Chapter 156

She takes a full half-minute to say them.

As if she has used up all the strength of her life.

Above the stone statue.

Qin Mu lowers his head, looking at this white-haired, dying old man before him.

This scene is very sad.

Birth, aging, sickness, and death, reaching the end of one's natural life, are unavoidable.

"God... god... Ji, before... dying... wants... to see the god... one last time..."

For a long time.

Ji, kneeling on the cushion, slowly raises her head, gazing at the stone statue.

She speaks her final request.

She can feel that her life is slipping away bit by bit.

She is about to reach the end of her life.

But before death.

She has an obsession in her heart.

She wants to see this legendary god.

Decades ago.

When the Ji Tribe was on the verge of extinction, in that small temple, the temple gave a revelation.

Bestowing upon her the divine book and the divine artifact.

Subsequently.

Relying on the divine book and the divine artifact, she fought south and north, walking all the way.

Working conscientiously and diligently for decades.

Finally...

Built such a prosperous Great Ji State.

Scenes from the past play before her eyes like a movie.

And she gazes at the stone statue.

With her head held high.

But she waits for a long time without the god appearing.

Her consciousness also gradually becomes blurred.

"God... still doesn't want to see me..."

She smiles bitterly in her heart.

Just as she is about to close her eyes.

She suddenly sees...

The tall and majestic stone statue actually begins to shine.

A figure walks out from the middle.

Smiling at her.

"This... is this the god... much better looking than the stone statue..."

She has a smile on her lips and closes her eyes completely.

On the stone statue.

Qin Mu floats in the void and sighs.

Just now.

He could not bear to see Ji leave with regrets, so he appeared before her eyes.

Only she alone can see him.

"The first female emperor of Blue Star has died; to commemorate your achievements, there shall be three days of red rain, so that the world may know."

Subsequently.

Qin Mu takes a deep breath.

Reaches out his hand.

And waves it toward the sky of Blue Star.

At the same time.

"Boom!"

White lightning tears through the clear sky.

The roaring sound of thunder rings out.

A torrential downpour arrives.

But soon...

People discover that this rain is actually not transparent!

It is blood-red!

Not long after.

The palace of the Great Ji State announces the news of the Empress's passing.

Only then do the people realize.

"A strange phenomenon from heaven; this is the god seeing the Empress off!"

"The Empress fought for a lifetime, rising from humble beginnings; her achievements are unprecedented and will surely have no successors! With the Empress's passing, heaven also weeps for her!"

"Farewell, Empress!"

"..."

From this day on.

The entire Great Ji State, from princes to commoners.

Everyone wears mourning clothes to see Ji off!

Her various policies.

Make all of humanity...

Cross directly from the barbaric state of eating raw meat and drinking blood to the feudal era.

From the past of being insecure and worrying about attacks from wild beasts, to the present of living and working in peace and contentment, with enough food and clothing.

From being torn apart and lives being like grass, to the present of peace, stability, and order.

It can be said...

With her death, an era comes to an end.

Countless people in the world weep for it.

Mansion of the Minister of Works.

Yan wears plain white clothes.

Looking at the red rain filling the sky, he bows deeply toward the direction of the temple.

He understands that at the last moment of Ji's life, she must have gone to pay respects to the god.

And the torrential red rain filling the sky before him...

Is precisely the god's affirmation of her life's achievements.

"To have the god see you off, what an honor..."

Yan sighs with emotion.

For a long time.

He turns around and enters a secret room.

In the secret room, there are densely packed "divine artifacts"!

That's right.

It is the divine artifact!

After eight years of hard work, he finally found the method to forge the divine artifact!

Using that kind of red ore, one can extract a certain substance.

Using it to forge weapons will be invincible!
