Chapter 906

After some hesitation, the green Twin did as told, trembling.

"Little ones, if we're being honest, I'm the one who saved your lives. If I'd let you keep fighting each other back then, you'd both be dead for sure!" Su Yang communicated with them through his mind. "My methods might have been a bit rough, but whose fault is that for not listening to reason? I didn't have any better option!"

The green Twin raised its head to look at Su Yang, hesitated for a moment, then still nodded in acknowledgment.

The Twin, born with God-Rank Mid-Grade potential, possessed extremely high spiritual intelligence even at the moment of birth!

The Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly said to Su Yang from the side: "Actually, this green one has a much better temperament. The last internal fight was mainly started by the black one. The green one only fought back because she didn't want to be destroyed!"

Su Yang glanced at the Twin's loyalty.

The Twin's loyalty was split into two, corresponding to the two souls!

Although they were pet beasts with God-Rank Mid-Grade potential, their loyalty to him had both reached above 70, and one of them had even reached above 80!

This completely exceeded Su Yang's expectations!

One should know that, usually, the higher a pet beast's growth potential, the lower its loyalty after signing a contract.

Back when Su Yang signed a contract with Elder Yan Mo, who had Emperor-Rank Top-Grade growth potential, Elder Yan Mo's initial loyalty toward Su Yang was only 69 points.

But now, the Twin with God-Rank Mid-Grade potential had just signed a contract with Su Yang, and the loyalty of both souls had already reached 70 points!

Among them, one loyalty was displayed in green text: 73.

The other loyalty was displayed in black text: 88!

In other words, the Twin that hadn't appeared before Su Yang and was even more afraid of him actually had a much higher loyalty toward Su Yang!

"More loyal because of fear and terror?"

This thought suddenly popped into Su Yang's mind!

It left him not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

However, what made Su Yang feel better was that this green one was clearly tougher, more sensible, and had quite the air of an elder sister.

He also knew that the Twin's ability to survive for so long despite being underdeveloped was largely thanks to this green Twin.

Su Yang slowly said: "Twin, I can roughly tell that both of you have the potential to reach God-Rank Mid-Grade!"

That green Twin had its eyes closed, yet a look of surprise appeared on its tiny face.

Clearly, it hadn't expected Su Yang to see through their potential at a single glance!

"But my pet beasts' potential basically all reaches God-Rank. Apart from your somewhat special attribute, you don't really have any other advantage!"

The Twin looked toward the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly beside Su Yang.

It didn't think Su Yang would deceive it.

After all, whether one possessed God-Rank potential could be seen in battle and growth!

Su Yang continued: "Follow me, and I can cultivate you up to God-Rank High-Grade, even God-Rank Top-Grade — no problem at all!

"Is it really possible?"

A clear, pleasant, yet timid voice appeared in Su Yang's consciousness.

"Later, I'll prove it to you!" Su Yang solemnly said.

"Mm!"

"Now, let's give you a name!" Su Yang said helplessly. "I can't keep calling you 'Twin' — you're clearly two separate beings, we have to distinguish you somehow!"

"Please, Master, give us names!"

"You're green, so I'll call you Xiao Lü. The one inside you is black…"

Su Yang suddenly felt something wasn't quite right!

Xiao Lü was fine, but Xiao Hei… would that really work?

PS: The author is terrible at naming. Readers can leave suggestions in the comments. If no one does, don't blame me for messing around! Don't make the names too chuunibyou, don't make them too embarrassing — I'll try to use yours, but I can only say I'll try! Chapter 475 is gone… sigh! _
