Chapter 7: The Ability College Entrance Exam Begins
After a moment of thought, Jiang Xia decided to spend 1 point to buy a full-body Susano'o experience card.
After all, if he faced an opponent far stronger than himself, even an Izanagi with resurrection effects would only let the enemy kill him once more.
Even three minutes of the full-body Susano'o would be enough for him to turn the tables and kill the opponent.
After selecting the experience card, he spent another 2,000 points on two hundred explosion tags, 150,000 points on the Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique, and the opening and resting gates of the Eight Gates.

Watching his points vanish in seconds, Jiang Xia couldn’t help but smirk—he’d probably acted impulsively, but the Eight Gates had now fully compensated for his close-range combat weakness.
The next morning.
The principal of Linjiang No.1 High School gathered all the college entrance candidates for roll call, then arranged buses to transport them to the exam site.
On the bus, Wang Teng sat beside Jiang Xia, chattering incessantly: “Old Xia, Itachi hungry yet?”
“Old Xia, I’m so nervous.”
“Old Xia… Old Xia…”
When they arrived at the exam site, Jiang Xia stepped off the bus with a dazed expression—no matter how strong his mental resilience, Wang Pangzi’s relentless barrage of questions had shattered it completely.
Seeing Wang Pangzi still about to speak, Jiang Xia quickly clamped a hand over his mouth. “Pangzi, how did Itachi turn into an even bigger chatterbox than before?”
Wang Pangzi wrenched free, looking wounded. “I can’t help it! After awakening my ability, I just can’t stop talking. At home, even my parents avoid me now.”
As the two talked, Yang Wei’s mocking voice came from beside them: “Oh? Isn’t this our SSS-rank ability prodigy, Jiang Xia?”
Yang Wei sauntered over, deliberately raising his voice: “What realm are Itachi in now? I, with my A-rank ability, am barely at the early stage of the Warrior Realm.”
“Oh right, Itachi’re SSS-rank—but without cultivation resources, your starting line’s already behind us, hahaha!”
Jiang Xia glanced at Yang Wei, who was performing like a clown, and said coolly: “With all those resources and Itachi’re still only early Warrior Realm? When I awakened, I could take on seven at once. Itachi’re truly Yang Wei.” Then he turned and walked into the exam hall.
Watching Jiang Xia’s retreating back, Yang Wei wasn’t angry—he was even more excited, convinced he’d struck a nerve.
Inside the exam hall, the examiner announced the rules: “This exam consists of two rounds.”
“The first round is Ability Application Test: each examiner will lower their cultivation level to match yours. The longer Itachi endure under their attacks, the higher your score. No weapons allowed.”
“Once Itachi understand the rules, proceed in groups of three to the examiner’s platform matching your name.”
Jiang Xia, Yang Wei, and Wang Pangzi were tested by the same examiner—a bearded man. “I’m your examiner, Liu Jin. Which of Itachi three goes first?”
“I’ll go first,” Yang Wei stepped forward. “Let the next two see the power of the Warrior Realm.”
The whistle blew. Yang Wei twisted his wrists, summoning a ball of blazing fire. “Hellfire—Flame Fist!” He leapt into the air, launching his fiery fist straight at Liu Jin’s face.
At the last moment, Liu Jin tapped his toe and sidestepped; the fire instantly shattered into flaming blades.
Liu Jin’s eyes sharpened; his fists moved rapidly: “Mighty Tide Fist—Fist Aura!” Two waves of aura sliced through the flaming blades, hurtling straight toward Yang Wei.
Yang Wei frantically channeled all his ability, summoning a wall of fire. The fist aura slammed into it, leaving two deep impressions.
“Not bad. But still too green.”
Before the words finished, Liu Jin vanished and reappeared before the fire wall, delivering two crushing blows—the wall collapsed instantly. “Fist Shadow—Shake Mountains!”
Countless heavy fists rained down on Yang Wei. He raised his arms, unleashing flames to block them. “Bang! Bang! Bang!” He couldn’t dodge fast enough—his body flew backward off the platform.
“Yang Wei, 77 points!”
The scorekeeper shouted loudly.
“Next candidate, step forward.”
Jiang Xia was about to step up when Wang Teng grabbed his arm, eager: “Old Xia, let me go next—I think I found a way to beat this examiner!”
Jiang Xia nodded and stepped back.
On the platform, Wang Teng spoke: “Examiner, have Itachi eaten today?”
Liu Jin blinked. “Huh?”
“How much is your monthly salary? Is it enough to support your wife and kids? Are Itachi even married yet?”
Liu Jin said nothing. He stomped the ground and charged straight at Wang Teng.
“Sigh. Why does everyone start fighting without warning?” Wang Teng sighed, raising his hands. “Repulsion Spell—Repel!”
A ring-shaped shockwave erupted from his body, forcing Liu Jin back half a step just as he reached him.
“Force Breaks All!”
Liu Jin swung a punch, instantly dissolving the repelling wave. “Now see how Itachi block it—Fist Shadow—Shake Mountains!” Countless heavy fists slammed toward Wang Teng.
