Chapter 1420: Accumulated Strength, Sudden Burst (11)

Li Ruanyu's question was sharp.

There was simply no answer.

He could only make something up.

But the more he made up, the more mistakes he made.

Zhao Chi scratched his head: "Those…he wouldn't say."

Li Ruanyu frowned again: "What race?"

Zhao Chi thought of Hillier.

"Elven race."

"Elven race? They're in the south, and indeed quite a few are experience fruit merchants—stable? How much can they supply?"

"The first batch is 200,000."

"200,000…what! 200,000!? All experience fruit?"

"Yeah…"

"…Zhao Chi, let me tell you, the person you got in touch with absolutely cannot be a merchant—must be a wanted felon with a heavy sentence! Only someone like that would hide here and there, using a low-level lord like you as a bridge to sell goods."

Zhao Chi hadn't expected Li Ruanyu to say that.

He asked: "Then…then what do we do? Not take it?"

Li Ruanyu shook her head: "If we can get it smoothly, then of course it's good…but the risk is too great…dealing with this kind of person must be very cautious—one careless slip and both the person and the goods are gone, and even you and your territory would be seized."

"Then…?"

"You give me that person's information, I'll handle the rest. I'll definitely track down his channel, then bypass him and contact them directly. As for that fugitive, we can bring him in and claim the reward too."

Zhao Chi said awkwardly: "That person didn't leave any information."

"Impossible, right?"

"Maybe there is…but I have no way to get it. I only know this much."

Li Ruanyu nodded: "That's true too…you're only a village-level lord. I think it's better to be cautious. 200,000 experience fruit is quite a lot, but not that much either—don't get yourself dragged in."

After all that talking, the goal still wasn't reached.

Instead, it was about to be called off.

Zhao Chi was a bit anxious.

He immediately took out two experience fruit and placed them on Li Ruanyu's desk.

"Sister, he gave me some samples and is willing to send the goods first and collect payment later."
