As Lin An spoke softly, the already powerless-to-resist Annihilator Overlord's face suddenly changed.

"Long An... is humanity's perfect being."

Having barely answered halfway, in an instant, Lin An, seemingly dissatisfied with the Annihilator's answer, struck again.

"If you hide anything else, I'll kill you and then seek other Alien Species."

Coldly looking down at the Annihilator, Lin An gave a cold snort, utterly disregarding his pleas for mercy.

"Died at the hands of the Alien Species Emperor?"

That statement is basically correct, but it's obvious the Annihilator wasn't telling the truth; at least when answering the question, he deliberately tried to clear himself.

After the punishment ended, as if he had died once, the Annihilation Overlord no longer dared to lift his head to look at Lin An; a hidden flash of resentment crossed his eyes, and he had no choice but to speak honestly again.

He could tell that this monster had absolutely no mercy or leniency whatsoever.

If he hid anything else, there was a high chance his head would really be crushed!

"It was I who ambushed him.."

"Well... actually, when he fought the Alien Species Emperor, all of us ambushed him..."

"Long An... is too strong. Strong enough that he alone could crush the entire Alien Species army; if we hadn't intervened, even the Alien Species Emperor would have died."

After giving a bitter laugh, the Annihilation Overlord answered honestly, instantly causing Lin An to faintly startle.

"All of humanity?"

He had suspected there were traitors among humanity, but he never imagined that this world's perfect being was actually killed by the joint effort of two races!!?

"You betraying your perfect being, I can understand as an individual act. You're saying all of humanity!!?"

"Why would humanity kill its own perfect being? Aren't you afraid of the Alien Species!!?"

Lin An furrowed his brows, from the Annihilator's answer he vaguely conceived an absurd possibility.

"Yes.. you didn't hear wrong.."

With a complex expression, the Annihilation Overlord hesitated for a moment, as if organizing his words.

"How to put it... normally, we shouldn't have killed him... but just as you questioned, aren't we afraid?"

"No, we're afraid. The Alien Species are afraid too."

"In fact, we wanted to kill Long An because he was simply too strong! Strong enough that one person could practically resolve the entire Apocalypse, strong enough that one person could almost wipe out all Mutants!"

Listening to the Annihilator's answer, Lin An's doubts grew deeper.
