Chapter 1495: Since Su Yang arrived, it

Su Yang couldn't care less about the phoenix's feelings.

Before entering the room, he had asked the phoenix, but the phoenix refused to go into the beast space.

The room arranged by the city lord was absolutely top-quality; soundproofing was no issue. If the phoenix really heard anything, it could only blame its own sharp ears…

In the morning, when Su Yang and Liu Mengyun were having breakfast, the phoenix finally came out of the room, drawn by the smell.

It was still quite interested in human food.

Before even descending the stairs, the phoenix asked: "What are we eating today?"

"Soy milk and fried dough sticks!"

"Fried dough sticks? I've never eaten them!"

"Phoenix Sister, come down and eat!"

Liu Mengyun called out.

Liu Mengyun was still very courteous to the phoenix.

A divine-tier beast was very important to Su Yang.

"Fine!"

Su Yang whispered to Liu Mengyun: "Are you still working these next few days?"

"Work? In three more days, I'll have finished covering the entire area under the General Headquarters!" Liu Mengyun said. "Once I've reinforced all the shelters in the General Headquarters zone, I want to rest. I've been out for over a month already."

"Good!" Su Yang thought for a moment and said, "Once I drop you off at the next city, I'm going to the Southeast Deep Sea space fusion point to check on Sovereign Jiazi's situation. If the problem isn't serious, I'll be back soon."

"Alright!"

Liu Mengyun knew what Su Yang was worried about.

Su Yang looked at the phoenix: "Is that space crack leading to your territory?"

The phoenix thought for a moment and said: "Mm-hmm."

"Can you send a message over there and tell those fire-element beasts not to enter Water Blue Star?" Su Yang said slowly. "Those fire-element beasts should all obey your orders, right?"

The area the southeastern space crack leads to is extremely harsh, with highly active fire elements—likely quite hidden. If the phoenix's subordinates seal off that location, it would be very difficult for other human beast tamers to discover or break through.

It would also free Sovereign Jiazi in passing.

The phoenix hesitated, then nodded: "Alright."

"Good!"

After dropping off Liu Mengyun, Su Yang opened the Chuansongzhi Sect portal and crossed over with the phoenix.

As soon as they entered the deep sea zone, Su Yang saw a crimson sky.

From the largest space crack, countless fire-element beasts surged out, dyeing the thick cloud layer above red and turning the raging sea crimson as well.

Amidst the storm and torrential rain, the sea roared, waves crashed violently—a scene of apocalypse.

In midair, Sovereign Jiazi frantically unleashed psychic abilities, while Jin Lin the mermaid floated on the sea surface, controlling the towering waves to repeatedly cleanse the fire-element beasts emerging from the space crack.

The human-faced spider stood atop the Bingshan left by Liu Mengyun, also ruthlessly slaughtering those elemental beasts.

On the sea surface, the Jin Lin mermaid clan was also helping to encircle and exterminate them.

Su Yang couldn't help saying: "These fire-element beasts seem to be going mad—why are they coming this way?"

"Once these little ones gather, they love expanding their territory and turning surrounding lands into fiery worlds!" the phoenix replied. "And they naturally hate water."

"What do they want to do?"

"Evaporate the oceans, then trigger the earth's veins to make magma erupt from beneath!"

"Evaporate the ocean? They really have ideas!" Su Yang couldn't help mocking.

"Give them some time—Water Blue Star's oceans might just get evaporated!" the phoenix laughed.

"That joke isn't funny at all."

At that moment, the massive space crack seemed blocked—no more fire-element beasts poured out. Just as Sovereign Jiazi thought the crisis was over, a giant flame hand reached out from the crack.

"Roar~"

In a hoarse, thunderous roar, a hundred-meter-tall flame giant appeared.

The flame giant was entirely composed of crimson fire, with blurred limbs and head, its body covered in rolling magma.

As soon as it appeared, the sea boiled, and countless mermaids fled far away.

Even Liu Mengyun's Bingshan showed signs of melting.

Sovereign Jiazi and Jin Lin wore solemn expressions, sensing the threat…

"Aren't you going to help your subordinate?" the phoenix asked, watching Su Yang stand afar, amused. "Her opponent is a Sovereign-Rank High-Grade fire-element lord—if she gets hurt, don't blame me."

"No need. If she gets hurt that easily, she doesn't deserve to be my subordinate!"

"Didn't realize you were so cold-blooded!"

"I'm just stating a fact. A Sovereign-Rank High-Grade beast isn't enough to threaten Sovereign Jiazi."

Jin Lin currently only has Sovereign-Rank Low-Grade strength.

But her combat power is absolutely not inferior to an ordinary Sovereign-Rank High-Grade beast!

Add to that the fact she's fighting in the ocean—Su Yang couldn't think of any reason Jin Lin would lose.

"That fire-element lord has excellent talent—I discovered and trained it myself during my free time!" the phoenix smiled. "Your subordinate only has a Sovereign-Rank Low-Grade beast—if it gets killed, she'll probably cry!"

Su Yang said seriously: "Sovereign Jiazi's beast is stronger."

"The fire-element lord is my subordinate—excellent talent!"

"Sovereign Jiazi is stronger!"

Su Yang looked at the phoenix; the phoenix glared back. Between them, a silent rivalry began.

The phoenix didn't back down: "Then let's see!"

Su Yang didn't object: "Fine. Let facts speak."

None of them intervened.

The Phoenix did not intervene; it simply wanted to defeat Su Yang.

Su Yang did not intervene; he merely wanted to give Sovereign Jiazi and the others a chance.

Having guarded this place all along, it slightly delayed Sovereign Jiazi's strength enhancement.

This time, the spatial rift was shattered by the Phoenix, allowing a large influx of flame-elemental ferocious beasts—perfect timing for Sovereign Jiazi's strength enhancement.

As for the identities of these flame-elemental ferocious beasts, Su Yang did not care—even if they were the Phoenix's subordinates, what of it?

After all, the Phoenix had not actively tried to save them.

"Master, are you nearby?"

Su Yang heard Jin Lin's mermaid voice.

When Su Yang appeared, Little Fish sensed him immediately, but it was currently on the battlefield, needing to deal not only with the newly emerged Flame-Elemental Lord but also other ferocious beasts, making it inconvenient to divert attention.

"Fight well—let me see how much your strength has improved!"

"Yes, Master!"

Little Fish exclaimed excitedly.

With Su Yang present, Little Fish felt greatly reassured.
