Chapter 850

Many veteran Beast Tamers couldn't help but nod.

A genius who dies young isn't truly a genius!

Only a genius who survives is a true genius!

"The rules for this preliminary round are very simple — climb the Liangshan Stone Steps of Mount Qingliang!" Su Yang pointed at Mount Qingliang and said: "I will use my two dragon beasts to set up a force field and Illusory Realm pressure at the summit of Mount Qingliang to test your defense, speed, and willpower. You must endure the dual trial of physique and will!"

"The higher you climb, the better your ranking. The top sixteen will qualify for the semifinals; everyone else is eliminated!"

"You may only use one bonded beast throughout, but you may switch bonded beasts freely... after all, your beast companion is also part of your strength!"

Tens of thousands of people were stunned.

They hadn't expected Su Yang to set the competition rules this way.

Testing physique and will in the preliminary round — this rule has no real fault!

The Beast Tamers all conceded this point!

The question is, using his two beasts to test nearly a thousand young geniuses from the major cities of the southeast?

That seems rather contemptuous of people!

A female fan from Shi Zhuang said in a low voice: "This Su Yang is a complete arrogant madman!"

Those nearby who heard this didn't object either.

Su Yang's move was indeed somewhat arrogant!

If not for fear of Su Yang's strength and status, among those tens of thousands, some would have started cursing outright!

After finishing the competition rules, Su Yang asked as usual: "Contestants, do you have any questions about the rules?"

The moment Su Yang finished speaking, Shi Jie and Jin Long — these two celebrated geniuses of the southeast — rose to their feet at the same time!
