Chapter 1367: Strategic Guidelines: Nationwide Wartime Mobilization!

"How do I see it?" Su Yang thought for a moment. "Of course, we strike first and test them!"

Surrender? Impossible.

Su Yang would never surrender in this lifetime.

But he knew that the Huaxia Federation did indeed seem to have little chance of victory.

So he didn't say anything about Huaxia's certain triumph, nor did he plan to whip up their enthusiasm.

These old guys wouldn't buy that act.

They preferred to believe what they saw with their own eyes.

"General Su, do you have confidence?"

"Some confidence!"

"Oh!"

The High-ranking military command all sat up straight, watching Su Yang with serious yet hopeful expressions.

"Can you explain?"

Su Yang's finger slowly traced along the marching route of the Phoenix Wing Army of Qingluan, and the high command all saw his movements through the projector.

They saw him mark a single section of the route!

"I plan to intercept… or stall them right here!"

The High-ranking military command all drew in a sharp breath!

"That's an army of one hundred thousand, plus who knows how many Emperor-level Beast Tamer specialists!" Marshal Xu said with concern. "General Su, do you have confidence?"

General Feng Yu, commander of the Phoenix Wing Army, was an Emperor-level powerhouse.

But that didn't mean the Phoenix Wing Army had only one Emperor-level specialist!

Add to that the other Imperial-level, King-level, and Star Radiance-level Beast Tamers, and for Su Yang to single-handedly intercept one hundred thousand Phoenix Wing troops sounded like pure fantasy.

They knew Su Yang had a space-type pet beast, but what if they had one too?

After all, this was the Beast Tamer Great World, which had developed for countless tens of thousands of years, teeming with powerful Beast Tamers and bizarre, fearsome beasts—not like our Water Blue Planet.

If he slipped up even slightly, Su Yang could easily be trapped.

"No confidence," Su Yang said casually, "but I still have to try. Even if I fail, it won't be a big problem! At least after I ambush them once, they might not even know who did it. Given their arrogance, they might not investigate me right away."

"As long as I create enough trouble for them, I can drastically slow their advance into Water Blue Planet!"

The elites of Qingluan were indeed terrifying.

But to conquer the entire Water Blue Planet, they couldn't possibly rely on just a few, ten top-tier Beast Tamers, could they?

Su Yang looked at the group. "What do you think?"

Marshal Xu glanced at the other high command, then slowly nodded. "I think we should go for it."

"Good!"

"Will you use Hellblood Vine Blossoms?"

Su Yang nodded. "They're the main force. Even if I win, I alone can't stop one hundred thousand Beast Tamers. But if the Hellblood Vine Blossoms spread uncontrollably, they'll definitely draw the entire Qingluan main force."

The Huaxia Federation high command all nodded in agreement.

When the Hellblood Vine Blossoms first appeared in southwestern Xingcheng, the Federation's Academy of Sciences had noticed them, and the Southwest Military had even collected specimens and sent them to the General Headquarters.

Back then, both the Southwest Military and the General Headquarters suspected the Hellblood Vine Blossoms might possess Divine-level potential—or even if not Divine-level, they certainly had the destructive power of a Divine-level beast!

After hundreds of大大小小 battles, the high command knew the terrifying nature of the Hellblood Vine Blossoms inside and out.

With a little guidance and assistance, the thing could cause extinction-level destruction!

Su Yang's control over the Hellblood Vine Blossoms did make the military high command somewhat jealous, but they had no choice—they knew their own limits, and knew that even if they obtained a Divine-level beast, they'd most likely be unable to control it…

Most of them had abundant resources and had indeed tried bonding with high-potential pet beasts.

They knew how impossibly hard it was to "tame" a high-potential pet beast!

"The Hellblood Vine Blossoms need time to form combat strength," Marshal Xu thought for a moment. "And I'd rather you focus on creating trouble for Qingluan than have you face the Phoenix Wing Army alone!"

"Huh?"

