Chapter 123: Second floor crusade ends, about to be ambushed!

Shang Hao was at the very front of the team, needing to face the most Ice Field Eagles. ===== CHAPTER 125 =====

If he were to attack one of them now, and the others saw the situation and tried to flee, he had no confidence in being able to keep them there.

"Roar, roar, roar!"

Just at this moment,

a deafening roar rang out.

"Brothers, we've hit the jackpot!"

Hearing this roar, Shang Hao immediately perked up and said excitedly.

Lava Hound, Level 22 Boss monster.

For their team, as long as it didn't appear while they were encountering small mobs, it was a gift delivered right to their door!

Li Yao looked toward the source of the sound.

A giant hound draped in a cloak of flames was sprinting toward them.

Every step it took left a lava footprint on the ground.

"Was this lured here by the Yan family?"

Li Yao muttered suspiciously.

It was too coincidental.

Just as those practitioners formed a surrounding posture, the fourth-floor Boss monster appeared immediately after.

"What did you say just now?"

Shang Yana heard the sound but didn't hear it clearly.

Seeing that Li Yao didn't answer, she didn't continue to ask, but instead said:

"The Lava Hound is very strong. If it's convenient for you, classmate Li Yao, please help us out."

Li Yao glanced at Shang Yana and gave an answer that didn't address the question.

"Try not to use your skills for a while."

"Huh?"

Shang Yana was stunned.

Before she could even think, the Lava Hound had already appeared in front of them.

Without any hesitation, a super-sized flame claw swiped toward Shang Hao, who was closest to it.

Shang Hao let out a loud shout, and a thick halo surged over his shield.

"Clang!"

The sound of steel clashing rang out.

Shang Hao retreated several steps.

【-1049】

Seeing the damage, Shang Hao was not angry but laughed instead.

"Beast, if you have the guts, kill your grandpa!"

At the same time, Shang Qian's healing spell landed on him.

Most Boss monsters have a certain level of intelligence.

The Lava Hound ignored Shang Hao's provocation and lunged directly at Shang Qian.

Shang Yana arrived just in time.

Although she didn't understand what classmate Li Yao meant, there must be a reason for him to say that.

Shang Yana muttered in her heart.

"Ding, ding, ding!"

Every claw strike from the Lava Hound was blocked by her thin sword.

Shang Mingxu stood at the back of the team, firing fireballs one after another.

Shang Hao glanced at Shang Yana, then at Li Yao, who was still standing in place.

A look of disdain curled the corners of his mouth.

As expected, he wants to save his strength to deal with the second advancement mission!

That's just as well.

"Xiao Ya, I'll help you."

Saying this, Shang Hao held his heavy shield and charged toward the Lava Hound.

Under the siege of the four, even the Lava Hound couldn't get the upper hand.

Unable to attack Shang Yana, it could only attack Shang Hao.

Shang Hao possessed super-strong defense; as long as Shang Yana stepped in for a few seconds when the healing couldn't keep up with the health loss,

the Lava Hound had no way to deal with this team at all.

"Sister Xiao Ya, why aren't you using your skills?"

Shang Mingxu asked while methodically releasing his skills.

"It's nothing."

Shang Yana shook her head without giving much of an answer, her long sword dancing as it landed continuously on the Lava Hound.

Even without using skills, her damage was definitely the highest in the team.

"Your Sister Xiao Ya is going to the sixth floor for her second advancement, so of course she needs to save some mana now."

Shang Hao spoke up to explain for Shang Yana.

Under the Lava Hound's offensive, the group even had time to chat.

In just over ten minutes, the hound's health bar was down to only one-third.

"Attacking at this time should be the best moment."

With the Lava Hound down to near-death health, everyone was at their most relaxed.

If he were a Yan family practitioner, he would definitely choose to strike at this time.

Just as Li Yao was secretly pondering,

a message suddenly popped up on the system panel.

【You have been kicked from the team!】

At the same time,

"Woo-roar!"

The Lava Hound let out a final, mournful cry, its body a bloody mess, and it slowly collapsed to the ground.

A golden light emerged on both Shang Hao and Shang Mingxu, and they stepped into Level 19.

Shang Yana was stunned for a moment.

The next second,

her small face suddenly turned icy cold.

"Shang Hao, what are you doing?"

When subjugating a Boss,

if a practitioner has not contributed to the Boss, the team leader has the right to kick them from the team.

Shang Hao actually kicked classmate Li Yao from the team at the very last second?

Shang Yana felt she had never been so angry.

"Xiao Ya, am I not doing this for the sake of the team?"

"Ask Shang Qian if she is willing to let someone who hasn't made any contribution share the experience!"

Shang Qian's expression changed; this guy was actually pointing the finger at her?

However, having teamed up for many years, they already had a tacit understanding, so she looked at Shang Yana and comforted her:

"The Lava Hound has already appeared; it is indeed inappropriate for Li Yao to just watch like that."
