Chapter 1691

Inside the inn room, Elder Long also took out a map of Blue Demon City.

The Blue Demon Imperial Clan's imperial palace was located at the center of Blue Demon City.

The Shenlongshang Alliance branch of Blue Demon City was located to the north of Blue Demon City.

The plan was for Elder Long to hold off any Blue Demon Imperial Clan reinforcements that might come, while Su Yang, Zhou Qian, and Xia Na would strike, taking out this important stronghold of the Shenlongshang Alliance in the Blue Demon Kingdom and looting all the cultivation resources.

"The Blue Demon Kingdom claims to be neutral and not interfere in the struggle between the Shenlongshang Alliance and our Eight Treasures Studio, but they hold a lot of influence within the Shenlongshang Alliance. If I'm not there, they might just make a move on you directly!" Elder Long said. "But even so, don't let your guard down. Either way, on your end, stay careful!"

"Understood!"

"Got it!"

Both Su Yang and Zhou Qian nodded.

Still, Su Yang rather hoped that God-Rank beast-tamer from the Blue Demon Kingdom's imperial clan would also join the fight.

Once outside the territory of the Huaxia Federation, if Su Yang wanted to fight, he wouldn't have to worry about anything at all.

If he could kill a few God-Rank Mid-Grade beast-tamers, then his goal in joining Eight Treasures Studio would also be achieved.

These days, divine beasts were hard to find, but God-Rank beast-tamers were still relatively easy to find.

And every single one of them was a big experience gift pack!

By the second half of the night, around three in the morning.

The four of them simultaneously appeared above the inn.

"Move out!"

With a grand wave of his hand, Elder Long summoned his God-Rank pet beast and charged straight toward the Blue Demon Kingdom's imperial palace.

Zhou Qian said, "Let's go too!"

"Alright!"

The three of them charged straight toward the Shenlongshang Alliance branch stronghold.

The Shenlongshang Alliance's branch stronghold was very easy to identify.

In the northern district, the tallest building was it.

"This time I'll take the main attack!"

Su Yang said to Zhou Qian.

"Alright!"

Zhou Qian had no objections.

After all, the operation's benefits had already been divided up.

Su Yang had volunteered to take the main attack; he couldn't possibly refuse.

Moreover, having crossed hands with Su Yang, Zhou Qian was also convinced of Su Yang's strength.

With the Earth Fury Bear inside his body, Su Yang simply floated over.

Xia Na directly condensed wings of wind and flew through the air.

Zhou Qian rode a wind-type Sovereign-Rank Top-Grade pet beast — clearly this guy didn't have a divine beast skilled in flight!

Before they had even reached the Shenlongshang Alliance branch, a powerful surge of energy erupted from the Blue Demon Kingdom's imperial palace.

Inside the Shenlongshang Alliance branch, a God-Rank beast-tamer appeared on the rooftop.

He had been startled by what was happening over at the imperial palace!

In an instant, accompanied by an eerie surge of energy, the energy of the Earth Fury Bear inside Su Yang's body stalled, and the heaven and earth energy in the air was instantly emptied out.

Zhou Qian whispered a reminder: "The Blue Demon Imperial Capital's defensive grand formation has been activated!"

Su Yang said, "Good, we'll finish this fast!"

Elder Long had mentioned the Blue Demon Imperial Capital's defensive formation to them.

Once Blue Demon City's defensive formation activated, not only would spatial skills be restricted.

Within the formation, any divine beast whose strength did not exceed God-Rank Mid-Grade would suffer a major drop in power.

The strength of a God-Rank Mid-Grade divine beast would be suppressed down to Sovereign-Rank Top-Grade.

The strength of a God-Rank Low-Grade divine beast would be suppressed down to Sovereign-Rank High-Grade.

This kind of terrifying formation was generally only deployed in the capitals of powerful nations.

Without a highly skilled formation master, don't even think about setting up such a formation.

Moreover, maintaining this kind of formation consumed crystal cores extremely heavily.

Generally, the energy core was a God-Rank High-Grade crystal core.

In Su Yang's heart, there wasn't a trace of panic.

Because this kind of formation restricted everyone indiscriminately!

As long as one entered the formation's range, every beast-tamer's strength would be restricted.

"Kill!"

Su Yang directly summoned the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly.

Eight Treasures Studio had dispatched God-Rank beast-tamers not only to ensure the kill and finish things quickly, but also to keep the treasure resources as intact as possible.

If a real big battle broke out, the things they could plunder would be far fewer.

That God-Rank beast-tamer of the Shenlongshang Alliance also immediately spotted Su Yang's group.

He immediately summoned a fire-type divine beast and launched an attack at Su Yang and the others……

"Sister Xiao Die, Spirit Storm!"

Su Yang shouted in his heart to the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly.

Super burst!

The terrifying soul ability, even restricted by Blue Demon City's formation, still erupted with the might of a Sovereign-Rank Top-Grade beast-tamer.

However, that Divine-Rank Beast-Tamer's eyes remained clear.

It seemed he had not been hit by the soul-energy attack.

The Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly looked at Su Yang with a helpless expression.

"This formation is still quite formidable!"

Su Yang sighed softly.

He had only wanted to test with full force just how strong the formations of this world were.

The result matched Elder Long's words exactly.

The Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly's attack had been weakened terribly!

At the same time, the opponent's fire-type Divine Beast also launched an attack.

Seeing the opponent's skill, Su Yang didn't even entertain the thought of blocking it.

That was indeed the power of a Sovereign-Rank High-Grade pet beast — any one of his pet beasts that possessed the Mythical-Grade Fire Resistance talent could take it on with ease.

All of the pet beasts' skills had been weakened.

The only thing not weakened was the defense and resistance inherent to the Divine Beast's body!

Seeing the attack, Xia Na conjured a Wind Barrier and blocked the opponent's strike.

The Wind Barrier's strength was only at Sovereign-Rank High-Grade level, but it was enough to block the opponent's attack!

If it were their first time encountering this kind of energy-weakening formation, an ordinary Divine-Rank Beast-Tamer would truly have trouble adapting.

At this moment, the opponent's Divine-Rank Beast-Tamer had already summoned a wind-element Divine Beast, riding the gale in an attempt to flee.

Having already gauged the strength of Su Yang and the others, choosing to flee was the wisest move.

"Think you can escape?" Su Yang said with a cold laugh. "You two go seize the resources — leave that Divine-Rank Beast-Tamer to me!"

"Got it!"

Without a word of hesitation, Xia Na charged toward the Shenlongshang Alliance.

Zhou Qian could only nod.

He didn't have a wind-type Divine Beast, so he definitely couldn't catch up to the opponent.

Su Yang had been the main attacker from the start.

"Come out! Storm Eagle!"

The Storm Eagle appeared beneath Su Yang's feet.

"Catch up and engage in close combat!"

Energy skills that possessed terrifying destructive power had already been weakened.

But the talents that existed within the physical body could not possibly be weakened.

The strength, speed, and defense that a Divine Beast should possess remained intact.
