Chapter 177

"How could this happen..."

"It's fine. If the number of Bronze-level ferocious beasts drops sharply, the mission standards above will be lowered too. Based on my years of experience, the standards will drop soon... You're not the only ones who haven't completed your missions—the Bronze-level beast tamer teams in other reclamation battalions are suffering even more!"

Back in Qixing City, Su Yang stayed at home for three days.

During those three days, he met Su Wan.

Su Wan came bearing gifts.

"What does this mean?"

"I'm thanking you!" Su Wan smiled. "My father has finally allowed me to join the reclamation force!"

"I just said it offhand!" Su Yang laughed. "Which reclamation battalion?"

"The First Mobile Battalion."

"That's really great!"

"Now we're comrades!"

"Yeah, keep it up!"

"I will!"

After Su Wan left, Su Yang returned punctually to the Thirteenth Mobile Battalion on the third afternoon.

As soon as he entered the First Squad camp, Su Yang heard a chorus of wailing.

"Are you greeting me like this?"

"Su Yang, why didn't you rest a few more days? If you'd requested leave, Captain He would've approved it!"

"I can't sit still!" Su Yang laughed. "Don't worry—I won't touch any Bronze-level ferocious beasts anymore!"

"Brother Su, you're a god!"

Anyone in Qixing City can kill ferocious beasts.

But Su Yang didn't want to go too far.

Why did Su Liqun kill only Platinum-level ferocious beasts and leave the Gold-level and Bai Yin-level ones alone?

If he had wiped out all the ferocious beasts on Mount Qixing, wouldn't the reclamation force have lost fewer personnel?

Su Yang understood: Su Liqun merely wanted to leave this slightly safer area to the reclamation force's beast tamers, so they could train and hone their skills fighting on Mount Qixing.

He'd nearly wiped out the three Bronze-level ferocious beast clans on Mount Qixing.

For him to go hunt those small Bronze-level groups would be less efficient than chasing after Bai Yin-level beasts.

With the legendary talent "Eagle Eye" from Stormhawk and the rare talent "Keen Smell" from Earthquake Bear, Su Yang now possessed the ability to swiftly locate Bai Yin-level and Gold-level ferocious beasts.

Two months passed peacefully; Su Yang had almost no rivals on Mount Qixing.

After Xingcheng was destroyed, Qixing City had remained calm.

The only change was that the daily mission standards for Qixing City's reclamation force beast tamers were lowered across the board!

The ferocious beasts in Hui'an Mountains showed no signs of uprising.

The Hellblood Vine likely played a role in this too.

After all, the Hellblood Vine had not only destroyed Qixing City but also devastated the outer regions of Hui'an Mountains' ferocious beasts!

"Ding~ Congratulations, host! Your pet Stormhawk has upgraded to Gold Low-Grade!"

"Ding~ Congratulations, host! Your Stormhawk has learned the skill—Feather Arrow!"

Upon learning Stormhawk had upgraded again, Su Yang's face broke into a satisfied smile.

He had finally become a Gold-level beast tamer before the Southwest Cities' Youth Genius Competition!

In three days, he would depart Qixing City!
