Chapter 209
The surrounding space was a vast expanse of white — nothing could be seen at all.
Before his eyes was only a virtual panel.
【Nickname: Unconfirmed】
【ID: 9881314 (Can be hidden)】
【Title: None】
【Tier: Black Iron Zero Star (0/100)】
【Win Rate: None】
【Points: 0】
"Ding — please confirm your nickname as soon as possible!"
Luo Chenyu thought for a moment, then wrote down two big characters!
Furious Bear!
"Ding — that nickname is not duplicated, confirmed!"
Along with the disappearance of the mysterious prompt tone, Luo Chenyu found that the virtual panel before his eyes had gained three new functions.
【Shop】, 【Arena】, 【Friends】!
"Heh, finally it feels like playing a game."
Luo Chenyu smiled, opened the 【Arena】 function, and went straight into matchmaking!
The arena rules — matchmaking was generally done within the same tier, with a small chance of being matched against an opponent one tier higher.
In the 【Eternal Arena】, there was no such thing as matching by strength.
So Luo Chenyu had no idea what strength his opponent actually was.
The matchmaking was very slow!
Luo Chenyu didn't idle either, checking the items in the 【Eternal Arena Shop】 one by one.
Suddenly.
Three mysterious prompt tones reached his ears.
"Broadcast: Player 【Night Heavenly Emperor】 killed player 【Void Demon Shadow】 in an Epic Tier matchmaking battle, bonus reward of 10,000 points!"
"Broadcast: Player 【Night Heavenly Emperor】 killed player 【Void Demon Shadow】 in an Epic Tier matchmaking battle, bonus reward of 10,000 points!"
"Broadcast: ……"
Luo Chenyu gave a slight sigh — the matchmaking mechanism, the danger was actually not much different from a deathmatch!
In matchmaking, one could surrender.
In a deathmatch, one could not.
The danger level of the 【Eternal Arena】 was indeed very high!
Sometimes, before one could even throw in the towel and surrender, one would already be instantly killed!
………………
A few minutes later.
Finally…… the matchmaking succeeded.
His line of sight shifted.
As far as the eye could see, an endless plaza — bluestone floor tiles bearing the marks of time.
A hundred meters away stood a bizarre creature.
Seeing this, Luo Chenyu immediately frowned.
The opponent…… was not human!
It had a humanoid form, but its head resembled that of a centipede — what left a deep impression on him were the eight pairs of emerald-green eyes and the pincer-like jaws.
At the same time.
The opponent's basic information appeared before his eyes.
【Nickname: Thousand-Legged Face】
【ID: Hidden】
【Title: None】
【Tier: Black Iron Five Star】
【Win Rate: 81%】
……
"An 81% win rate — not bad strength!"
If he had to guess, every contestant who could participate in the 【Eternal Arena】 had probably undergone similar trials, and their strength absolutely had to exceed that of a Tier 7 fierce beast.
As Luo Chenyu muttered to himself.
A strange tone reached Luo Chenyu's ears.
Indeed, the opponent Thousand-Legged Face had spoken.
Even though he couldn't hear Thousand-Legged Face's words, he understood its meaning in his mind.
"Looks like my luck is pretty good — first match today and I run into a noob, a Tier 5 human, and a tank at that…… hahahaha……"
Luo Chenyu was briefly stunned — from Thousand-Legged Face's tone, he sensed its contempt for humans.
Eye of Insight!
However…… to Luo Chenyu's exasperation, he still couldn't see any information.
So the question was.
How had Thousand-Legged Face discovered his information?
