Chapter 848

Beside him, someone said: "Honestly, I'd rather see City Lord Su Yang make a move, but I heard he's not eligible to compete!"

"If City Lord Su makes a move, wouldn't that be bullying?"

"These youngsters, all of them combined, would be enough for City Lord Su to fight!"

"The City Lord is too strong — he is the true child of heaven!"

66 【Announcement from the Southeast Military Department: the official preliminary round begins at nine. It's now 8:55, ten minutes left. Why has the military department only brought this few people? They wouldn't be postponing the match, would they?"】

"They shouldn't be. The people from the military department are always punctual!"

"......"

Inside the Precious Treasure Pavilion, they stood out conspicuously.

They wore a unified uniform, and had even set up sunshade tents and tables and chairs outside the venue.

At the foot of Mount Qingliang, Su Yang mingled among more than ten soldiers, chatting casually with them.

Just at this moment, Qian Hailong's adjutant ran over to tell Su Yang: "Lieutenant Colonel Su, the preliminary round begins in ten minutes. Be ready!"

Su Yang nodded: "Understood!"

While the gathered onlooking commoners and beast tamers were chattering away, and some contestants were getting a little impatient waiting, a young soldier in a crisp military uniform, tall, handsome, with a cold expression, descended from midair.

Su Yang's face grew stern. Sweeping his gaze over the crowd below and seeing them still making a racket, he called out: "Everyone quiet down!"

Su Yang's words, like a clap of thunder, exploded in the ears of tens of thousands.

The entire scene instantly fell silent.

Everyone gazed up at him, wanting to hear what he had to say.

Facing tens of thousands, Su Yang was not in the least intimidated.

Tens of thousands of people were certainly not as terrifying as tens of thousands of fierce beasts!

Su Yang announced in a deep voice: "This Southeast Region Young Genius Beast Tamer Martial Competition — I will serve as the on-site chief examiner for the preliminary round."
