Chapter 1101

Zhao Chi had actually thought about it for a moment just now.

But only thought about it for a moment, that's all.

20,000 gold coins was simply too much; if it were a little less he could still try, but he didn't even have enough for the starting bid.

But it didn't matter.

He didn't need to get every single racial bloodline in hand.

This one was fine to just look at.

Besides, this wasn't a primordial racial bloodline, so Zhao Chi didn't really want to buy it.

After all, if it were only used for decomposition, that would simply be too extravagant.

Zhao Chi had originally wanted to see exactly who had so much money to bid this bloodline up.

As a result, the host called out dozens of times, introduced it for 5 minutes, and not a single person bid.

Not even anyone raising a hand.

In the end, it was still too expensive.

There were definitely people who could afford it, but there certainly wouldn't be too many.

In the end, the host gave up helplessly.

He said with regret: "It seems this auction item is going to be passed…"

"Well then, our morning session of the auction ends here."

"The 6 distinguished guests who just won auction items, please follow our staff to the corresponding VIP transaction room to claim them."

"The afternoon session of the auction begins at 12 o'clock sharp; we'll see you again shortly."

The crowd rose one after another.

A female staff member quickly approached: "Hello madam, please come with me to claim auction item number 6."

Zhao Chi stood up: "Alright, sorry for the trouble."

"You're welcome, this way please."

Gu Qing and the others quickly followed.

Zhao Chi deliberately glanced at the beastman diagonally ahead; that beastman was also looking over with a heavy gaze.

Damn it.

Zhao Chi cursed inwardly.

Just coming to an auction, how could he run into such a lunatic.

His luck wasn't great…

He estimated it might be quite troublesome in a while.

After claiming the Expansion Stone, he had to leave immediately.

Zhao Chi beckoned, and Zhuang Ya and the others followed.

Walking out of the auction hall and into the corridor beside it, next to the corridor were the VIP transaction rooms.

Transaction room number 6 was very close, just over twenty meters away.

The transaction room wasn't large, divided into front and back sections.

The front was the transaction room, the back was the auction item storage room.

Each had 2 staff members.

After the transaction room staff verified Zhao Chi's identity, both sides began the formal transaction.

The staff member in the back took out a plain-looking box from the safe.

Inside the box were several exquisite red cases.

The staff member took out 2 red cases from the right side and handed them to the staff member in front.

Inside the cases were the racial gene Expansion Stones.

Then both sides conducted the transaction.

Zhao Chi was the buyer, so he didn't need to pay any additional fees.

Spending 5,100 gold coins, he obtained 2 racial gene Expansion Stones.

This price was considered average; it might be slightly more expensive, but Zhao Chi felt it was worth it.

After all, it would be hard to buy them back home; being able to buy 2 at once was already quite good.

At this point, the transaction was considered successful.

The 4 staff members bowed together and said: "Thank you for participating in the auction; we look forward to your next visit."

Zhao Chi nodded and quickly left.

At the same time, he took out the Chaos Mark Talisman, and quickly went out the door with Gu Qing and the others.

Whoosh!

"My lord, be careful!"

Zhao Chi's vision was filled entirely with red and white threads.

Immediately following were transparent, faintly white thick threads.

Zhao Chi knew these were all Gu Qing's threads; something must have happened.

But his line of sight was blocked; he couldn't see anything.
