Qing Kai's whole body shuddered, and he suddenly came to his senses.

He lifted his head, saw that pair of indifferent eyes looking down on him, Qing Kai felt his hairs stand on end, silently cursed, and hastily squeezed out a fawning smile.

"Lord Heiyan, what are you saying? The items are on their way here; you know Earth is..."

"Bang!!"

Before Qing Kai could finish, Heiyan suddenly struck, slapping his face with a palm strike that came without warning.

"Boom!!"

In an instant, a tremendous force capable of splitting a mountain erupted.

Like a blown-up bowling ball, Qing Kai instantly curled up like a shrimp, and under that force he was smashed straight through six layers of fortifications!

"Crackle-pop"

In the huge metallic cavity, the shattered spirit-energy conduits exploded.

His gaze pierced through layers of molten metal plating; the Star-Shatterer Heiyan withdrew his right hand without expression and looked down at the bottom of the pit:

"No one can lie to my face."

"Qing Kai, do you think I haven't noticed your expression, your emotions, what every cell of your body is conveying?"

Heiyan shook his head and descended slowly, like a demon god who controls everything.

He planted one foot on Qing Kai's bloody, mangled head and began to speak:

"I noticed those war slaves you sent in from the start. After the rankings surged just now, those war slaves all hid their information again."

"There are seven squads total; whether it's the Red Kai lineage or the Black Kai, their scores haven't changed at all."

"So it's obvious that the one who caused the score to spike is the one you sent in, right?"

"As a Star-Shatterer, Heiyan can remember every detail of what he has seen, no matter how great or small."

"Unlike others who merely rejoice at the ranking surge, he keenly sensed that those war slaves were far more 'interesting' than before, and behind them lay many secrets."

"You ignorant fool, still dare to conceal?"

"Speak up—what exactly did they bring in? Or perhaps those so-called Earth natives are actually God Ascendants from other civilizations?"

"That's the most reasonable guess."

After Heiyan finished speaking, he condensed a wisp of icy cold flame at his fingertips!

Facing the utterly cold-hearted Heiyan, Qing Kai felt his courage nearly break, a huge panic welling up that almost drove him to despair!

"What are you saying!? He knows what!?"

He too had just realized that Lin An indeed has a serious problem!

But he truly doesn't know what the problem is, or what exactly Lin An possesses!

Driven by a strong will to survive, seeing Heiyan about to lose patience again, Qing Kai couldn't think further and shouted desperately:

"Lord Heiyan! It's an ancient relic! Those monkeys have experimental-grade props on them!"

Half a minute later.

Seeing Qing Kai struggling to kneel at his feet, Heiyan nodded thoughtfully.

"You mean those monkeys retain ancient genetic modifications, making them exceptionally suited for using a test prop?"

"And that ancient prop has an energy-conversion effect; their true combat power could reach at most War Star Advanced?"

"Yes, sir! The situation there matches the Alliance's earlier records perfectly!"

"It's not that I intended to conceal it! I only discovered these natives not long ago; the Stellar Glory Battle was about to begin, and I had no time to test!"

Gasping heavily, Qing Kai, who had barely patched himself up, nodded quickly, fearing to provoke Heiyan's displeasure.

To save his life, he had no choice but to fabricate a story; of course, he himself actually suspected as well. Otherwise, how could one explain that a native monkey on a deserted planet could display such strength?

"No time to test? I think you tested it and found you couldn't use it, right?"

Heiyan chuckled lightly and ended up believing Qing Kai's explanation.

In his view, Qing Kai likely discovered that these natives had potential comparable to God Ascendants, so he simply sent them into the Stellar Glory to earn rewards for himself.

With a Star Destroyer personally leading the team, they could reach Earth within at most thirty hours. Even counting search time, with a hundred Fifth Stages acting together, they could dig up the Earth's star core within at most one hour.

If they searched the entire Earth and found nothing, Qing Kai wouldn't know how to face Black Flame's wrath.

Instinctively looking at the distant star gate that had begun to transmit, Qing Kai gave a bitter laugh, as if he already saw the scene of himself and Earth being blown up simultaneously.

As for Lin An?

In his eyes, Lin An was already a dead person. Impressive, maybe he could live two days longer than him.
