Chapter 1286: Beast Sovereign Human-Faced Spider Army! Strike First, Talk Later!

After one night, Su Yang bade farewell to his mother and sister, and with Sovereign Jiazi and Xia Na, used Void Stride to appear directly above Wanyang City.

Wanyang City now was utterly ruined.

The city walls and houses had collapsed by more than half.

Weeds had overgrown the streets, and many small fierce beasts crawled through the broken roads.

Su Yang looked at Wanyang City, and could not help feeling a surge of emotion.

The defense of Wanyang City a few years ago, alongside Liu Mengyun and the Emergency Brigade, was still vivid in his mind.

"General Su, what's wrong?"

"Just thinking about some old times!"

Sovereign Jiazi asked curiously, "You've been to Wanyang City before?"

"Yes, a few years ago!" Su Yang said quietly. "At that time, my strength wasn't strong enough to hold Wanyang City, but I suppose it still counts as a success—at least I saved most of the residents inside the city, and for several years afterward those little spiders didn't dare enter the southwestern part of the Federation."

Sovereign Jiazi could not help saying, "I didn't expect there was a city even General Su couldn't hold!"

She still remembered clearly that their island nation hadn't even been able to take Nangang City…

"Back then, I was only Stellar-rank. Dealing with even a single King-rank fierce beast was difficult for me. There was no choice!"

Xia Na looked at Wanyang City and the area around it, saying, "There really are quite a lot of spider-type fierce beasts here."

Su Yang said, "Xia Na, go clear them out first!"

The strongest fierce beasts near Wanyang City were only Platinum-rank, so letting Xia Na get some practice wasn't a problem.

"Yes, General Su!"

Xia Na leapt straight from the Storm Eagle's talons down toward Wanyang City.

Soon, Xia Na landed steadily atop a tall building in Wanyang City and began slaughtering the fierce beasts within.

Now Xia Na had already become a Stellar-rank Beast Tamer; dealing with these weak fierce beasts was as easy as chopping melons and cutting vegetables.

Xia Na, Sovereign Jiazi, and Liu Mengyun all shared the same weakness.

Namely, each of them had only one or two main battle pets.

Their other pets found it very hard to keep up with their levels.

Because they leveled up too fast, before long they would swap out an entire batch of pets.

This was unavoidable—Su Yang didn't have that many Forced Contract Scrolls, so he could only focus on cultivating one or two pets for each of them.

Even so, they were already very lucky.

At the very least, they could rely on Su Yang's pets to gain powerful combat strength and break through to Sovereign-rank faster.

Su Yang had brought Xia Na out this time precisely to train her properly.

In the future, the Huaxia Federation would face threats, and the Federation would need more powerful Sovereign-rank Beast Tamers.

After Mo Yunjian, Su Yang, Liu Mengyun, and Sovereign Jiazi, Xia Na was certainly among the Huaxia Federation's Beast Tamers most likely to break through to Sovereign-rank!

As Xia Na went on a killing spree inside Wanyang City, she soon drew the attention of a pack of Platinum-rank Swift Wolf Spiders.

The Swift Wolf Spider was something of an old adversary for Su Yang.

Back when he had come to the southwestern region, he had killed quite a few of them.

He hadn't expected them to set their sights on Xia Na now.

"Xia Na, just kill the fierce beasts around here!" Su Yang said, watching her in combat. "I'll go check things over there!"

"Yes, General Su, I can handle it here!"

Xia Na shouted back while dealing with the pack of Swift Wolf Spiders.

"Mm!"

Su Yang wasn't really worried about Xia Na.

The Misfortune Divine Crow she carried was anything but simple.

The Storm Eagle carried Su Yang and Sovereign Jiazi through the air for half a day, passing more than ten abandoned cities around Tianzhu City, and they discovered large numbers of fierce beasts gathering together and moving toward the southwestern part of the Huaxia Federation.

The intelligence Qin Pengcheng had received was correct: that Human-Faced Spider had not only successfully broken through its bloodline shackles and become a Sovereign-rank fierce beast, it could even intelligently command fierce beasts of other species!

Because among these groups of fierce beasts were not only the spider-type fierce beasts Su Yang was familiar with—Ivory Spiders, Swift Wolf Spiders, Golden-Buddha Spiders, Dragon-Frost Spiders, and so on—but also fierce beasts of other species.

For example, Stellar-rank Grey-Hair Fierce Elephants, Stellar-rank Golden-Silk Spirit Monkeys, King-rank Golden-Hair Demon Oxen, King-rank Golden-Horn Black Rhinos, and the like.

Along the way, Su Yang did not spot any Human-Faced Spider packs.
