Chapter 1174

The same culture, the same language, the same writing, can unite the major cities and regions of the Federation.

Su Yang thought for a moment and said to Liu Mengyun and the others: "General Xue was severely wounded by a strong member of the Shoushen Sect. Now that we've arrived at the Northern Military Department, let's start by targeting the Shoushen Sect—what do you think?"

"I think it's fine!" Liu Mengyun nodded. "They say a new official burns three fires upon taking office. General Xue has built up great prestige over many years in the Northern Military Department. If we can eradicate the Shoushen Sect and avenge General Xue, you'll gain immense prestige in a short time and boost the morale of the entire Northern Military Department!"

Su Yang indeed has great fame within the Federation, and his battle achievements are outstanding.

But upon first arriving at the Northern Military Department, he still needs time to establish his authority.

The Shoushen Sect, which severely wounded Xue Xue Qiancheng and shattered his fighting spirit, is an excellent target to assert dominance.

Moreover, Marshal Xu placing Su Yang in the Northern Military Department may well have been intended to have Su Yang strike against the Shoushen Sect and curb its expansion.

The Shoushen Sect is Su Yang's old adversary.

As long as he doesn't step into the northwest, Su Yang isn't afraid of that "Beast God."

He always felt that the "Beast God" was certainly under some kind of restriction.

Otherwise, with its power, no one in the entire Federation could stand against it.

Otherwise, when Su Yang launched his purges against the Shoushen Sect Sect followers, that "Beast God" would have certainly acted long ago.

Xia Na suddenly whispered: "Have you heard the rumors about General Xue?"

Su Yang asked curiously: "What rumors?"

"They say General Xue still hasn't married!"

"That does seem strange."

It was indeed strange that Xue Xue Qiancheng had never married.

Logically, such an outstanding figure couldn't possibly remain unmarried.

If he didn't marry, countless women would cling to him!

Xia Na whispered: "They say General Xue fell in love with his pet beast."
