Chapter 214: Changwu City Is Not Absolutely Safe! Yandang Mountains!

The thirteen squads of the Emergency Unit did not always deploy all nearly a hundred beast-tamers together on every mission.

Sometimes, when missions were simple and posed low danger, they would flexibly send out teams of ten or even five.

At such times, squad leaders would try to assign a beast-tamer skilled in reconnaissance to each team.

All the Gold-rank beast-tamers present knew that Su Yang, as the top genius of the southwestern region, was likely quite proud.

Since he dared claim he excelled in visual reconnaissance and scent tracking, his abilities in those areas certainly could not be weak!

Beast-tamers like Su Yang, who were skilled in both combat and reconnaissance, were welcome wherever they went.

Even Shi You looked at Su Yang and felt his squad had struck gold!

In truth, Su Yang was still holding back.

He had not revealed his most formidable Mythic-tier talent: Crisis Sensing.

He felt it was better not to let this ability become public knowledge.

What if some humans targeted him because of it?

Even without speaking of it, once he joined a squad on missions, he could simply warn his teammates when danger arose!

No problem!

At that moment, someone spoke up: "Su Yang, could we test your visual reconnaissance and scent tracking abilities, so we have some idea of your level?"

Everyone turned their heads and saw Captain Zhu Xiaoshuang standing beside the square.

"Of course!"

Zhu Xiaoshuang told the members of the Seventh Squad: "You're dismissed!"

Soon, Zhu Xiaoshuang arranged for specialists to test Su Yang's two abilities.

The test results left Zhu Xiaoshuang and Shi You deeply shocked.

Reconnaissance ratings were divided into Third-Class, Second-Class, First-Class, and Special-Class!

Third-Class referred to beasts with naturally keen senses but no innate scent-tracking talent.
