Chapter 150

Luo Chenyu reacted in time, circling around behind the 【Abyss Lava Demon】.

What he never expected was that after the lava was blocked by the 【Abyss Lava Demon】 in front of him, it actually added over 500,000 HP to it.

"You're cheating!!"

Luo Chenyu gritted his teeth, snatched up the spiked club, and went wild on the damage output.

In just two seconds, the 【Abyss Lava Demon】 before him was smashed into smithereens, leaving behind a red crystal that was automatically collected by him.

It was exactly the Abyss Lava Crystal he needed!

Objective completion +1!

A few seconds later, another 【Abyss Lava Demon】 also enjoyed the spiked club massage service, left behind a crystal, and departed in bliss.

Luo Chenyu's brow twitched slightly.

"Something's off — the monsters here actually give experience!!"

Relatively speaking, it really was off.

But for him, it was a good thing.

Every 【Abyss Lava Demon】 could provide 120,000 experience points — if he killed 100 of them, that would be 12,000,000!

If he were outside, how long would he have to grind monsters for!

He now knew his objective.

Luo Chenyu set off on the road to hunt 【Abyss Lava Demons】.

As he ventured deeper into the Lava Plains, the 【Abyss Lava Demons】 he encountered grew more and more numerous.

They appeared in groups of three or five.

This also saved him quite a bit of time.

In just ten-odd minutes, he had collected all the Abyss Lava Crystals and completed the first objective.

He had to admit.

The sudden spike in difficulty also raised the reward for completing the objective.

What followed was the second layer's objective.

Another crystal collection — this time it was Abyss Magic Stone Crystals, also one hundred of them.

From then on, Luo Chenyu embarked on the road of crystal collection.

………………

An hour and a half later.

Luo Chenyu stood beneath a volcano — this was the three hundred and fifty-sixth layer's objective.

Using the crystals he had collected, he opened the passage to teleport to the next layer.

And the monster guarding the volcano was the trial he had to pass.

【Abyss First Layer Guardian】

【Race: Abyss Demon Race】

【Level: LV. 100】

【Strength: Tier 6】

Apart from the name, it was identical to the 【Abyss Lava Demon】, but he could clearly sense that the Guardian's strength was definitely more than a notch above the 【Abyss Lava Demon】.

Under the same strength rating, the gap in true strength was sometimes like heaven and earth.

Take him for example…

With "mere" Tier 5 strength, he could still crush a Tier 6!

When he had obtained the Destiny Talent earlier, his strength rating had already changed.

"Kill!"

Luo Chenyu couldn't be bothered with all that — just charge in recklessly!

Opening move: Savage Charge.

Combined with shield bombardment and normal attacks, before the Guardian could even react, he had been one-shotted.

Even though…

The Guardian possessed the ability to revive, and after standing back up, it still couldn't escape Luo Chenyu's spiked club.

"Ding, your level has increased by 1, current level LV. 45!"

Finally, he had reached Level 45.

Only the last 5 levels remained until the Third Advancement!

After climbing the volcano, he tossed the collected crystals into the magic array wreathed in demonic fire.

First Layer of the Abyss, complete!.
