zhu Ying together—could it be that these four could come back to life and say it had nothing to do with Zhu Ying?

What's more, Zhu Ying had indeed joined forces with Yun Shen, but her main job was to protect the safety of Kurosaki Sugi's territory, and he really didn't know how many troops from other Sakura Country Lords and wild monsters spawned nearby she had killed during that time.

Lin Waner smiled and said, "Don't worry about such small matters; Sakura Country won't do anything just because of one Newbie Village, but it's quite impressive that you could wipe out an entire village so quickly and obtain a Territory Shift Card."

The number of Lords in a Newbie Village was basically around ten; unless their background was special, even if they all died, the hearts of the Sakura Country high-level officials wouldn't beat any faster because of this.

Yun Shen bluffed, "It's still because the bones of the Sakura Country Lords are too soft; they didn't need much torture before they honestly cooperated and confessed the territory coordinates."

He didn't know how much Lin Waner believed, but she said, "Then let's leave it at that; if you want to give up the War route and Farming route, send me a message."

Yun Shen replied with three obedient "Mm's."

The call ended there, and Yun Shen restrained his smile.

"This Teacher Lin Waner, although she looks and sounds very gentle, seems hard to bluff."

A man's intuition told Yun Shen that this woman was not easy to deal with, not the silly, sweet type; he absolutely shouldn't provoke her.

Putting away his phone, Yun Shen walked into the training room in the villa and opened the safe.

"Refresh!"

Clusters of affix light appeared; this time, three of the seven Shi Shi cultivation methods sublimated into Legendary cultivation methods, and his luck was truly good.

It was just a pity that 【Heavenly Craftsmanship】 still hadn't changed.

But this Shi Shi-grade Hero Token was a bit interesting; three Golden light clusters popped up today!

【Demon Whisper】 (Gold): Can recruit Demon race Heroes, item quality upgraded to Golden Legendary.

【Invincible Martial Fanatic】 (Gold): Can recruit a Hero extremely focused on physical attributes, item quality upgraded to Golden Legendary.

【Death Declaration】 (Gold): Can recruit Undead race Heroes, item quality upgraded to Golden Legendary.

"Giving me three to choose from, huh?"

Yun Shen didn't have a fear of choosing this time and decisively chose 【Invincible Martial Fanatic】, but didn't attach an affix for now.

What he wanted to obtain now was indeed Heroes and troops focused on physical attributes.

And the "extreme" in the affix description made him even more concerned, wanting to try and see what kind of goods he could recruit.

However, because only Heroes with full favorability could descend to the Main World, Hero Tokens couldn't be used in the Main World; otherwise, it would be equivalent to carding a bug.

Plus, Legendary-grade items couldn't be brought to the Myriad Races Battlefield for now, so he had to endow them with affixes later.

Yun Shen immediately communicated with the territory and selected three Profound Heaven Iron Maidens who had forgotten their cultivation methods to descend to the Main World.

"Hurry up and learn these three cultivation methods."

"Yes!"

The three Legendary cultivation methods each had their own characteristics and could be considered to have some value.

Yun Shen didn't intend to wait for Zhu Ying's return in the Main World; after all, even if he waited for Zhu Ying to return, it would take time for her to contact the Zhu family of Wuming to send ten Legendary cultivation methods over.

So after these three Profound Heaven Iron Maidens finished learning the cultivation methods, Yun Shen opened the temporary passage to the territory again.

"Let's go; our territory is about to welcome a new Hero." ===== CHAPTER 320 =====
