Chapter 243: They Need Your Help to Restore Their Power!
"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Silver Mid-Grade Black Gold Armor Spider, +100000 XP!"
"!"
"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Silver High-Grade Black Gold Armor Spider, +300000 XP!"
"!"
"…"
After several consecutive upgrades, all the Black Gold Armor Spiders outside the nest were dead—except the two controlled by the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly!
Su Yang's Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, with its Mythic-level Mental Domination talent, was truly terrifying!
Even controlling beasts one tier higher was effortless!
The dying screams of the Black Gold Armor Spiders immediately stirred up chaos inside the nest.
But since the nest had just begun construction, the entrance was narrow, allowing only two Black Gold Armor Spiders to enter or exit at once.
The two Golden-grade Black Gold Armor Spiders controlled by the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly took position directly above the entrance.
Every Black Gold Armor Spider that emerged would face attack from above!
One Iron, Bronze, or Silver-grade Black Gold Armor Spider emerged—then died.
The blade-legs of the Golden-grade Black Gold Armor Spiders could easily pierce through their own Black Gold Armor.
At that moment, two larger Gold High-Grade Black Gold Armor Spiders leapt out of the nest.
As soon as they emerged, they were attacked by the two puppet Black Gold Armor Spiders controlled by the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly.
"Ding-dang!"
Blade-legs sparked against their Black Gold Armor.
No penetration!
The two Gold High-Grade Black Gold Armor Spiders began frenziedly attacking the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's two puppets.
It was a complete, one-sided crushing!
Just as the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's two puppets lost several blade-legs and were about to collapse, the two powerful Gold High-Grade Black Gold Armor Spiders suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground in a ridiculous manner.
But soon, they rose again—and stood beside the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's two puppets!
Four puppets!
The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly fluttered its wings slightly, its antennae twitching, and the two new Gold High-Grade puppets killed the two Gold Low-Grade puppets, badly wounded and sluggish in movement!
Those two legless Black Gold Armor Spiders had drastically reduced combat power and drained the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's energy—killing them was the best choice!
"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Gold Low-Grade Black Gold Armor Spider, +3,000,000 XP!"
"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Gold Low-Grade Black Gold Armor Spider, +3,000,000 XP!"
Soon, more Black Gold Armor Spiders emerged from the nest—but each was swiftly slain by the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's two powerful puppets!
When no more Black Gold Armor Spiders emerged from the nest, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly sent three Gold High-Grade Black Gold Armor Spiders into the spider nest…
"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has leveled up to Gold Low-Grade!"
After clearing all Black Gold Armor Spiders from the nest, the three controlled Black Gold Armor Spiders each committed suicide before it.
Throughout the entire battle, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly never showed itself—yet it annihilated an entire Black Gold Armor Spider nest!
Its abilities were so bizarre they sent chills down the spine!
But now, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly was utterly exhausted.
Su Yang knew the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly had pushed itself to its limit.
With Silver Top-Grade power, controlling three Gold High-Grade Black Gold Armor Spiders across a full tier was no small feat.
"Ding~ The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly has successfully eradicated forty-seven Black Gold Armor Spiders in the nest!"
"Mission complete: The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's Common-level Mental Resistance talent has upgraded to Rare-level Mental Resistance!"
"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's talent has improved: its growth potential has risen from King-Rank Low-Grade to King-Rank Mid-Grade!"
No matter which talent improved, Su Yang was delighted.
With enhanced Mental Resistance, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly would gain a significant advantage against mental-type beasts.
Come to think of it, the Earthquake Bear also had a Rare-level Mental Resistance talent…
After collecting the Black Gold Armor Spiders' core crystals, Su Yang also stripped the Black Gold Armor from the three Gold High-Grade ones.
He did not discard their eight blade-legs either.
Materials from Iron, Bronze, and Silver-grade beasts were mostly worthless.
Once a beast reached Gold-grade, its materials became valuable.
The Black Gold Armor of the Black Gold Armor Spider, after simple processing, could be made into defensive armor.
The eight blade-legs of the Black Gold Armor Spider could also be ground into blades and daggers—extremely sharp, capable of easily piercing through the defenses of nearly all Silver-grade beasts.
But Gold-grade blades, swords, and defensive armor were of little use to Su Yang.
No blade or sword was as reliable as his fists.
Blades could be blocked by beast armor.
But fist power could not be stopped by ordinary armor—it still inflicted massive damage through the armor.
Su Yang's ideal weapon was still heavy weaponry!
Like clubs, heavy axes, heavy hammers!
Yet Su Yang's strength, as the Earthquake Bear grew rapidly, was still increasing swiftly.
Buy a suitable heavy weapon today, and tomorrow it might already feel too light!
The same applied to defensive armor.
The Earthquake Bear's talent was truly a perfect fusion of offense and defense!
"Storm Eagle, let's go—to the next location!"
Now is also a good time to kill Gold-grade ferocious beasts; if you go to Mount Yandang, the military won't give you intelligence on the locations of Gold-grade ferocious beasts!
Five more days passed, and the Storm Eagle upgraded to Gold High-Grade, catching up to the Hellblood Vine Flower.
But at this moment, Zhu Zhu Xiaoshuang appeared and announced that the Seventh and Eighth Emergency Squads were heading to Wucheng.
