Chapter 7

"Let's go together!"

"Mm!"

Just as they stepped beyond the borders of White Ant Town, Su Xiaoxiao grabbed her brother's hand.

"Brother, do you have a pet beast? Can I see it?"

"Sure!"

Su Yang also felt it was time to let the Storm Eagle stretch its wings!

Su Yang gestured with his hand, and the Storm Eagle shot skyward, soaring straight into the blue heavens!

Su Xiaoxiao tugged at Su Yang's sleeve, mouth wide open, staring at the dark shadow in the sky.

"Is that an eagle?"

"Yes, it's an eagle!"

"So powerful!"

The young Storm Eagle circled the sky once, then spiraled down and landed on Su Yang's shoulder, calmly preening its black feathers.

Su Yang looked at the Storm Eagle on his shoulder, and its detailed stats appeared.

【Name】: Storm Eagle

【Talent】:

1. Child of the Storm (Mythic); 2. Swift Speed (Rare); 3. Eagle Eye (Common).

【Growth Potential】: King-Rank Top-Grade

【Strength Rank】: Black-Iron Low-Grade

【Experience】: 0/100

【Attributes】: Flight, Wind

【Loyalty】: 99

【Skills】:

1. Wind Blade; 2. Gale Speed; 3. Rapid Ambush Kill.

Born just now, already possessing three skills—the Storm Eagle was already formidable!

When Su Yang bonded with the Storm Eagle as his pet beast, he had noticed the "experience" value.

He believed his Storm Eagle would grow rapidly.

"Help! Help!"

"My son, my son! Someone save my son!"

"…"

At that moment, Su Yang suddenly heard a woman's cries for help.

He looked up toward the source of the cries—a large black bird was snatching a child and flying into the sky!

A young, strong woman screamed as she chased after the direction the black bird flew.

Mutated Sparrow!

The most widespread and numerous avian beast in the Huaxia Federation, typically only Black-Iron rank, but adult Mutated Sparrows can have wingspans of three to four meters; they most love to attack human children, teenagers, and some weak adults.

They were the most hated beast by all residents of Huaxia settlements!

Even if beast-tamers guarded fiercely, the sky was too vast—there were always some that slipped through!

"Ding~ Quest released: Kill the Mutated Sparrow and rescue the child from its grasp, gain 100 experience points!"

Su Yang did not immediately command the Storm Eagle; instead, he first checked the Mutated Sparrow's detailed info.

【Name】: Mutated Sparrow

【Talent】: None

【Growth Potential】: Black-Iron High-Grade

【Strength Rank】: Black-Iron High-Grade

【Attributes】: Flight, Wind

【Skills】:

1. Wind Blade; 2. Gale Speed.

Su Yang turned to the Storm Eagle on his shoulder: "I want to save that child. Can you defeat that Wind-type Black-Iron High-Grade Mutated Sparrow? If not, forget it—we'll hunt these sparrows later when your level rises!"

The level gap was significant; risking a Storm Eagle just born for a quest was certainly not worth it!

The Storm Eagle, hearing Su Yang's words, narrowed its fierce pupils, kicked off with its legs, and flapped its wings straight toward the Mutated Sparrow.
