Chapter 441: Nanako's Death

Returning to the room, as soon as Su Ye pushed open the door, he saw Nanako holding a dagger, looking like she was going to commit suicide.

Seeing his arrival, Nanako was somewhat panicked.

Then she sneered, "Su-san, are you very surprised that I would betray you?"

Su Ye shook his head, "A little bit, but I think it's normal. We were originally people from two countries forming opposing sides; how could there be eternal sincerity?"

"It's just that I don't understand, what is the purpose of you doing this?"

Did Nanako remember something? Every time something happened, he would use mental control to erase Nanako's memory.

At least when he was in the Sakura Country, he could be sure that Nanako had also been sincere toward him.

Nanako gripped the dagger tightly and slumped on the bed.

"You went to the Beautiful Country this time, isn't it to save your own country? Then do you know what I was thinking when I saw you destroying my country?"

Nanako sighed long, "Su-san, you were indeed very good to me before, but no matter what, I am a citizen of the Sakura Country."

She saw with her own eyes Su Ye launching an attack on her country, the city walls broken, the people displaced, and she also became an orphan.

When she came to find Su Ye, the experience she recounted was actually partially hidden. How could she be so lucky to be able to follow the refugees and escape to the Imperial Capital?

It was that after Su Ye left the Sakura Country, the Sakura Country sent people to raid Su Ye's strategic base, wanting to see if there was any information.

At that time, Zhuo Lin gave her some strong medicine, and she was in a coma the whole time, being captured by them without any resistance and locked in prison.

The days were dark and lightless; the prisoners inside spat on, insulted, and beat her, and all of this was caused by Su Ye. The Sakura Country directly judged her as a traitor and sent people to capture her parents and family, killing them one by one in front of her.
