Chapter 546: No, I'm bare-faced

Hearing this, Shen Li showed an embarrassed look and shook her head: "Isn't it supposed to be pure bare-faced?"

Sister Quan laughed, then patted the seat next to her to signal her to sit down.

He Qi and her manager Xiao Luo naturally recognized Shen Li, even though she was bare-faced, because everyone in the industry knew that Sister Quan only had two artists under her, one was Ji Chuhe, and the other was Shen Li.

Originally, they thought Sister Quan would take the initiative to introduce Shen Li, but Sister Quan didn't speak.

The atmosphere stiffened for a moment, and Xiao Luo had to take the initiative to greet: "Artists under Sister Quan are just well-conditioned, even bare-faced they are so beautiful. I watched Shen Li's 'Hua Xixi', she acted really well. It's rare for a newcomer actor to be double-nominated for the Golden Magpie Award."

Mentioning the Golden Magpie Award, He Qi, who was also shortlisted for "Best Newcomer Actor," looked at Shen Li with obvious hostility.

"You were shortlisted too, right?" Sister Quan suddenly looked at He Qi and asked.

He Qi didn't expect Sister Quan to suddenly take the initiative to talk to her, and was immediately startled, then quickly organized her expression: "Ah, yes, Sister Quan. I also didn't expect my first play to be shortlisted for Newcomer Actor. I still can't believe it even now."

One must be humble in front of seniors; she remembered this survival rule of the entertainment industry clearly and could perform it at any time.

Sister Quan just smiled without speaking. Seeing this, Xiao Luo quickly said: "But if we talk about this award, Shen Li definitely has a better chance of winning. After all, she is double-nominated, so she is naturally more outstanding than other actors shortlisted at the same time."

Hearing this, He Qi secretly pouted.

Because the manager was right. Looking at this competition rationally, Shen Li was the only actor among the Best Newcomer Actors who was also nominated for other awards, so the winning chance was almost already an open card.

But she just wasn't convinced in her heart.

She was the female lead of her hit show.

Shen Li just bathed in the light of the big IP "Destiny as Phoenix," playing a third female lead in it, and actually had the dog-shit luck to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress along with Gao Fei.

Could it be that Sister Quan was operating behind the scenes?

He Qi was slandering in her heart when she heard her manager suddenly lean in and ask in a low voice: "You put on makeup, right?"

He Qi raised her head, a flash of guilt in her eyes: "No, I'm bare-faced!"

Xiao Luo frowned, looking at her face with suspicion: "Really or fake?"

As he spoke, he even reached out to touch her cheeks; there really was no powder.

Suddenly feeling some confidence, He Qi thought if her bare-faced condition was like this, then it really wasn't worse than Shen Li's, and her complexion looked much better than Shen Li's.

Seeing that the manager didn't doubt her, He Qi proudly hooked the corners of her lips.

She knew these stupid straight men definitely couldn't tell she was wearing nude makeup, and Director Gu Lian was the same.

Don't underestimate a girl's makeup skills.

The most important thing was that she couldn't accept showing herself purely bare-faced, because that way no one would be able to recognize her at all.

Sister Quan was stunned for two seconds when she saw the bare-faced Shen Li.

If it were her, the manager would probably only ask her one sentence: "Who are you?"

"The director is here!"

At this time, Xiao Luo saw from afar Director Gu Lian wearing a bathrobe, holding a cup of coffee and walking towards them, and hurriedly stood up first.

Seeing this, the others also stood up. ===== CHAPTER 547 =====