"Didn't you say the Qingluan Emperor can't leave right now and might not reach Water Blue Planet for a month?" Marshal Xu slowly analyzed. "If you severely damage the Phoenix Wing Army, that Emperor might then have time to come after you…"

"So…"

"If you really must use the Hellblood Vine Blossoms, I'd prefer you stay hidden," Marshal Xu said seriously. "Delay for a month. Maybe by then, the Qingluan Emperor won't bother with you—he'll focus first on entering Water Blue Planet to find that Yinglong. I think, amidst the chaos of the Hellblood Vine Blossoms, he'll prioritize the Yinglong."

Su Yang raised an eyebrow. "That's not impossible."

Marshal Xu stared into Su Yang's eyes. "General Su, let me ask you—do you have confidence you can become a Divine-level Beast Tamer?"

"I do. But I need time… I'm already an Emperor-level Beast Tamer."

Smiles broke out on Marshal Xu's and the high command's faces.

"Good," Marshal Xu exhaled softly. "Let's delay for a month. If your life's in danger, run. Worst case—we surrender. Wait until you become a Divine-level Beast Tamer, then come back."

Su Yang's face darkened. "Is that really okay? I haven't even started, and you're already preparing for my failure…"

"What's wrong with that? We always prefer to plan for the worst," Marshal Xu chuckled. "What we fear isn't surrender—it's losing hope."

"Fine."

"The Hellblood Vine Blossoms need time to form combat strength…" Marshal Xu mused. "This time, let the General Headquarters also join the preliminary preparations."

"Preliminary preparations?"

"You'll need a massive amount of beast corpses, right?"

"Right."

"Our Federation's frontline forces may not match Qingluan, but we can supply you with beast corpses," Marshal Xu gritted his teeth. "Issue a nationwide wartime mobilization order. Command all eight military districts to hunt beasts relentlessly, deploy stored beast corpses, and concentrate them in one location. You can collect them via the Chuansongzhi Sect. The Sea Beast Tide hasn't ended long—corpses may not be fresh, but there'll still be plenty."

Su Yang murmured, "Won't that be too much trouble?"

"Not at all. If these corpses can buy the Huaxia Federation time, help you fight the Phoenix Wing Army, and resist Qingluan, it's worth it… This is all we can do," Marshal Xu sighed. "This is all we can do."

"General Su, don't be so formal—we should support you anyway!"

"That's right, General Su!"

"..."

The high leadership of the Huaxia Federation overwhelmingly supported Su Yang.

They were unwilling to surrender, even if ordered.

Shi Shi Fanmeng, who had been silent until now, suddenly said: "Actually, even if we can't defeat the Qingluan Nation, we still have other opportunities—we aren't truly in a dead end!"

"What opportunity?"

Everyone in the Federation turned to look at Shi Shi Fanmeng.

Shi Shi Fanmeng whispered: "We could consider delaying the Qingluan Nation's advance, then find an opportunity to destroy the Mermaid Clan's spatial fusion point... Since the Qingluan Nation is too powerful, we won't go to Qingluan Nation!"

General Xu, Su Yang, and the rest of the Federation's high leadership all lit up with sudden insight at Shi Shi Fanmeng's words!

How had they never thought of this!

This was truly another path!

"Of course, the prerequisite is that General Su can defeat that Jin Lin Mermaid!"

Shi Shi Fanmeng looked at Su Yang.

The Federation's high leadership all felt Shi Shi Fanmeng's plan was highly feasible—after all, defeating a single Emperor-level beast was infinitely easier than defeating the Qingluan Nation, especially since the Qingluan Nation had a Divine-level pet beast!

Su Yang said: "General Shi's method is indeed feasible, but I must gain the strength to deal with that Jin Lin Mermaid before the Qingluan Nation launches a full-scale invasion. Defeating that Jin Lin Mermaid won't be easy—I need time!"

General Xu stood up and said: "Then I'll issue a nationwide mobilization order—every day we can delay, we'll take. Also, I'll send elite troops from the General Headquarters to assist you in collecting corpses over there. The powerful beasts in that world must be more numerous than in ours!"
