Chapter 620: College E-sports League Autumn Tournament

"Shen Xing!"

Wu Changlin reached out and poked Shen Xing, and only after seeing him look at himself did he say in a low voice: "I, I have been playing games to find my state recently. After the autumn tournament ends, I'll go to your place to try, okay?"

"Okay!" Shen Xing was a little excited, and his voice was a bit loud.

Wu Changlin was so scared that he hurriedly pressed him down: "Don't make it public yet. If it doesn't work, I still want to stay here."

Leaving a retreat for himself, if he couldn't meet Shen Xing's requirements, he could continue to receive a substitute salary in this team.

Shen Xing nodded in understanding.

At this time, the "Wa Qia Qia" staff noticed Shen Xing and couldn't help but look at Guan Zhe and ask: "Guan Zhe, your team changed substitutes?"

Hearing this, Guan Zhe glanced at Shen Xing and said: "Yeah, the previous substitute left the team, and the club temporarily stuffed someone over so the team could participate normally."

The brand side didn't think much about it and nodded gently.

Anyway, Longcheng University's substitutes are just for show. So many games have been played by the official five-person group.

The preliminary rounds of the league are very intense, with BO3 competition rules, which means two wins out of three, and the team only has one chance to call a timeout in the middle, with no break time in between.

So according to the normal game duration, three games take about an hour and a half to two hours. If some teams make a quick decision and win two games in a row, the battle can end within an hour.

"Why are you trembling?"

At this time, Guan Zhe suddenly found that Li Yuan's body next to him was trembling slightly.

"I seem to be a little nervous suddenly." Li Yuan said in a low voice.

Guan Zhe reached out and pressed him: "What's there to be nervous about? It's not the first time on the field. If you can't do it, go out for a stroll."

Hearing this, Li Yuan nodded and took advantage of no one paying attention to get up and go outside to relax.

Soon, the live broadcast screen appeared on the TV in the waiting room, and the atmosphere in the waiting area suddenly became tense.

The gymnasium interior was divided into three areas, with three games going on at the same time, which means six college teams were appearing at the same time.

Because it was the preliminary round, there were many team spots, so the rhythm was very fast.

"Longcheng University, prepare to enter!"

The staff pushed open the door of the waiting room and commanded. Guan Zhe and the others stood up in unison and walked out one by one without looking back.

Seeing this, Wu Changlin pulled Shen Xing to sit on the sofa: "It's clear from here. This wave of luck is good. In the preliminary round, we drew Beijing Normal University, whose strength belongs to the weakest few teams, so without accidents, we can successfully sneak into the second round. If the second round luck is also good and we draw a weak team, we can enter the semi-finals."

In the competition draw, luck is also very important.

But by the semi-finals, with the strength of the Longcheng University team, they cannot rely on luck, because basically the remaining teams are strong teams.

Shen Xing cheered up. Although he had no interest in the Longcheng University team in his heart, he could take the opportunity to see the strength and tactics of other college teams.

There are usually hidden dragons and crouching tigers in the school team, and some people's technology is comparable to professional players.

It was just that he thought the first round could be successfully ended 2:0 quickly, but because Li Yuan was in a bad state today and played abnormally, the first two games were actually 1:1 with the Beijing Normal University team!

"Sorry captain, my mistake." Li Yuan's voice trembled in the headset, and because his mistake led to the team's failure, his nervousness became even more intense, and his hands and feet trembled uncontrollably even more violently.

"Li Yuan, don't mess around. If we are eliminated by Beijing Normal University in the first round, we will be nailed to the pillar of shame in history!"

"Yeah, that female support on the opposite side is quite strong. She already put a lot of pressure on us, don't pressure your teammates too!"

The complaints from teammates came from the headset, making Li Yuan's mentality even more unstable. He roared irritably: "Stop the damn beeping, I will play well."

Guan Zhe sat in the position next to Li Yuan and observed his situation without speaking, only to find that he was still trembling, as if his body had triggered a stress response that was difficult to control.

The third game was about to start. After experiencing great struggle in his heart, Guan Zhe stood up and raised his hand to call a timeout.

The referee walked up to ask about the situation, and the teammates also looked over with confusion. Guan Zhe hesitated for a while, but finally gritted his teeth and said: "We apply for a substitution."

The referee immediately raised the substitution card, and the host broadcasted in time: "Longcheng University applies to change the competition player, replacing 'shooter position' player Li Yuan with substitute player Shen Xing!"

"Captain!"

Li Yuan stared in shock, looking at Guan Zhe in disbelief: "What are you doing? You want to replace me?"

At this time, Li Yuan was not trembling anymore, because the shock brought by the thing in front of him far exceeded the nervousness brought by the competition.

"Your state is not right, let Shen Xing help you finish the first game, and you can go up again after successfully advancing to the second round!" Guan Zhe avoided Li Yuan's eyes and sat back in his seat after speaking.

Li Yuan turned to look at other teammates, and other teammates also clearly felt that Li Yuan was in a very bad state today. They agreed with the captain's decision and dodged without looking at him.

"Damn..." Li Yuan laughed out of anger and nodded angrily: "Okay, change!"

In the audience, Shi Jingming originally knew that Shen Xing definitely couldn't get on the field today and was almost asleep sitting there, but he was startled by a scream from Zhang Boyang next to him.

"Damn, Guan Zhe replaced Shen Xing!" Zhang Boyang jumped up excitedly: "Is this the first time our team has used a substitute?"

"Shen Xing is on?" Shi Jingming's eyes lit up when he heard this, and he hurriedly looked at the broadcast screen, just in time to see Li Yuan leaving the field without a word.

Guan Rui smiled with satisfaction, obviously agreeing with Guan Zhe's decision.

In the waiting room, Shen Xing was also very surprised to learn that he was replaced, and Wu Changlin was equally surprised. He even thought he had misheard.

He had been sitting on the cold bench here for more than a year and hadn't played a single official game!

"Shen Xing, hurry up!" Wu Changlin came back to his senses and hurriedly pushed Shen Xing: "Come on, beat their faces hard!"

Shen Xing was pushed out of the waiting room in a daze, and just as he turned his head, he met Li Yuan's fierce face.

Li Yuan looked at him fiercely and sneered: "You're still capable, replacing me in the first game."

Shen Xing frowned slightly and didn't speak.

Then he heard Li Yuan say again: "But this is a team game after all. Your individual ability is strong, but it's useless. If you lose the game because of you, you have to take the responsibility."

"You don't have to try to increase my psychological pressure here." Shen Xing stopped beside him, looked ahead, and said arrogantly: "It's just a preliminary round of a college league. The competitions I've participated in have a higher gold content than the finals of the college league."

He didn't lie. He participated in the professional league at the beginning and played against professional teams. Although he lost, the gold content of the professional league is far above the college league.
