Chapter 1288: Island Nation Landing

The shark pack of over thirty earth-element creatures, led by three demonic sharks, carved through the earth as they charged toward the beast horde.

With the Human-Faced Spider Beast Sovereign not showing itself and no Sovereign-class beasts to block them, Su Yang's four Sovereign-class pets harvested the beast army like reaping wheat, cutting them down in a frenzy.

Su Yang's ears were filled with frantic system notification sounds.

This was exactly the kind of leveling-up Su Yang loved.

The Huaxia Federation wished not a single Beast Sovereign remained within its borders.

But ever since he had tasted the sweetness last time, Su Yang wished every day that a Beast Sovereign would come trouble him with its army.

The Tianzhu territory was vast; even the Storm Eagle could not be certain of finding that Human-Faced Spider.

But Su Yang knew that as long as he kept wiping out that Human-Faced Spider's subordinates, the Human-Faced Spider would sooner or later show itself.

The moment it appeared within a hundred kilometers, the Storm Eagle would lock onto it.

Once locked on by the Storm Eagle, the Human-Faced Spider Beast Sovereign would find it impossible to escape even if it grew wings.

The Storm Eagle continued carrying Su Yang westward for over ten kilometers, and just then, the Storm Eagle alerted Su Yang that it had spotted traces of human beast tamers.

Seeing the military uniform on the other party, he was already a member of the Southwest Military Region Emergency Brigade Special Operations Group.

"Take me to have a look!"

Chen Jianping rode his Wind Cloud Eagle, carefully avoiding flying-type beasts along the way, heading east toward the Southwest Military Region.

He could not afford to be careless.

The Human-Faced Spider Beast Sovereign's aerial forces were very weak—but that was from Su Yang's perspective.

For ordinary Star Glory and King class beast tamers, the Human-Faced Spider's aerial forces were still terrifyingly powerful.

Just then, a black shadow suddenly swept past his eyes.

Chen Jianping's whole body jolted, his heart nearly leaping out of his chest.

The Wind Cloud Eagle beneath him was so startled it let out a sharp cry!

The truth was, man and beast were already in an extreme state of alert, and the appearance of the black shadow was simply too horrifying!

"Sorry about that—did I scare you?"

Just then, a gentle voice sounded in Chen Jianping's ear.

Chen Jianping looked up and saw a giant eagle appear before him. The giant eagle was like a massive behemoth; his Wind Cloud Eagle was truly insignificant before it.

Most importantly, standing on the giant eagle's back was a young beast tamer in military uniform.

A military beast tamer!

Chen Jianping let out a long breath of relief.

"You should be a beast tamer from the Southwest Military Region Emergency Brigade Special Operations Group, right?"

"Yes!"

Chen Jianping took a careful look at Su Yang's uniform, and his face changed instantly.

He hurriedly gave Su Yang a standard military salute: "Chen Jianping, member of the Southwest Military Region Emergency Brigade Special Operations Group, reporting to General Su!"

Su Yang smiled and returned the salute, then stepped onto Chen Jianping's Wind Cloud Eagle.

The Wind Cloud Eagle lowered its head timidly; facing this man, it dared not offer any resistance.

"Are you heading back?"

"Yes, General Su!"

"Any news from the front?"

Having happened to run into a member of the Emergency Brigade, Su Yang naturally had to ask.

First-hand intelligence—if he could get it for free, of course he would.

"The Human-Faced Spider Beast Sovereign has already shown signs of moving toward the Federation!" Chen Jianping hurriedly said. "Its main force is right behind; it is expected to reach Wanyang City in ten days, and threaten Ruzhang City eleven days later!"

Su Yang remarked, "The Tianzhu side still has some strength! They actually managed to make that Beast Sovereign turn its attack around!"

"Tianzhu has received fresh reinforcements!" Chen Jianping said. "Some time ago, a faction of black-haired, black-eyed people rose up along Tianzhu's southern coast, and they have also been helping Tianzhu hold off part of the Beast Sovereign's army. I suspect it's a beast-tamer faction from the Island Nation."

"That's quite possible!"

The Island Nation's original target had been the Tianzhu direction.

Su Yang was not surprised they had reached Tianzhu safely.

They were originally skilled at naval warfare!

The Island Nation still had some surviving forces.

If they wanted to gain a firm foothold in Tianzhu, they would still need to put in some effort.

After all, they were outsiders.

But given the current situation in Tianzhu, it was indeed a perfect opportunity for them to step in.

Chen Jianping said excitedly and joyfully, "But that Beast Sovereign actually wants to attack our Federation—it's clearly seeking its own death!"

Chen Jianping, who had originally been rushing back to deliver his report, had been terrified and uneasy.

After all, a Beast Sovereign was too terrifying!

Throughout the Federation's history, every time a Beast Sovereign appeared, countless cities and beast tamers would be lost. But now, he had actually met Su Yang!

His anxious, unsettled heart immediately steadied.

Su Yang's feat of slaying the Beast Sovereign Hurricane Roaring Cloud Tiger had already spread throughout all of Huaxia's Dajiangnanbei.

He was a hero, like a stabilizing sea god-needle!

With him around, every army would feel at ease.

Chen Jianping believed that if the Beast Sovereign Hurricane Roaring Cloud Tiger was no match for Su Yang, then the Beast Sovereign Human-Faced Spider could not possibly be Su Yang's opponent either!

"General Qin has already reported the intelligence up to the General Headquarters, and the General Headquarters sent me from the Bunabian Sect to help!" Su Yang glanced at the bleeding wounds on Chen Jianping and the Wind Cloud Eagle, and said softly, "You've worked hard. With me here, the Beast Sovereign Human-Faced Spider won't stir up any big waves!"
