Chapter 40: Kobold Lord! Blocked at the Door by Undead!

The Undead legions under Qin Luo's command constantly swept through the surrounding monster nests, and every time they discovered one, they would eradicate it.

Of course, besides monster nests, there were also some lords' territories that became the targets of the Undead legions.

Coincidentally, the Undead legion led by Wang Ba was in a place less than three miles southwest of Qin Luo's territory, and discovered another player territory.

At this time, the territory was suffering from the attack of a group of dark monsters.

And the troops under this lord were ordinary Kobolds, but he was very smart, utilizing the effect of the territory protection shield to separate the dark monsters and kill them one by one.

Although the killing efficiency was very low, it was very effective.

Nowadays, this lord had successfully killed more than fifty dark monsters, while maintaining an amazing record of 0 deaths.

"Sure enough, the strategy posts on the forum are still useful!"

"Although the individual strength of these dark monsters is strong, they don't have organizational discipline like soldiers, and it's easy to lure them apart!"

"As long as they are broken one by one, eliminating them one by one is not a problem at all!"

This lord named 'Jian Shengyuan' was very happy.

He was just an ordinary lord, and the troops under his command were ordinary Kobolds.

It could be said that the start was unfavorable.

However, he had a smart brain, and in these two days, relying on excellent profit-seeking and bold attempts, he killed quite a few wild monsters and harvested many resources.

What made him most proud was that in these two days, he achieved zero casualties for his troops, and not a single Kobold died due to battle.

Therefore, the number of Kobolds under his command was still two hundred.

As long as tonight passed, recruiting another wave tomorrow would mean three hundred Kobolds.

In this way, he would be able to conquer the surrounding monster nests, collect Barracks Hearts, and thereby upgrade the level of the barracks.

"Although I started a bit low, relying on my wisdom and strategy, I will definitely be able to surpass other lords and step to the peak of the Chaos Continent!"

Jian Shengyuan was full of confidence.

Until the second half of the night, Jian Shengyuan finally eliminated all the dark monsters.

Just when he was overjoyed and dispatched Kobolds to go outside to clean up the spoils.

Suddenly, a large number of Undead Skeleton Soldiers appeared near the territory, launching a fierce attack on the Kobolds under his command.

In just one wave of charge, dozens of Kobolds fell under the Undead.

"Run, run back quickly!"

Jian Shengyuan's face revealed a look of terror, and he shouted loudly.

The Kobolds heard the Lord's order and didn't dare to continue fighting, fleeing back to the territory one after another.

But despite the timely retreat, the number of Kobolds that finally escaped back to the territory was less than one hundred.

"How could there be Undead here?"

"Isn't it said that the dark offensive only has three waves?"

"And the system also prompted me that the defense was successful! What the hell is going on!"

Jian Shengyuan had a look of heartache, unable to figure it out.

And he stared dead at the Undead outside.

Those Undead were clearly different from the previous dark monsters, more like a well-trained army.

After the Kobolds retreated into the territory, they gave up the pursuit and did not approach the territory boundary.

What was even more infuriating was that these Undead actually started cleaning up the battlefield in front of him, moving away the corpses of the Kobolds and dark monsters.

Finally, Jian Shengyuan even saw that the Undead legion was stationed in a place less than a hundred meters away from the territory.

"Hiss!"

Seeing the Undead's actions, Jian Shengyuan couldn't help but gasp, his back feeling cold.

Encountering a powerful enemy, impossible!

His own troops suffered heavy casualties, but he could still make a comeback!

But now, being blocked at the door by a large number of Undead meant that he could no longer leave the territory to obtain resources, and the territory could not continue to develop.

Although his personal life would not be threatened, if the territory could not develop and his strength could not become stronger, once the Novice Protection Period ended, facing the attack of the monster tide with his current strength, there would only be a dead end!

"What should I do!"

Endless fear surged in Jian Shengyuan's heart, and his hands even trembled uncontrollably.

With the less than one hundred Kobolds he had left, even if he recruited another hundred Kobolds tomorrow, he couldn't beat the Undead outside.

Thinking of this, a sense of despair arose in Jian Shengyuan's heart.

"No, I absolutely cannot be defeated by a mere group of Undead!"

"Just because I have no way now doesn't mean I won't have a way in the future!"

"Also, I can post on the forum, maybe some lords can provide some countermeasures!"

Jian Shengyuan seemed to see a ray of hope.

"I did collect a few Black Iron-tier corpses!"

"But there isn't even a single Black Iron-tier Magic Crystal!"

Inside the castle, Qin Luo finished a tiring day and was lying on the bed preparing to sleep.

He took a look at the collected resources.

One Black Iron-tier corpse for 50 Energy points; after one night, only six were received.

But Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals, with a purchase price of 200 Energy points, simply could not be received.

Qin Luo even felt that the sellers of the Black Iron-tier corpses must be very short of Energy points to sell them to Qin Luo.

Otherwise, Qin Luo wouldn't have been able to collect even one.

Although this was only the second night, surely many lords had successfully killed Black Iron-tier monsters.

But Qin Luo didn't receive many, which could only mean that the price he gave was too low.

Others would rather keep them in the warehouse than sell them at a low price.

As for Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals, they are much rarer than Black Iron-tier corpses.

And the function of corpses is not much, but the use of Magic Crystals is great!

Upgrading the territory, upgrading the barracks, recruiting troops, and even building various buildings all require Magic Crystals.

And Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals are more important things than Ordinary-tier Magic Crystals.

Nowadays, lords who can kill Black Iron-tier monsters and get Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals are definitely very much in need of Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals, and it is impossible to take them out and exchange them for Energy points.

"It seems that wanting to collect more Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals using Energy points is not very feasible!"

Qin Luo pondered.

Afterward, Qin Luo looked at the resources in his hands and finally made a decision.

21 Black Iron-tier equipment were placed on the shelves, and the price of one piece of equipment was 3 Black Iron-tier Magic Crystals!

There was also 1 piece of Bronze-tier equipment, the Troll Club, which Qin Luo directly marked at 10,000 Energy points!

Of course, this price is highly unlikely to be affordable by anyone.

Even if a lord possesses ten thousand Energy points, it is impossible to use them to purchase a piece of Bronze-tier equipment, no matter how powerful its attributes are.

What Qin Luo wants is for those lords who have ideas about the Troll Club to add him as a friend and then discuss the specific price in detail.

There were still more than ten pieces of ordinary equipment left, which were sold at a price of 20 Energy points per piece.

"That's it!"

Qin Luo closed the Trading Market interface and closed his eyes, intending to have a good sleep.

He is different from the Undead who are still fighting outside.

The Undead don't need to eat, only consume low Energy points, have no physical strength limit, don't feel pain, and don't feel tired.

But Qin Luo is a human flesh and blood body, and his current strength is not strong enough to not need sleep; he needs to replenish his physical strength and spirit through sleep every day.
