Chapter 567

Li Yao did have this thought.

A monster that even made teachers leading teams encounter Waterloo!

Its strength must be extremely formidable!

Correspondingly,

the loot would also be very rich!

But the 【Abyss Fortress】 hidden BOSS had only appeared once.

Even the teachers didn't know how they triggered it back then.

How would Xiao Ya know?

As expected,

Shang Yana said: "I don't know how to trigger it,"

"but we can try."

"Oh?" Li Yao's eyes lit up. "How to try?"

"I've looked for strategies on the forum."

"The other five teams that successfully cleared it didn't trigger the hidden BOSS."

"So we can look at what they all did and rule them out."

"Of the six teams, three released strategy videos."

"I studied them, and there are three hypotheses for triggering the hidden BOSS."

Shang Yana spoke slowly.

Li Yao just looked at Shang Yana and listened to her,

but he noticed that Shang Yana seemed to have put on makeup today,

especially around her eyes.

When brushing dungeons, Li Yao had never seen Shang Yana wear makeup.

"Stayed up late watching strategies yesterday?"

"Ah?" Shang Yana was startled, her expression becoming a bit flustered,

like a little girl caught doing something wrong. "No, I just couldn't sleep, so I looked at them."

"Hmm, continue."

Li Yao chuckled and didn't say much more.

"Okay, okay."

"The first hypothesis is that the number of monsters killed on the first floor by these three strategy teams was seventy-three."

"Student Li Yao also killed seventy-three. Can we look around to see if there are any extra monsters?"

"In some dungeons, you have to kill all monsters, or a certain number of monsters, to trigger the hidden BOSS."

Li Yao nodded, feeling it made sense.

Kazix stayed by his side, and all the other chess pieces were sent out to look for missed monsters.

Seeing Li Yao take her suggestion,

Shang Yana's eyes narrowed into crescents, and she smiled softly,

continuing:

"The second hypothesis, which I think has the highest probability,"

"is destroying the terrain. No, it should be said, destroying the entire dungeon!"

"Because in General Xue's strategy team back then, there was an SSS-rank practitioner who excelled at large-scale bombing."

"While killing monsters, they destroyed the entire dungeon until it was unrecognizable."

"In the end, the hidden BOSS appeared. I think Student Li Yao should try it."

Hearing this, Li Yao scanned the ruins around him.

The first floor

should be considered mostly destroyed, right?

Li Yao decisively made up his mind:

for the next few floors, he would follow this.

"Then the last hypothesis is the simplest!"

Shang Yana's eyes sparkled with little stars as she looked at Li Yao with admiration:

"It's simple, but only Student Li Yao can accomplish it!"

"That is the clearing time!"

"As long as you clear the dungeon within a certain time, the hidden BOSS will come out."

Master, there is more to this chapter, please click the next page to continue reading, it's even more exciting!

"General Xue and their clearing speed happened to be the fastest."

"I see." Li Yao was thoughtful.

"In that case, let's leave the clearing time for the next run. I'll brush the dungeon at full speed."

"For this run, let's try your first two hypotheses!"

"Mm-hmm, that's what I thought too." Shang Yana nodded repeatedly.

At this time,

several chess pieces returned to Li Yao's side.

They had searched everywhere they could, but found no other monsters.

Li Yao led the team and jumped down the hole.

Just as his feet touched the ground,

the Devourer blocked the crowd.

The next second,

countless beams of light shot directly at them, landing on the Devourer.

【-4023】

【-9748 (Weakness Attack)】

【-4275】

Dense damage values appeared,

and the Devourer's HP bar dropped by a small notch.

In the strategy, a practitioner with an invincibility skill needs to step out here

and use one second of invincibility time to block all attacks.

But Li Yao didn't think it was necessary.

This bit of damage didn't even take away one-tenth of the Devourer's HP bar.

Immediately after, beams of light shot frequently,

all of which were tanked by the Devourer.

Under these attacks, the Devourer's Titan Determination activated, and its size exploded infinitely,

directly piercing through the ceiling.

Li Yao also followed the direction of the beams and saw the attackers.

Spherical monsters were floating in the air, about one meter from the ground.

Metal spheres, about half a meter in diameter.

An eye grew in the central area,

and the eye occupied more than eighty percent of the monster's entire body.

It was from the eye that the beams were emitted.

Li Yao casually cast an Appraisal spell.