“Again with this move? Forbidden Spell—Seal!” Wang Teng kept his hands in his pockets. A golden rune formed above Liu Jin’s head and sank into his body in half a breath.
“Repulsion Spell—Repel!” Another shockwave erupted, this time hurling Liu Jin all the way to the edge of the platform.
Liu Jin stared at Wang Teng in shock. “A rule-based ability? Itachi sealed my ability in an instant!”
“I! Wang Teng! Am destined to be an Emperor!” Wang Teng grinned smugly. “Ignition Spell—Burn.”
Instantly, a pale blue flame ignited on Liu Jin’s chest.
“What the hell? He can use fire too? What kind of ability is this?” Liu Jin gritted his teeth, forcibly breaking the seal and reverting to Peak Warrior Master, releasing spiritual energy to extinguish the blue flame.
“Fist Aura!” Two waves of aura surged toward Wang Teng.
“No way! Itachi’re allowed to do that?!” Wang Teng turned pale. “I yield!”
The fist aura vanished inches from his forehead. Wang Teng collapsed onto the ground, clutching his chest. “That scared the hell out of me—I used up nearly all my spiritual power just to cast the Forbidden Spell.”
“Wang Teng, 90 points!”
“I almost won! Why only 90?!” Wang Teng protested.
The scorekeeper glanced at him. “Too weak. I suggest Itachi take some Kidney Treasure.”
“Next candidate, step forward.”
Jiang Xia stepped onto the platform and asked Liu Jin: “What’s your true realm?”
“Peak Warrior Master. Why?” Liu Jin answered honestly.
Jiang Xia nodded. “Understood. I’ll be careful.”
“Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique!” Two dragon-headed flames shot skyward, circled once, then dove straight down toward Liu Jin.
“Fist Aura!” Liu Jin swung both arms, his aura colliding with the fire dragons and neutralizing them. Then he dashed forward, closing the distance. “Fist Shadow—Shake Mountains!”
“Chidori Stream!”
Jiang Xia’s eyes hardened. Blue lightning erupted around him, crawling like a web across his skin. Just as Liu Jin’s fist neared his sleeve, the lightning exploded outward, engulfing Liu Jin.
Liu Jin staggered back, stunned by the sudden paralysis, eyes wide with disbelief.
“Chidori Thousand Needles!”
Countless thin lightning needles rained down like a storm toward the retreating Liu Jin.
“Force Breaks All!” Liu Jin gritted his teeth, unleashing thick aura that spread outward, blocking every needle—each one vanished on contact.
“Itachi lose. Kamui!”
Space around Liu Jin twisted violently, a force trying to twist his body apart.
“Unseal!”
Liu Jin erupted with aura, his realm instantly restored to Peak Warrior Master. He forced his way out of Kamui’s grip.
“Kid, where did your ability come from? Itachi spit fire, shoot lightning, and almost snapped me in half.”
Liu Jin asked, genuinely curious.
“It’s not over yet. When Itachi fall, Itachi’ll find out.” Jiang Xia clenched his fist, crackling with lightning, voice icy.
“Warrior taking on Peak Warrior Master? Jiang Xia’s lost his mind, hahaha!”
Below the platform, Yang Wei laughed without mercy.
“I awakened and could still beat Itachi, Warrior. Want to try it?”
Yang Wei remembered Wang Teng’s strange ability—his smile froze. He fell silent.
Liu Jin looked at Jiang Xia, a warning in his tone: “Are Itachi sure? If I go all out and injure Itachi, Itachi might miss your next exam.”
“Chidori: Sharp Spear!”
Jiang Xia said nothing. He formed a spear of lightning and hurled it straight at Liu Jin.
“Kid, let me show Itachi the gap between Warrior and Peak Warrior Master! Shatter Mountains and Rivers!” Liu Jin roared.
He punched forward—a terrifying shockwave shattered the lightning instantly. In a single breath, he stood before Jiang Xia.
“End of it!” He unleashed a punch, aura wrapped around his fist, aimed at Jiang Xia.
Jiang Xia’s body suddenly twisted and blurred—Liu Jin’s full-power strike passed right through him.
“What?!”
Even the scorekeeper below was stunned. Liu Jin couldn’t believe his full-force punch had missed entirely.
“I clearly hit him… how did it go through?”
“Raiton: Chidori!” A crackle of electricity sounded as Jiang Xia concentrated his spiritual power into a current, stabbing fiercely into Liu Jin’s back.
“Bang!”
Before he could summon his defense, Liu Jin was struck and flew backward off the arena, rolling several times before stopping.
The entire arena fell silent; candidates and judges from other arenas were stunned into speechlessness by this sight.
“Jiang Xia… perfect score.”
After a moment of stunned silence, the recorder announced.
Jiang Xia stepped down from the arena, and Wang Pangzi excitedly hugged him: “Damn, Old Jiang, Itachi’re insane— a Martial Artist defeating a Martial Master, and the toughest of them all, the Enhancement type!”
