Chapter 554: High-Level Spy of the Shoushen Sect! High-Ranking Military Official!

The heads of two Starlight-grade Beast Taming Masters are worth a fortune.

Su Yang chose to kill them outright, fearing they might completely destroy their own heads.

He had encountered this before during the clearance of the Shoushen Sect in the southwest.

After dismantling so many Shoushen Sect outposts in the southwest, some fugitives always slipped through.

The Shoushen Sect likely knew something of Su Yang's Seven-Colored Illusory Butterfly ability.

Su Yang never underestimated them.

The general store was thoroughly searched, and they found three other low-grade Beast Taming Masters frozen into unconsciousness.

In the half-collapsed basement, the city guard found a group of missing girls and a Shoushen idol.

And a pit filled with an unknown number of corpses, the topmost of which were already rotting.

"This is used by the Shoushen Sect for sacrifices!" Zhou Wanshan said, staring at the pit reeking of decay. "The Shoushen Sect favors live human sacrifices to their beast god. Some fanatical, desperate believers even volunteer themselves as Sacrifices, believing this will return them to the embrace of the beast god."

"Mm."

Su Yang already knew all this intelligence.

He had seen it before in the southwest.

The intelligence inside the brains of the two Starlight-grade Beast Taming Masters was extremely valuable.

They were, in fact, the leaders of the Shoushen Sect's intelligence network in Yilan City.

After hearing this intelligence, Su Yang and his team located three households near the general store.

These three households appeared ordinary, but each was home to a Shoushen Sect spy—just not one who lived inside the general store.

But now, they were all unconscious.

After obtaining accurate intelligence, Zhou Wanshan sent men out to apprehend them.

Su Yang also dispatched some members of his emergency squad to assist.

Arresting so many people at once, even the High-ranking military officials of the Western Army could not quickly mobilize enough manpower.

After all arrangements were made, Su Yang, Zhou Wanshan, and Tao Sheng were not particularly pleased.

Because, according to the memories of one Starlight-grade Beast Taming Master, the Shoushen Sect had planted a high-level spy among the High-ranking military officials of the Western Army!
