Chapter 1130

They had temporarily abandoned the plan to exterminate the Shoushen Sect, wanting to gather more intelligence, accumulate more strength, and wait for the right moment.

Don't blame the Huaxia Federation for being too cautious—after all, it is precisely this caution that has allowed the Federation to steadily develop to this day in a world ravaged by fierce beasts!

Even Tian Lao, who had believed Su Yang should continue tempering himself, now expressed opposition: "Su Yang is now an Imperial-level Beast Tamer, and he is indeed powerful, but letting him enter the Northwest is still too risky. I think we can continue to wait!"

No one wanted anything to happen to Su Yang!

Su Yang was the Federation's future.

A living Su Yang could not only protect the Federation, but also protect each of their own interests...

After Tian Lao, seeing that Mo Yunjian and Shi Fanmeng were about to start arguing too, Marshal Xu pressed his hand down and said: "I'm not saying we should send Su Yang to the Northwest!"

"Then where should we send him?"

Marshal Xu pointed with a grand gesture: "Send him to the North!"

"The Northern Snowfields?"

"To Xue Qiancheng's place?"

"Correct!" Marshal Xu nodded and said, "The North. A few days ago, Xue Qiancheng applied for retirement. He suffered a setback in the North—not only did he lose a thousand elite troops, he himself was severely wounded, and of his three main battle beasts only one survived. This was a heavy blow to him, and he wants to retire... I personally agree—he's old!"

"Can Su Yang hold the North?"

Marshal Xu said seriously: "It's very suitable for him now. I can also have Xue Qiancheng help Su Yang, so the transfer of power will be smooth!"

"Oh right!" Mo Yunjian spoke up, "Regarding the reward, Su Yang still has one special request."

"What opinion?"

"Su Yang wants a medal!"

"What kind of request is that?" Marshal Xu couldn't quite grasp Su Yang's thinking. "Su Yang has performed such a great meritorious service—a medal is certainly warranted. The only thing to consider is what medal to give him!"

After reaching a unanimous opinion, the meeting ended quickly.

However, Shi Fanmeng's recommendation was not approved by the higher-ups.

Shi Fanmeng wanted Su Yang to take over from her as Honorary President of the Federation's First Military Hospital, but the higher-ups believed that Shi Fanmeng, over so many years, had made outstanding contributions to the Federation and saved countless Federation powerhouses.

Su Yang had only just arrived; even though his healing ability far surpassed Shi Fanmeng's, there was no reason for him to replace her.

Seeing that Su Yang's healing ability was indeed very important to the Federation, and combined with Su Yang's battle merits, the higher-ups ultimately chose to appoint Su Yang as Honorary Vice President of the First Military Hospital, his position second only to Shi Fanmeng's.

Just as the Federation had nearly drafted the reward charter and passed it with almost unanimous votes, Su Yang's mission to eliminate the Tianxing Society in the Southeast was also nearing its conclusion.

In fact, three days ago, the system had already prompted Su Yang that he could now submit the mission.

As long as he submitted the mission, he could obtain a Perfect-grade evaluation.

Because he had already killed Tianxing Society branch helmsman Lin Tianhong, and had severely damaged the Tianxing Society's forces in the Southeast.

However, Su Yang did not choose to submit immediately.

No other reason—he simply felt he hadn't killed thoroughly enough!

Relying on the terrifying intelligence-gathering ability of the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly, every time Su Yang found one Tianxing Society member, he would pull up the radish and bring out the mud, bringing out a whole string of other Tianxing Society members.

When the system prompted him that he could submit the mission, he still had three targets he hadn't killed.

As a result, after killing those three targets, he found thirteen more targets from those three targets' memories!

How could Su Yang possibly stop?

After all, the principle he had always followed was to cut the grass and dig up the roots!

After another five days, all the Tianxing Society members that could be found were killed by Su Yang, and all leads in his hands were completely cut off.

There were indeed a small number who had heard the wind in advance and escaped—Su Yang did not press the matter.

The Southeast was too vast; he couldn't possibly waste a month, or even more, searching for one or two small fry.

"System, I want to submit the legion mission!"

"Ding~ Congratulations to the Host for assisting the Southeast Military Department in successfully severely damaging the Southeast branch of the Tianxing Society, successfully killing Tianxing Society branch helmsman Lin Tianhong, and successfully completing the large-scale legion mission!"

"Ding~ After detection, the system will rate the Host's contribution to completing the mission. The final rating is—Perfect!"

"Ding~ The Host has obtained mission rewards: as follows!"

"Perfect-grade evaluation reward: one Perfect-grade large-scale buff-type skill, three opportunities to awaken a matching talent for a designated beast, five talent points (can be used to enhance a designated beast's talent), and one Mythical-grade talent matching the beast's attribute!"
