Chapter 43: Excluded and Isolated

"Thanks for the reminder, I got it!"

Su Yang replied neither servile nor overbearing.

In the eyes of the Class 1, Grade 3 students, Su Yang's attitude wasn't confidence — it was sheer arrogance!

After all, no student in Class 1, Grade 3 had ever dared to hunt fierce beasts alone in this area!

"You!"

Chen Dong's face darkened, and he said to Teacher Xu Yuanxiong: "Teacher, may I have a match against this annoying guy?"

Xu Yuanxiong looked at Su Yang: "That requires Su Yang's consent!"

"I agree!"

Su Yang nodded without the slightest hesitation.

He had already figured it out — in Class 1, Grade 3, he wasn't exactly welcome either.

It seemed he was still being isolated and ostracized!

Perhaps because he had skipped grades, perhaps because he was born a commoner…

But Su Yang couldn't care less about any of it.

As far as he was concerned, it wasn't him being isolated and ostracized by his classmates!

It was him alone, isolating and ostracizing… every single other person in the class!

Xu Yuanxiong hadn't expected Su Yang to agree to the match so readily, but since Su Yang had agreed, the match would proceed!

"Then I'll preside over this match!" Xu Yuanxiong said in a low voice. "The rules are simple — both sides send out their companion beasts to fight, until one side loses the ability to fight or surrenders. Any questions?"

Su Yang: "None!"

Chen Dong: "None!"

Xu Yuanxiong: "Both sides, summon your companion beasts!"

The students of Class 1, Grade 3 formed a ring around the match area, watching Su Yang with gleeful schadenfreude, eager to see how Chen Dong would beat him until his teeth were scattered across the ground.

"Chen Dong's strength in our Class 1 is only middling-to-lower, but in any other commoner class of Grade 3, he'd be among the very best. His Gale Leopard must be at least Black-Iron High-Grade by now, right?"

"Right, Chen Hao's Gale Leopard is indeed Black-Iron High-Grade. Su Yang is done for!"

"I really can't figure out why the school let Su Yang skip grades into our Class 1. Why couldn't they put him in Class 2 or Class 3?"

"Newcomers need to be taught a lesson, otherwise his tail will stick up to the sky!"

"Just a commoner!"

"Serves him right. Honestly, I've had it in for Su Yang for a long time — he's way too arrogant!"

"Could it be because of the Su Wan thing?"

"Shut your mouth!"

"…"

With a wave of his hand, a yellow spotted big cat appeared before Chen Dong.

This big cat was three meters long, over a meter tall, its body musculature streamlined, giving off a dynamic sense of beauty at first glance.

Su Yang glanced at the big cat's detailed information.

Gale Leopard!

Wind element, Black-Iron High-Grade strength, potential Silver rank!

Its strength indeed far surpassed that of a Grade 1 freshman!

A Class 1 student shouted loudly: "Chen Dong, go easy on him — don't hurt the little junior!"

Someone else shouted: "Yeah! Take it easy! Don't make the little junior cry!"

"We're not responsible for soothing him!"

"…"

Hearing these words, Su Yang felt a flicker of anger in his heart.

Just then, he heard the system's prompt tone:

"Ding~ Mission issued: Born a commoner, having provoked Su Wan, and having skipped grades into Class 1, Grade 3, you have drawn the ostracism and resentment of most members of Class 1, Grade 3. As a newcomer, you need to use your strength to make them sincerely convinced!"
