Chapter 845: Small-Scale National War Task! They don

The Southeast Military Department must guard against sea beasts, and on land they are equally threatened by ferocious beasts!

The forces that can be mobilized are truly few.

Meanwhile, all the elite beast-taming masters in Zhanghai City who could be urgently summoned are tied up by the Youth Genius Beast-Tamer Competition!

Su Yang said slowly: "For example, we design a new elimination format that doesn't need any judges—just eliminate the vast majority of contestants directly, then jump straight to the semifinals. That way, we can free up most of the judges!"

"This idea is great!"

Qian Qian Hailong slammed his fist on the table and shouted in agreement.

An Hang nodded: "Commander Su's idea is excellent!"

Colonel Liu Yun also agreed: "I think it's good too, but changing the competition format at the last minute is tight—we issued the military announcement a month ago, and the elimination round must be held tomorrow!"

Qian Qian Hailong stared at Su Yang and asked: "Major Su Yang, do you have a good solution?"

An Hang and Liu Yun both turned to look at Su Yang.

They seemed to have great confidence in him!

"Uh…"

In such a rush, how could Su Yang possibly have a good solution?

But just then, Su Yang received a system notification:

"Ding~ Task released: Successfully revise the rules of the Southeast Youth Genius Beast-Tamer Competition to facilitate the Southeast Military Department's mobilization of elite beast-taming masters to investigate the destruction of Bohai City!"

"Ding~ Task reward: Two talent points awarded, can enhance any one pet's talent ability!"

The reward is quite decent!

Since the system had issued the task, Su Yang could not possibly abandon it.

Since acquiring the system, Su Yang had never abandoned a single task!

Forced onto the stage… he'd have to jump in anyway!

"If General Qian trusts me, leave it to me!" He took a deep breath and decided to go all in. "Arrange for me a nearby mountain peak with many steps. Tell me how many to eliminate, and I'll eliminate exactly that many—and they won't be able to complain after being eliminated!"

"Can you explain exactly how you'll do it?" Qian Qian Hailong said seriously. "The Southeast Youth Genius Beast-Tamer Competition concerns the reputation of the entire Southeast region—it cannot be taken lightly. If your method is truly suitable, I will appoint you as Chief Officer of the Elimination Round!"

Su Yang briefly explained his idea to Qian Qian Hailong.

After hearing it, Qian Qian Hailong, An Hang, and Liu Yun tried it out in their minds, all agreed the method was feasible—it saved tremendous time and manpower—and they immediately approved it!

Qian Qian Hailong urgently appointed Su Yang as Chief Officer of the Southeast Youth Genius Beast-Tamer Competition Elimination Round and dispatched Liu Yun to select a site for Su Yang overnight!

He had solved a major headache for Qian Qian Hailong.

Qian Qian Hailong and An Hang both looked relieved.

Su Yang seized the opportunity to propose: "General Qian, can I join you on this mission to Bohai City? I also want to help ease the burden on the Southeast Military Department!"

That group had destroyed an entire Bohai City—their strength must be immense, as An Hang said, at least three King-level beast-tamers.

Su Yang's recent pets have upgraded very slowly; even with Storm Eagle, it's hard to find King-level ferocious beasts.

Fortunately, these hostile forces have several King-level beast-tamers—they must have many King-level pets!

Moreover, Su Yang might even get a new task by chance!

The military's tasks issued to him are mostly responded to by the system!

Especially those that are difficult and have massive impact!

Last time he participated in the extermination of the Shoushen Sect Sect, Su Yang had already tasted the benefits!

Hearing Su Yang's words, Qian Qian Hailong looked genuinely pleased, feeling Su Yang had high ideological awareness and great responsibility.

"Major Su Yang, I believe in your strength, and I want you to go—but the Youth Genius Beast-Tamer Competition can't do without you, and they must depart tonight—you probably won't make it!"

"I only need one day to complete the elimination round!" Su Yang pleaded earnestly. "My Void Wandering Spirit can now perform spatial teleportation—I can travel from Mount Dajiao to Zhanghai City in just minutes!"

This matter doesn't need to be kept secret.

The military will find out sooner or later.

Unless he doesn't use it!

But is Su Yang that foolish?

Such a convenient travel skill certainly shouldn't be hidden!

After all, no one would ever compete with him for the Void Wandering Spirit!

"What? How many people can it carry?"

Qian Qian Hailong stood up from his chair.

Su Yang said awkwardly: "Currently, only two or three people…"

"That's still excellent!" Qian Qian Hailong praised. "With spatial teleportation, you can move freely throughout the Southeast region!"

Su Yang smiled and asked: "Can I join Deputy Commander An and the others? They're passing through Tian Xincheng—I just went there, so I'll wait for them there!"

Qian Qian Hailong laughed heartily: "Since you volunteered, I certainly won't refuse you… Honestly, if you go with us, I'm even more at ease—I know your abilities!"

Qian Qian Hailong was not flattering Su Yang—he was stating facts!

Su Yang's terrifying strength and uncanny reconnaissance abilities had spread throughout the Huaxia Federation.

Even Shoushen Sect Sect followers turned pale at the mention of Su Yang's name!

Their mission required not just combat, but first locating the enemy—if Su Yang could go, it would be perfect!

"Ding~ Small-scale national war task released: Assist the Southeast Military Department in crushing an unknown foreign force!"

"Ding~ After this task is completed, the system will rate your task performance!"

"~ Task ratings: Failing, Passing, Good, Excellent, Perfect!"

"Ding~ Task reward: As follows!"

"Perfect rating reward: All your pets gain one selectable Mythic-tier resistance talent (also applies to future bonded pets), one random elemental attribute enhancement opportunity for a mutated pet, one Perfect-tier large-area buff skill, and one mandatory pet cultivation contract scroll!"

"Excellent rating reward: One random elemental attribute enhancement opportunity for a mutated pet, one Perfect-tier large-area buff skill, and one mandatory pet cultivation contract scroll!"

"Excellent rating reward: one Perfect-grade large-scale buff-type skill, one mandatory pet cultivation contract scroll!"

"Qualified rating reward: one mandatory pet cultivation contract scroll!"

"Unqualified: no reward!"

Su Yang froze after reading the system quest announcement!

He wasn't startled by the quest's generous rewards.

It was because of the two words "Nation War"!
