The Omen Crow's attack power may be weak.

But its talents are not to be underestimated.

Su Yang also felt satisfied with the Omen Crow's loyalty to him!

"From now on, stay by Xia Na's side and help her grow stronger!"

"Master, I want to stay with you!" the Omen Crow pleaded grovelingly, "I can't stand that idiot woman!"

"Obey me, and help her improve her strength!" Su Yang said sternly, "Otherwise, I'll give you to Mo Yi to play with!"

The Omen Crow glanced at Mo Yi sitting in Su Yang's lap; Mo Yi lowered her head, a cold smile creeping across her lips, those rows of white teeth sending chills down the Omen Crow's spine.

"Yes!" the Omen Crow hurriedly said, "I'll follow Xia Na!"

"Good! Get along well from now on!" Su Yang said, "Xia Na is a subordinate I've chosen. Don't let her die—if she dies, I won't have a pet slot for you. To unlock your special abilities, you might still need Mo Yi."

"I understand!"

"Go call Xia Na in."

"Yes!"

"From now on, call me Lord Su Yang. Our business must be kept absolutely secret!"

In the hall, Xia Na sat on the sofa waiting for Su Yang's summons, her heart uneasy.

Ten minutes later, Xia Na suddenly heard the Omen Crow's harsh, grating voice.

"Vile woman, the great Lord Su Yang summons you!"

Xia Na stood up and entered Su Yang's study.

Su Yang smiled: "Xia Na, I've already made arrangements with the little crow. From now on, it won't betray you—it will serve you faithfully!"

"Really?"

"Of course it is!" the Omen Crow shouted loudly, "Kneel down and thank Lord Su Yang for his grace! Without Lord Su Yang, I would've already torn you into eight pieces, vile stinking woman!"

"Thank you, City Lord!"

Xia Na would never kneel before Su Yang.

She knew the Omen Crow was just trying to disgust her.

"Xia Na, take the Omen Crow out to hunt ferocious beasts when you get the chance—it will level up faster!"

"Mm."

Xia Na nodded, not yet understanding how fast "faster" really meant, or what it truly implied.

"Also, don't tell anyone about how I helped you control the Omen Crow. Understood?"

"Not even Deputy Officer Liu?"

"She already knows—I consulted her beforehand, and she agreed."

"I'll keep it secret!"

"Go back now."

With Su Yang's assurance, Xia Na felt as if she were dreaming.

She believed Su Yang's promise.

Su Yang would never lie to someone as insignificant as her!

Her biggest problem had been solved.

The Omen Crow wouldn't defect anymore!

She now had a loyal pet with God-Rank potential!

What a dreamlike thing this was!

"Little crow, you really won't defect anymore?"

The Omen Crow sneered: "Do you think I'm loyal to you? I'm loyal to Lord Su Yang!"

"Why can't you be loyal to me?"

To be honest, Xia Na was jealous.

Her own pet was loyal to someone else—no beast tamer could tolerate that.

Even Xia Na herself was loyal to Su Yang!

"Lord Su Yang is the true powerhouse. You? You just got lucky—stumbled upon the Divine Crow, became a lowly human under Lord Su Yang!" the Omen Crow said with a sigh, "Too bad I didn't meet Lord Su Yang sooner!"

Xia Na said earnestly: "Divine Crow, I admit—I was wrong to use you as a shield last time. But from now on, I'll repay you tenfold—I'll treat you better than ever..."

"Do you think I'd believe you again? Drop your fake mask, vile woman!" the Omen Crow snorted coldly, "I, the Omen Crow, would rather be Lord Su Yang's dog than be your father!"
