Chapter 853: Mount Qingliang Crushed by Gravity! The Competition Grounds Are Generated!

The Prismatic Illusion Butterfly sensed briefly and found that Su Yang didn't seem to have lied to it.

"Master, I understand what you mean. I'll let them have a proper trial!"

The Prismatic Illusion Butterfly spread its wings, and its originally gorgeous, oversized wings instantly lost their color.

Countless eye-like patterns appeared on the Prismatic Illusion Butterfly's wings.

Every time Su Yang saw those gazes, he felt a bit uncomfortable.

Su Yang turned his head aside and said: "Next, it's time to use the Earth Burst energy!"

The force-field attribute energy erupted, and an invisible pressure spread outward with Su Yang at its center.

Beside Su Yang, wild grass flattened and shrubs snapped instantly.

In less than five minutes, the tens of thousands of people on Mount Qingliang witnessed a startling scene.

The trees on Mount Qingliang, from the peak downward, were snapped one ring after another by an invisible force!

Someone shouted: "Look, Mount Qingliang looks like it's going to collapse!"

On the over-thousand-meter Mount Qingliang, some falling rocks began sliding down the mountain path.

Many people began to retreat.

If Mount Qingliang really collapsed, that would be a very dangerous thing.

Most of these spectators were ordinary civilians and low-level beast tamers, and they couldn't withstand the force!

But the crowd's worry didn't become reality—Mount Qingliang hadn't collapsed.

However, very soon, something even more terrifying than Mount Qingliang collapsing arrived.

Many people noticed that the originally towering main peak of Mount Qingliang, which pierced the clouds, seemed to begin sinking.

Originally, the peak of Mount Qingliang was wreathed in clouds and mist, a scene of mystery.

But tonight, the peak of Mount Qingliang had already descended below the clouds, appearing clearly before everyone's eyes.

Three demonized sparrows hidden within Mount Qingliang suddenly scattered out from the mountain.

But the moment they flew fifty meters, they were forcibly dragged back into the mountain by a mysterious force.

They fell onto the rocks, being crushed mercilessly by the force field.

Their internal organs burst, blood gushed out, bones shattered, until they were pressed into thin pancakes!

Down the mountain, when those present thought the shortening of Mount Qingliang was just an illusion, someone shouted: "Look at the stone steps!"

Everyone looked at the ancient stone steps winding up to the main peak of Mount Qingliang—those stone steps were crumbling.

Countless rocks split apart, broken trees were squeezed together, as if an invisible giant force had surrounded Mount Qingliang and was viciously crushing it!

Squeezing again!

"What is Su Yang doing?"

"What the hell kind of power is this?"

"I can even feel that gravity!"

"If we were on Mount Qingliang right now, we'd probably be squashed into meat patties, right?"

"......

After nine minutes passed, the tens of thousands of people had fallen silent.

At this moment, they all began to feel some sympathy for those contestants!

The originally over-thousand-meter-tall Mount Qingliang had now been compressed into a small peak of about five hundred meters.

Not even a single rock with a slightly sharp edge remained!

On the mountain, apart from rocks and tightly packed soil, only some compressed plant mixtures remained!

Mount Qingliang was gone.

What remained was a small peak with an overwhelming sense of pressure.

Anyone who saw this small hilltop would feel a heavy, uncomfortable sensation in their heart, as if something were pressing on it.

A beast tamer sighed: "Before, I thought Liu Mengyun sealing Mount Dajiao in ice was already incredibly impressive... I didn't expect Su Yang to nearly press Mount Qingliang into a pancake!"

"One minute, repair the steps!"

On the peak, Su Yang temporarily withdrew the force field and gave orders to the beast tamers waiting below the mountain.

The original stone steps of Mount Qingliang had long been crushed apart by Su Yang!

The seven military Gold-rank beast tamers and one Platinum-rank beast tamer who had long been prepared summoned their earth-type and rock-type pets, and in less than a minute, they built wide steps!

Each of these steps was fifty meters long, specifically to prevent the contestants from interfering with each other.

"Contestants, you have eight hours to climb to the peak of Mount Qingliang. You must not deliberately interfere with others during this time—violators will be directly disqualified from the competition!" Saying this, Su Yang smiled, "I'll be waiting for you at the peak. I hope you won't disappoint me!"

"You may step onto the platform now!" a member of the Southeast Military Region reminded.

Those contestants rushed toward the Liangshan Stone Steps one by one.

Their thinking was simple—they all felt that whoever climbed Shi Kan first would have the advantage!

Shi Zhuang looked at Yu Long. This Southeast Youth Genius Beast Tamer Competition's most threatening opponent to him, he said with a light smile: "Yu Long, see you at the peak!"

Yu Long warned: "Don't be careless. This is a test set by Major Su!"

"Afraid of what?" Shi Zhuang said in a low voice, "I don't believe I can't even get close to Su Yang's side!"

Just at this moment, the young geniuses who had climbed Shi Kan first let out cries of alarm one after another.

Shi Zhuang and Jin Long looked at the stone steps—over a dozen young beast tamers had already taken the first level of the stone steps.

But clearly, they hadn't made sufficient preparations.

Four young beast tamers who had prepared nothing, the moment they stepped onto the steps, they were pushed back down!

It was as if an invisible force had pushed them down.

Shi Zhuang switched to his defensive dragon beast and walked up to the stone steps.

He heard his cheering squad shouting again: "Shi Zhuang! Shi Zhuang! Unmatched under heaven!"

Shi Zhuang paid no heed to the clamor. He drew a slow breath, set one foot on the first stone step, then gently—

In an instant, he felt a powerful pressure rushing toward him!

"It's a bit heavy!"

The moment he stepped onto the first stone step, Shi Zhuang also sensed that his body seemed to be carrying a fifty-jin weight!

He raised his head, looked at the countless stone steps before him leading up Mount Qingliang, and suddenly felt excited!

Shi Zhuang murmured: "This way, it's even more of a challenge!"

Below Mount Qingliang, the crowd watching the preliminaries began discussing: "Look, those youngsters seem to be finding it a bit difficult!"

"Su Yang's move is pretty ruthless—the pressure is enormous, even Mount Qingliang can't bear that kind of force!"

"I admit Su Yang is indeed very strong, but those kids, they just got on the first step and came right back down—what's the meaning of this? Haven't they eaten?"

"Probably just didn't prepare well enough!"

"Su Yang's trial seems quite extraordinary!"

"I even want to try it—I want to see how long it takes me to climb to the top!"

"Go ahead and try it then!"

"You think I'm stupid? That's the arena—if I go up, the Southeast Military Department would probably throw me in jail!"

"You're really dumb. Only with Shi Kan is it a competition attempt—you can just walk past from the side!"
